1 Tango mwasi mokonzi ya Saba ayokaki sango ya lokumu oyo Kombo ya Yawe epesaki Salomo, ayaki mpo na komeka ye na nzela ya mituna ya makasi;
When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the LORD’s name, she came to test him with hard questions.
2 ayaki na Yelusalemi elongo na bato ebele mpe bashamo oyo ememaki biloko ya mike-mike oyo epesaka solo kitoko, wolo ebele mpe mabanga ya talo. Tango akomaki epai ya Salomo, ayebisaki ye nyonso oyo azalaki na yango kati na motema.
She came to Jerusalem with a very great caravan, with camels that bore spices, very much gold, and precious stones; and when she had come to Solomon, she talked with him about all that was in her heart.
3 Salomo apesaki ye biyano na mituna na ye nyonso, ezalaki ata na motuna moko te oyo mokonzi alongaki te kopesa eyano.
Solomon answered all her questions. There wasn’t anything hidden from the king which he didn’t tell her.
4 Tango mwasi mokonzi ya Saba amonaki bwanya nyonso ya Salomo, ndako oyo atongaki,
When the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,
5 bilei oyo azalaki kolia na mesa na ye, ndako ya basali na ye, esaleli mpe elateli ya basali na ye, basali oyo bapesaka ye masanga mpe bambeka ya kotumba oyo azalaki kobonza kati na Tempelo ya Yawe, mwasi mokonzi ya Saba akamwaki makasi
the food of his table, the sitting of his servants, the attendance of his officials, their clothing, his cup bearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the LORD’s house, there was no more spirit in her.
6 mpe alobaki na mokonzi: « Makambo oyo nayokaki wuta na mokili na ngai na tina na misala na yo mpe na bwanya na yo ezali ya solo.
She said to the king, “It was a true report that I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom.
7 Nandimaki te makambo oyo bazalaki koloba na tina na yango kino tango ngai moko nayei mpe namoni yango na miso na ngai moko. Nzokande, kolanda oyo ngai namoni, makambo oyo bayebisaki ngai te na tina na bwanya yango ezali penza kati-kati! Solo, bwanya mpe bozwi na yo eleki sango ya lokumu oyo nayokaki na tina na yo.
However, I didn’t believe the words until I came and my eyes had seen it. Behold, not even half was told me! Your wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame which I heard.
8 Esengo na bato na yo, esengo na basali na yo, ba-oyo batelemaka tango nyonso liboso na yo mpe bayokaka maloba na yo, oyo etonda na bwanya!
Happy are your men, happy are these your servants who stand continually before you, who hear your wisdom.
9 Tika ete Yawe, Nzambe na yo, apambolama; Ye oyo asepelaki na yo mpe atiaki yo na kiti ya bokonzi ya Isalaele! Ezali mpo ete Nzambe na yo alingaka Isalaele mpo na libela nde atiaki yo lokola mokonzi mpo ete osala na bosolo mpe na bosembo. »
Blessed is the LORD your God, who delighted in you, to set you on the throne of Israel. Because the LORD loved Israel forever, therefore he made you king, to do justice and righteousness.”
10 Mwasi mokonzi ya Saba apesaki mokonzi Salomo bakilo nkoto misato na nkama mitano ya wolo, biloko ebele penza ya solo kitoko mpe mabanga ya talo. Batikala lisusu te komema biloko ebele ya solo kitoko lokola oyo mwasi mokonzi ya Saba amemelaki mokonzi Salomo.
She gave the king one hundred twenty talents of gold, and a very great quantity of spices, and precious stones. Never again was there such an abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
11 Masuwa ya Irami oyo ememaki wolo wuta na Ofiri ememaki mpe mabaya ebele ya santale mpe mabanga ya talo.
The fleet of Hiram that brought gold from Ophir also brought in from Ophir great quantities of almug trees and precious stones.
12 Mokonzi asalaki na mabaya wana ya santale makonzi ya Tempelo ya Yawe mpe ya ndako ya mokonzi; asalaki na yango mpe mandanda mpe makembe. Mabaya ya santale etikala lisusu koya te, mpe batikala lisusu komona yango te kino na mokolo ya lelo.
The king made of the almug trees pillars for the LORD’s house and for the king’s house, harps also and stringed instruments for the singers; no such almug trees came or were seen to this day.
13 Na ngambo na ye, mokonzi Salomo mpe apesaki na mwasi mokonzi ya Saba biloko nyonso oyo azalaki na yango posa mpe oyo asengaki; apesaki ye lisusu bakado oyo kaka mokonzi lokola Salomo akokaki kopesa. Sima na yango, mwasi mokonzi ya Saba azongaki elongo na basali na ye, na mokili na ye.
King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she asked, in addition to that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own land, she and her servants.
14 Mobu na mobu, Salomo azalaki kozwa bakilo ya wolo nkoto tuku mibale,
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred sixty-six talents of gold,
15 mbongo ya mpako ya bato ya mombongo oyo bazalaki koteka biloko oyo bazalaki kosomba na bamboka ya bapaya, mbongo ya mpako ya bateki biloko ya ndenge na ndenge, mbongo ya mpako oyo bakonzi nyonso ya Arabi bazalaki kofuta, mpe oyo bayangeli ya bituka bazalaki kokongola kati na mokili ya Isalaele.
in addition to that which the traders brought, and the traffic of the merchants, and of all the kings of the mixed people, and of the governors of the country.
16 Mokonzi Salomo asalisaki na wolo batuta banguba minene nkama mibale: nguba moko na moko esengaki bakilo motoba ya wolo.
King Solomon made two hundred bucklers of beaten gold; six hundred shekels of gold went to one buckler.
17 Asalisaki lisusu na wolo batuta banguba mike nkama misato: nguba moko na moko ya moke esengaki kilo moko na bagrame nkama mitano ya wolo. Mokonzi atiaki yango kati na ndako na ye, oyo bazalaki kobenga « ndako ya zamba ya Libani. »
He made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three minas of gold went to one shield; and the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.
18 Mokonzi asalaki na pembe ya nzoko kiti moko monene ya bokonzi mpe abambaki yango wolo ya peto.
Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the finest gold.
19 Kiti yango ya bokonzi ezalaki na ematelo ya binyatelo motoba mpe songe ya mokongo na yango ezalaki lokola libungutulu. Na bangambo nyonso mibale, ezalaki na bisika ya kotia maboko mpe bikeko mibale ya nkosi na pembeni ya bisika ya kotia maboko.
There were six steps to the throne, and the top of the throne was round behind; and there were armrests on either side by the place of the seat, and two lions standing beside the armrests.
20 Bikeko zomi na mibale ya nkosi ezalaki na likolo ya binyatelo motoba ya ematelo: enyatelo moko na moko ezalaki na bikeko mibale, ekeko moko na ngambo moko na moko. Kati na mikili nyonso, eloko ya ndenge wana etikala nanu kosalema te.
Twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other on the six steps. Nothing like it was made in any kingdom.
21 Bakopo nyonso ya mokonzi Salomo ezalaki ya wolo ya peto, mpe biloko nyonso ya ndako ya Zamba ya Libani ezalaki ya wolo ya peto. Eloko moko te ezalaki ya palata, pamba te, na tango oyo Salomo azalaki mokonzi, palata ezalaki na motuya ata te.
All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were of pure gold. None were of silver, because it was considered of little value in the days of Solomon.
22 Mpe mokonzi azalaki na bamasuwa oyo ezalaki kosala mombongo na ebale monene elongo na bamasuwa ya Irami. Sima na mibu nyonso misato, bamasuwa ezalaki kozonga longwa na Tarsisi mpe ezalaki komema wolo, palata, pembe ya nzoko, bamakaku mpe bandeke oyo babengaka « paoni. »
For the king had a fleet of ships of Tarshish at sea with Hiram’s fleet. Once every three years the fleet of Tarshish came bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.
23 Mokonzi Salomo alekaki bakonzi nyonso ya mokili na bozwi mpe na bwanya.
So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.
24 Mokili mobimba ezalaki koluka kokutana na Salomo mpo na koyoka bwanya oyo Nzambe atiaki kati na motema na ye.
All the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.
25 Kati na bato oyo bazalaki kokende kotala Salomo, moko na moko azalaki komemela ye lokola kado: biloko ya palata, biloko ya wolo, bilamba, bibundeli, biloko ya mike-mike ya solo kitoko, bampunda mpe bamile. Mpe ezalaki bongo mibu nyonso.
Year after year, every man brought his tribute, vessels of silver, vessels of gold, clothing, armor, spices, horses, and mules.
26 Salomo asangisaki bashar mpe basoda oyo batambolaka likolo ya bampunda: azalaki na bashar nkoto moko na nkama minei, mpe basoda oyo batambolaka likolo ya bampunda, nkoto zomi na mibale. Abombaki bango kati na bingumba epai wapi babombaka bashar, mpe na Yelusalemi epai wapi mokonzi azalaki kovanda.
Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen. He had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen. He kept them in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.
27 Mokonzi asalaki ete palata ekoma ebele na Yelusalemi lokola mabanga, mpe banzete ya sedele ekoma ebele lokola banzete ya sikomori oyo ezali kati na mokili ya lubwaku.
The king made silver as common as stones in Jerusalem, and cedars as common as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland.
28 Bampunda ya Salomo ezalaki kowuta na Ejipito mpe na engumba Kue. Bato ya mombongo ya mokonzi nde bazalaki kosomba yango kuna na engumba Kue.
The horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt. The king’s merchants received them in droves, each drove at a price.
29 Bazalaki kosomba na Ejipito shar moko na motuya ya mbongo ya bibende ya palata, nkama motoba, mpe mpunda moko na motuya ya mbongo ya bibende, nkama moko na tuku mitano; bazalaki mpe kosomba yango mpo na bakonzi nyonso ya bato ya Iti mpe ya Siri.
A chariot was imported from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for one hundred fifty shekels; and so they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and to the kings of Syria.
