1 Bana na ngai, nazali kokomela bino makambo oyo mpo ete bosala masumu te. Kasi soki esali ete moko kati na bino akweyi na lisumu, tozali na Molobeli moko epai ya Tata: Yesu-Klisto, Nkolo-Na-Bosembo.
My little children, these things write I vnto you, that ye sinne not: and if any man sinne, wee haue an Aduocate with the Father, Iesus Christ, the Iust.
2 Amikabaki lokola mbeka mpo na bolimbisi masumu na biso; mpo na masumu na biso kaka te, kasi mpe mpo na masumu ya mokili mobimba.
And he is the reconciliation for our sinnes: and not for ours onely, but also for the sinnes of the whole world.
3 Tala ndenge nini tososolaka ete toyebi Nzambe: ezali mpo ete totosaka mibeko na Ye.
And hereby we are sure that we knowe him, if we keepe his commandements.
4 Moto nyonso oyo alobaka: « Nayebi Nzambe, » kasi atosaka te mibeko ya Nzambe azali mokosi mpe solo ezali kati na ye te.
Hee that saith, I knowe him, and keepeth not his commandements, is a liar, and the trueth is not in him.
5 Moto oyo atosaka Liloba na Nzambe azalaka penza na bolingo ya kokoka mpo na Nzambe kati na ye. Ezali ndenge wana nde tososolaka ete tozali moko na Ye.
But hee that keepeth his worde, in him is the loue of God perfect in deede: hereby wee knowe that ye are in him.
6 Moto nyonso oyo alobaka ete azali kati na Nzambe asengeli mpe kotambola ndenge Yesu atambolaki.
He that saith he remaineth in him, ought euen so to walke, as he hath walked.
7 Balingami na ngai, nazali kokomela bino mobeko ya sika te, kasi mobeko ya kala kaka, mobeko oyo bozwaki wuta na ebandeli. Mobeko yango ya kala ezali liloba oyo boyokaki.
Brethren, I write no newe commandement vnto you: but an olde commandement, which ye haue had from the beginning: this olde commandement is that worde, which yee haue heard from the beginning.
8 Nzokande, nazali mpe kokomela bino mobeko ya sika, mpe sika na yango emonani kati na Yesu mpe kati na bino, pamba te molili ezali kolimwa mpe pole ya solo esili kobanda kongenga.
Againe, a new comandement I write vnto you, that which is true in him, and also in you: for the darkenes is past, and that true light now shineth.
9 Moto nyonso oyo alobaka ete azali kati na pole kasi ayinaka ndeko na ye, azali nanu kati na molili.
He that saith that hee is in that light, and hateth his brother, is in darkenes, vntill this time.
10 Moto nyonso oyo alingaka ndeko na ye azali kati na pole; mpe ezali na eloko moko te kati na ye, oyo ekoki kobetisa ye libaku.
Hee that loueth his brother, abideth in that light, and there is none occasion of euil in him.
11 Kasi moto oyo ayinaka ndeko na ye azali kati na molili mpe azali kotambola kati na molili; ayebi te epai azali kokende, pamba te molili esila koboma ye miso.
But he that hateth his brother, is in darkenesse, and walketh in darkenesse, and knoweth not whither hee goeth, because that darkenesse hath blinded his eyes.
12 Bana, nazali kokomela bino, pamba te masumu na bino elimbisamaki mpo na Kombo na Yesu-Klisto.
Litle children, I write vnto you, because your sinnes are forgiuen you for his Names sake.
13 Batata, nazali kokomela bino, pamba te boyebi Ye oyo azala wuta na ebandeli. Bilenge, nazali kokomela bino, pamba te bolongaki Satana.
I write vnto you, fathers, because yee haue knowen him that is from the beginning. I write vnto you, yong men, because ye haue ouercome that wicked one. I write vnto you, litle children, because ye haue knowen ye Father.
14 Bana, nakomeli bino mpo ete boyebi Tata. Batata, nakomeli bino mpo ete boyebi Ye oyo azala wuta na ebandeli. Bilenge, nakomeli bino mpo ete bozali makasi, Liloba na Nzambe ezali kowumela kati na bino, mpe bolongaki Satana.
I haue written vnto you, fathers, because ye haue knowen him, that is from the beginning. I haue written vnto you, yong men, because ye are strong, and the worde of God abideth in you, and ye haue ouercome that wicked one.
15 Bolingaka mokili te; bolingaka mpe te nyonso oyo ezali kati na mokili. Moto oyo alingaka mokili azalaka na bolingo ya Tata te kati na ye,
Loue not this world, neither the things that are in this world. If any man loue this world, the loue of the Father is not in him.
16 pamba te nyonso oyo ezali kati na mokili, lokola baposa mabe ya nzoto, posa makasi ya konduka biloko oyo miso ezali kolula, mpe lofundu mpo na biloko; ewuti na Tata te, kasi ewuti na mokili.
For all that is in this world (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is not of the Father, but is of this world.
17 Mokili mpe baposa na yango ezali koleka, kasi moto oyo asalaka mokano ya Nzambe awumelaka tango nyonso. (aiōn g165)
And this world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth euer. (aiōn g165)
18 Bana, tokomi na tango ya suka; ndenge kaka boyokaki ete monguna ya Klisto azali koya, nzokande banguna ya Klisto basili koya sik’oyo ebele, ndenge wana mpe tosengeli koyeba ete tokomi na tango ya suka.
Litle children, it is the last time, and as ye haue heard that Antichrist shall come, euen now are there many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 Banguna yango babimelaki kati na biso, kasi bazalaki penza bato na biso te. Pamba te soki bazalaki bato na biso, balingaki kotikala na biso; kasi batikaki biso mpo ete emonana polele ete bango nyonso bazali bato na biso te.
They went out from vs, but they were not of vs: for if they had bene of vs, they should haue continued with vs. But this cometh to passe, that it might appeare, that they are not all of vs.
20 Nzokande bino, bozali na epakolami kowuta na Molimo Mosantu, mpe bino nyonso bozali na boyebi ya nyonso.
But ye haue an ointment from that Holy one, and know all things.
21 Ngai nakomeli bino mpo ete boyebi yango mpe mpo ete lokuta moko te ewutaka na solo; kasi ezali te mpo boyebi yango te.
I haue not written vnto you, because ye knowe not the trueth: but because ye knowe it, and that no lie is of the trueth.
22 Boye nani mokosi? Mokosi azali moto oyo awangani ete Yesu azali Klisto. Mpe moto ya ndenge wana azali monguna ya Klisto: awanganaka Tata mpe Mwana.
Who is a liar, but he that denyeth that Iesus is that Christ? the same is that Antichrist that denyeth the Father and the Sonne.
23 Moto nyonso oyo awangani Yesu azali mpe na Tata te. Moto oyo atatoli Yesu azali mpe na Tata.
Whosoeuer denyeth the Sonne, the same hath not the Father.
24 Kasi bino, bosimba makasi makambo oyo boyokaki wuta na ebandeli. Soki ezali penza kowumela kati na bino, bokowumela mpe kati na Mwana mpe kati na Tata.
Let therefore abide in you that same which ye haue heard from the beginning. If that which ye haue heard from the beginning, shall remaine in you, ye also shall continue in the Sonne, and in the Father.
And this is the promise that he hath promised vs, euen that eternall life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Nazali kokomela bino makambo oyo na tina na bato oyo bazali komeka kopengwisa bino.
These things haue I written vnto you, concerning them that deceiue you.
27 Kasi mpo na bino, epakolami ya Molimo oyo bozwaki kowuta na Klisto ezali kowumela kati na bino. Boye, bozali lisusu na posa te ete bapesa bino malakisi. Kasi lokola Molimo ya Klisto apesaka bino malakisi na tina na makambo nyonso, lokola mpe apesaka malakisi ya solo kasi ya lokuta te, bowumela kati na malakisi yango ndenge kaka bapesaki bino yango.
But that anointing which ye receiued of him, dwelleth in you: and ye neede not that any man teach you: but as the same Anoynting teacheth you of all things, and it is true, and is not lying, and as it taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 Sik’oyo, bana na ngai, bowumela ya kokangama na Klisto mpo ete, na ngonga nyonso oyo akomimonisa, tozala na elikya mpe toyoka soni te na liboso na Ye tango akoya.
And nowe, litle children, abide in him, that when he shall appeare, we may be bolde, and not be ashamed before him at his comming.
29 Boyebi malamu ete Klisto azali sembo; boye bosengeli mpe koyeba ete moto nyonso oyo asalaka makambo ya sembo azali mwana na Nzambe.
If ye know that he is righteous, know ye that he which doeth righteously, is borne of him.
