Then Meraioth conceived Amariah, and Amariah conceived Ahitub.

8 Ayitubi abotaki Tsadoki; Tsadoki abotaki Ayimaatsi;

Ahitub conceived Zadok, and Zadok conceived Ahimaaz.

9 Ayimaatsi abotaki Azaria; Azaria abotaki Yoanani;

Ahimaaz conceived Azariah; Azariah conceived Johanan.

Johanan conceived Azariah. He is the one who executed the priestly office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

Now Jehozadak departed, when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem, by the hands of Nebuchadnezzar.

So the sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 Bana mibali ya Gerishoni: Libini mpe Shimei.

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 Bana mibali ya Keati: Amirami, Yitseari, Ebron mpe Uzieli.

The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 Bana mibali ya Merari: Maali mpe Mushi. Tala bakitani ya Levi kolanda batata na bango:

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And so these are the kindred of Levi, according to their families.

Now the sons of Merari, their brothers, were on the left: Ethan, the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

And these are their habitations according to the villages and confines, specifically of the sons of Aaron, according to the kindred of the Kohathites. For it fell to them by lot.

And so, they gave Hebron, in the land of Judah, and its suburbs all around, to them,

also Jattir and Eshtemoa with their suburbs, then also Hilen and Debir with their suburbs,

as well as Ashan and Beth-shemesh with their suburbs.

60 Kati na etuka ya Benjame, bapesaki bango lokola bingumba ya kokimela: Geba mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Alemeti mpe Anatoti elongo na bamboka na yango ya mike. Bingumba nyonso oyo epesamelaki kati na bituka na bango ezalaki zomi na misato.

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its suburbs, and Alemeth with its suburbs, as well as Anathoth with its suburbs. All the cities throughout their kindred were thirteen.

61 Bana mosusu ya Keati bazwaki na nzela ya zeke bingumba zomi kati na etuka ya Efrayimi, ya Dani mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase.

Now to the sons of Kohath, those remaining from their kindred, they gave ten cities, from the one half tribe of Manasseh, as a possession;

62 Bana ya Gerishoni, kolanda etuka na bango, bazwaki bingumba zomi na misato kati na libota ya Isakari, ya Aseri, ya Nefitali mpe kati na libota ya Manase oyo ezalaki na Bashani.

and to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe Manasseh in Bashan: thirteen cities.

63 Bana ya Merari, kolanda bituka na bango, bazwaki na nzela ya zeke, bingumba zomi na mibale kati na libota ya Ribeni, ya Gadi mpe ya Zabuloni.

Then to the sons of Merari, according to their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, they gave by lot twelve cities.

64 Boye bana ya Isalaele bapesaki epai ya bana ya Levi, bingumba wana mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

Also, the sons of Israel gave, to the Levites, cities and their suburbs,

65 Bapesaki bango bingumba wana na nzela ya zeke: balongolaki ndambo ya bingumba yango kati na mabota ya Yuda, ya Simeoni mpe ya Benjame; bongo bakomaki kobenga yango na bakombo ya mabota wana.

and they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities, which they called by their names.

And for those who were from the kindred of the sons of Kohath, the cities with their borders were from the tribe of Ephraim.

Then they gave to them the cities of refuge: Shechem with its suburbs on mount Ephraim, and Gezer with its suburbs,

as well as Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth-horon similarly,

69 Ayaloni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Gati-Rimoni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

and indeed Hilen with its suburbs, and Gath Rimmon in the same manner.

70 Mpe kati na etuka ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase, bazwaki: Aneri mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Bileami mpe bamboka na yango ya mike. Bingumba nyonso oyo elongo na bamboka na yango ya mike epesamaki epai ya bituka mosusu ya bana ya Keati.

Then too, out of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its suburbs, Bileam and its suburbs; these in particular went to those who were remaining from the kindred of the sons of Kohath.

from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh and its suburbs, and Daberath with its suburbs,

as well as Ramoth and its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs;

truly, from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon similarly;

as well as Hukkok and its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs;

76 Kati na libota ya Nefitali, bazwaki: Kedeshi kati na Galile mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Amoni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Kiriatayimi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

moreover, from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, Hammon with its suburbs, and Kiriathaim and its suburbs.

Then to the remaining sons of Merari, from the tribe of Zebulun: Rimmono and its suburbs, and Tabor with its suburbs;

and also, across the Jordan opposite Jericho, facing the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs;

79 Kedemoshi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Mefati mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

as well as Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;

80 Kati na libota ya Gadi, bazwaki: Ramoti kati na Galadi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Maanayimi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike,

indeed also, from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs;

81 Eshiboni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Yaezeri mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

then too, Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
