1 Ribeni azalaki mwana mobali ya liboso ya Isalaele. Kasi lokola asangisaki nzoto na mwasi moko kati na basi ya tata na ye, makoki ya bomwana na ye ya liboso epesamaki epai ya bana mibali ya Jozefi, mwana mobali ya Isalaele. Yango wana bazalaki kotanga ye lisusu te lokola mwana ya liboso. Nzokande, Jozefi akomamaki te na buku ya mabota lokola mwana ya liboso.
As to sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel — for he [is] the first-born, and on account of his profaning the couch of his father hath his birthright been given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and [he is] not to be reckoned by genealogy for the birthright,
2 Yuda alekaki bandeko na ye nyonso ya mibali na makasi, mpe moto oyo akomaki mokonzi abimaki na nzela na ye. Kasi atako bongo, makoki ya bomwana ya liboso epesamaki kaka epai ya Jozefi.
for Judah hath been mighty over his brother, and for leader above him, and the birthright [is] to Joseph.
3 Tala bana mibali ya Ribeni, mwana mobali ya liboso ya Isalaele: Enoki, Palu, Etsironi mpe Karimi.
Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4 Bakitani ya Joeli: Shemaya, mwana mobali ya Joeli; Gogi, mwana mobali ya Shemaya; Shimei, mwana mobali ya Gogi;
Sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5 Mishe, mwana mobali ya Shimei; Reaya, mwana mobali ya Mishe; Bala, mwana mobali ya Reaya;
Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
6 Beera, mwana mobali ya Bala mpe mokambi ya bato ya Ribeni, oyo Tigilati-Pilezeri, mokonzi ya Asiri, amemaki na bowumbu.
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur removed; he [is] prince of the Reubenite.
7 Tala bandeko ya Beera kolanda etuka na bango ndenge bakomami na molongo ya botata na bango: mokambi Yeyeli, Zakari;
And his brethren, by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, [are] heads: Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 Bela, mwana mobali ya Azazi, koko ya Shema, mwana mobali ya Joeli. Bazalaki kovanda na mboka Aroeri mpe na etuka oyo ekenda kino na ngomba Nebo mpe na Bala-Meoni.
and Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel — he is dwelling in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baal-Meon;
9 Bavandaki na ngambo ya este, longwa na mondelo ya esobe kino na ebale Efrate, pamba te bangombe na bango ekomaki ebele kati na mokili ya Galadi.
and at the east he dwelt even unto the entering in of the wilderness, even from the river Phrat, for their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 Na tango Saulo azalaki mokonzi, babundisaki bato ya Agari mpe balongaki bango. Bavandaki na bandako na bango ya kapo oyo ezalaki na etuka mobimba ya ngambo ya Galadi.
And in the days of Saul they have made war with the Hagarites, who fall by their hand, and they dwell in their tents over all the face of the east of Gilead.
11 Bakitani ya Gadi bazalaki kovanda pembeni ya bakitani ya Ribeni, na mokili ya Bashani kino na Salika.
And the sons of Gad, over-against them have dwelt in the land of Bashan unto Salcah,
12 Etuka ya Joeli nde elekaki monene, elandamaki na etuka ya Shafami, mpe bituka ya Yaenayi mpe Shafati esukisaki, kati na Bashani.
Joel the head, and Shapham the second, and Jaanai and Shaphat in Bashan;
13 Bandeko na bango ya mibali kolanda mabota na bango bazalaki: Mikaeli, Meshulami, Sheba, Yorayi, Yaekani, Ziya mpe Eberi. Bango nyonso bazalaki sambo.
and their brethren of the house of their fathers [are] Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.
14 Bazalaki bana ya Abiyaili, mwana mobali ya Uri, mwana mobali ya Yaroa, mwana mobali ya Galadi, mwana mobali Mikaeli, mwana mobali ya Yeshishai, mwana mobali ya Yado, mwana mobali ya Buzi.
These [are] sons of Abihail son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz;
15 Ayi, mwana mobali ya Abidieli, mwana mobali ya Guni, azalaki mokambi ya bituka na bango.
Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, [is] head of the house of their fathers;
16 Bango nyonso bazalaki kovanda na Galadi, na Bashani, na bamboka na yango ya zingazinga mpe na bilanga nyonso ya Saroni kino na suka na yango.
and they dwell in Gilead in Bashan, and in her small towns, and in all suburbs of Sharon, upon their outskirts;
17 Batangaki bato nyonso oyo tango Yotami azalaki mokonzi ya Yuda mpe Jeroboami, mokonzi ya Isalaele.
all of them reckoned themselves by genealogy in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 Bakitani ya mabota ya Ribeni, ya Gadi mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase bazalaki bango nyonso nkoto tuku minei na minei na nkama sambo na tuku motoba. Babongamaki mpo na mosala ya soda. Bazalaki bilombe mibali oyo bayebi kosalela nguba, mopanga, tolotolo; mpe bamilengela mpo na bitumba.
Sons of Reuben, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, of sons of valour, men bearing shield and sword, and treading bow, and taught in battle, [are] forty and four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, going out to the host.
19 Babundisaki bato ya Agari, ya Yeturi, ya Nafishi mpe ya Nodabi.
And they make war with the Hagarites, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab,
20 Nzambe asungaki bango mpe apesaki bango elonga likolo ya bato ya Agari mpe baninga na bango nyonso oyo bayaki kosunga bango, pamba te babelelaki Yawe na tango ya bitumba. Yawe ayanolaki bango, pamba te batielaki Ye motema.
and they are helped against them, and the Hagarites are given into their hand, and all who [are] with them, for they cried to God in battle, and He was entreated of them, because they trusted in Him.
21 Bazwaki bibwele ya bato ya Agari: bashamo nkoto tuku mitano, bameme nkoto nkama mibale na tuku mitano, mpe ba-ane nkoto mibale. Bazwaki mpe bakangami nkoto nkama moko:
And they take captive their cattle, of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of human beings a hundred thousand;
22 mingi bakufaki, pamba te bitumba ezalaki na maboko ya Nzambe. Bavandaki na mokili yango kino na tango ya bowumbu.
for many have fallen pierced, for of God [is] the battle; and they dwell in their stead till the removal.
23 Bakitani ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase bavandaki na mokili oyo ezalaki longwa na Bashani kino na Bala-Erimoni, Seniri mpe ngomba Erimoni.
And the sons of the half of the tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Bashan unto Baal-Hermon, and Senir, and mount Hermon, they have multiplied.
24 Tala bakambi ya bituka na bango: Eferi, Yisheyi, Elieli, Azirieli, Jeremi, Odavia mpe Yadiele. Bazalaki bilombe ya bitumba, bato bayebana mpe bakambi ya mabota na bango.
And these [are] heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, men mighty in valour, men of name, heads to the house of their fathers.
25 Kasi lokola batosaki te Nzambe ya bakoko na bango mpe bakomaki kosalela banzambe ya bato ya mokili oyo Nzambe abebisaki liboso na bango.
And they trespass against the God of their fathers, and go a-whoring after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed from their presence;
26 Yango wana Nzambe ya Isalaele alamusaki molimo ya Puli, mokonzi ya Asiri, mpe molimo ya Tigilati-Pilezeri, mokonzi ya Asiri, mpo na komema na bowumbu: bato ya libota ya Ribeni, ya libota ya Gadi mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase. Amemaki bango na Ala, na Abori, na Ara mpe na ngambo ya ebale Gozani, epai wapi bazali kovanda kino lelo.
and stir up doth the God of Israel the spirit of Pul king of Asshur, and the spirit of Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur, and he removeth them — even the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh — and bringeth them in to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and the river of Gozan unto this day.
