1 Tala masanga ya bakengeli bikuke: Mpo na bato ya Kore: Meshelemia, mwana mobali ya Kore, moko kati na bana mibali ya Azafi.
For the divisions of the door-keepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Ebiasaph.
2 Meshelemia azalaki na bana mibali oyo: mwana ya liboso, Zakari; mwana ya mibale, Yediayeli; mwana ya misato, Zebadia; mwana ya minei, Yatinieli;
And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the oldest, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 mwana ya mitano, Elami; mwana ya motoba, Yoanani; mpe mwana ya sambo, Eliowenayi.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
4 Obedi-Edomi mpe azalaki na bana mibali oyo: mwana ya liboso, Shemaya; mwana ya mibale, Yozabadi; mwana ya misato, Yoa; mwana ya minei, Sakari; mwana ya mitano, Netaneeli;
And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the oldest, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
5 mwana ya motoba, Amieli; mwana ya sambo, Isakari; mwana ya mwambe, Pewulitayi; pamba te Nzambe apambolaki Obedi-Edomi.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for the blessing of God was on him.
6 Mwana na ye ya mobali Shemaya azalaki mpe na bana mibali oyo bazalaki bakambi ya libota ya tata na bango, pamba te bazalaki bilombe mibali.
And Shemaiah his son had sons, rulers over the family of their father, for they were able men.
7 Bana mibali ya Shemaya: Otini, Refaeli, Obedi, Elizabadi; mpe bandeko na ye ya mibali oyo bazalaki bilombe, Eliwu mpe Samakia.
The sons of Shemaiah: Othni and Rephael and Obed, Elzabad, whose brothers were great men of war, Elihu and Semachiah.
8 Bango nyonso bazalaki bakitani ya Obedi-Edomi. Bango, bana na bango mpe bandeko na bango ya mibali bazalaki bilombe mpe bato ya mpiko mpo na mosala. Bakitani nyonso ya Obedi-Edomi bazalaki tuku motoba na mibale.
All these were sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brothers, able men and strong for the work; sixty-two sons of Obed-edom.
9 Meshelemia azalaki na bana mibali mpe bandeko mibali oyo bazalaki bilombe: bango nyonso bazalaki zomi na mwambe.
Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, eighteen able men.
10 Osa, moko kati na bana mibali ya Merari, azalaki na bana mibali oyo: Shimiri oyo tata na ye atiaki ye mokonzi atako azalaki mwana ya liboso te;
And Hosah, a son of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (for though he was not the oldest, his father made him chief);
11 Ilikia, mwana ya mibale; Tebalia, mwana ya misato; mpe Zakari, mwana ya minei. Bana mibali mpe bandeko mibali ya Osa bazalaki bango nyonso zomi na misato.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: Hosah had thirteen sons and brothers.
12 Masanga ya bakengeli bikuke ezalaki na mokumba ya kokengela bikuke ya Tempelo ya Yawe, na bokambami ya bakonzi na bango ndenge bandeko na bango bazalaki mpe kosala.
Of these were the divisions of the door-keepers, men of authority, having responsible positions like their brothers to be servants in the house of the Lord.
13 Boye kobanda na leki kino na kulutu, bazalaki kobeta zeke mpo na ekuke moko na moko, kolanda mabota na bango.
And the families were taken by the decision of the Lord for every door; the small family had the same chance as the great.

And the care of the door on the east came out for Shelemiah. Then the name of Zechariah his son, a man wise in discussion, came out, and the door on the north was given to him.
15 Mpo na ekuke ya ngambo ya sude, zeke ekweyaki epai ya Obedi-Edomi; mpe mpo na ndako oyo babombelaka biloko, zeke ekweyaki epai ya bana na ye ya mibali.
To Obed-edom, that on the south; and to his sons, the store-house.
16 Mpo na ekuke ya ngambo ya weste mpe ekuke ya Shaleketi, na nzela oyo emata na likolo, zeke ekweyaki epai ya Shupimi mpe Osa. Tala ndenge bakabolaki masanga ya bakengeli bikuke:

These were the divisions of door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites and of the sons of Merari.
20 Balevi mosusu lokola Ayiya, bazalaki na mokumba ya kobatela bozwi ya Tempelo mpe biloko ya bule.
And the Levites their brothers were responsible for the stores of the house of God and the holy things.
21 Tala bakitani ya Laedani, oyo bazalaki bato ya etuka ya Gerishoni mpe bakambi, moto na moto ya libota na ye: bato ya Yeyeli;
The sons of Ladan: sons of the Gershonites of the family of Ladan, heads of families of Ladan the Gershonite, Jehieli.
22 mpe bana mibali ya Yeyeli: Zetami mpe ndeko na ye ya mobali Joeli. Bazalaki na mokumba ya kobatela bozwi ya Tempelo ya Yawe.

23 Mpo na bakitani ya Amirami, ya Yitseari, ya Ebron mpe ya Uzieli:
Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:
24 Shebueli, mokitani ya Gerishomi, mwana mobali ya Moyize, azalaki mokonzi ya babateli bozwi ya Tempelo.
And Shebuel, the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was controller of the stores.
25 Tala bandeko na ye ya mibali oyo babotamaki na nzela ya Eliezeri: Reabia, Ezayi, Yorami, Zikiri mpe Shelomiti.
And his brothers: of Eliezer, Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Shelomiti elongo na bandeko na ye ya mibali bazalaki na mokumba ya kobatela biloko nyonso oyo mokonzi Davidi abulisaki mpo na Yawe; bakambi ya mabota, bakambi ya bankoto, bakambi ya bankama mpe bakonzi mosusu ya mampinga.
Shelomoth and his brothers were responsible for all the store of holy things which David the king and the heads of families, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and the captains of the army, had given to the Lord.
27 Babulisaki biloko mosusu oyo bazwaki na bitumba mpo na kobongisa Tempelo ya Yawe.

28 Shelomiti mpe bandeko na ye ya mibali bazalaki na mokumba ya kobatela biloko nyonso oyo Samuele, momoni makambo; Saulo, mwana mobali ya Kishi; Abineri, mwana mobali ya Neri; Joabi oyo kombo ya mama na ye ezalaki « Tseruya, » babulisaki mpo na Yawe.
And everything Samuel the prophet and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, had made holy; whatever anyone had given, it was under the care of Shelomoth and his brothers.

30 Mpo na bakitani ya Ebron: Ashabia mpe bandeko na ye ya mibali, bilombe mibali nkoto moko na nkama sambo. Bazalaki kokamba Isalaele na ngambo ya weste ya Yordani; mpe bazalaki na mokumba ya misala nyonso ya Yawe mpe ya mokonzi.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, seventeen hundred able men, were overseers of Israel on the other side of the Jordan, to the west, being responsible for all the work of the Lord's house and for the work done by the king's servants.
