1 Sima na yango, Davidi alongaki bato ya Filisitia mpe abukaki lolendo na bango. Abotolaki na maboko ya bato ya Filisitia engumba Gati elongo na bamboka na yango ya zingazinga.
And it came to pass after this, that David defeated the Philistines, and humbled them, and took away Geth, and her daughters out of the hands of the Philistines,
2 Davidi alongaki lisusu bato ya Moabi. Bato ya Moabi bakomaki bawumbu ya Davidi mpe bakomaki kofuta mpako ya mokonzi.
And he defeated Moab, and the Moabites were made David’s servants, and brought him gifts.
3 Davidi alongaki lisusu Adadezeri, mokonzi ya Tsoba, na engumba Amati, tango Adadezeri akendeki kovandisa bokonzi na ye pembeni ya ebale Efrate.
At that time David defeated also Adarezer king of Soba of the land of Hemath, when he went to extend his dominions as far as the river Euphrates.
4 Davidi abotolaki Adadezeri bashar nkoto moko, akangaki basoda nkoto sambo oyo babundaka bitumba likolo ya bampunda mpe basoda nkoto tuku mibale oyo babundaka bitumba na makolo; akataki misisa ya makolo ya bampunda nyonso, kasi atikaki kaka bampunda nkama moko oyo ezalaki kobenda bashario.
And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen, and he houghed all the chariot horses, only a hundred chariots, which he reserved for himself.
5 Tango bato ya Siri oyo bazalaki kovanda na engumba Damasi bayaki kosunga Adadezeri, mokonzi ya Tsoba, Davidi abomaki kati na bango bato nkoto tuku mibale.
And the Syrians of Damascus came also to help Adarezer king of Soba: and David slew of them likewise two and twenty thousand men.
6 Bongo Davidi atiaki bayangeli na ye kati na engumba Damasi ya Siri; boye bato ya Siri bakomaki na se ya bokonzi ya Davidi mpe bakomaki kofuta mpako epai na ye. Yawe azalaki kopesa Davidi elonga na bisika nyonso oyo azalaki kokende.
And he put a garrison in Damascus, that Syria also should serve him, and bring gifts. And the Lord assisted him in all things to which he went.
7 Davidi abotolaki banguba ya wolo oyo bakonzi ya basoda ya Adadezeri bazalaki na yango mpe amemaki yango na Yelusalemi.
And David took the golden quivers which the servants of Adarezer had, and he brought them to Jerusalem.
8 Na Tibati mpe na Kuni, bingumba ya mokonzi Adadezeri, Davidi azwaki bronze ebele oyo, na mikolo oyo elandaki, Salomo asalaki na yango nzungu ya monene, makonzi mpe bisalelo mosusu ya bronze.
Likewise out of Thebath and Chun, cities of Adarezer, he brought very much brass, of which Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
9 Tango Towu, mokonzi ya Amati, ayokaki ete Davidi alongi mampinga nyonso ya Adadezeri, mokonzi ya Tsoba,
Now when Thou king of Hemath heard that David had defeated all the army of Adarezer king of Soba,
10 atindaki Adorami, mwana na ye ya mobali, kopesa mokonzi Davidi mbote mpe longonya mpo ete abundisaki mpe alongaki Adadezeri oyo azalaki monguna ya Towu. Adorami amemelaki Davidi lolenge nyonso ya biloko ya wolo, ya palata mpe ya bronze.
He sent Adoram his son to king David, to desire peace of him, and to congratulate him that he had defeated and overthrown Adarezer: for Thou was an enemy to Adarezer.
11 Mokonzi Davidi abulisaki biloko yango epai na Yawe, ndenge asalaki na wolo mpe palata oyo azwaki na bikolo nyonso, na Edomi, na Moabi, na Amoni, na Filisitia mpe na Amaleki.
And all the vessels of gold, and silver, and brass king David consecrated to the Lord, with the silver and gold which he had taken from all the nations, as well from Edom, and from Moab, and from the sons of Ammon, as from the Philistines, and from Amalec.
12 Abishayi, mwana mobali ya Tseruya, abomaki bato ya Edomi nkoto zomi na mwambe, kati na Lubwaku ya Mungwa.
And Abisai the son of Sarvia slew of the Edomites in the vale of the saltpits, eighteen thousand:
13 Davidi atiaki bayangeli kati na Edomi, mpe bato nyonso ya Edomi bakomaki bawumbu ya Davidi. Yawe apesaki Davidi elonga na bisika nyonso oyo azalaki kokende.
And he put a garrison in Edom, that Edom should serve David: and the Lord preserved David in all things to which he went.
14 Davidi azalaki mokonzi ya Isalaele mobimba, mpe azalaki kosalela bato na ye nyonso makambo ya sembo mpe ya alima.
So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.
15 Joabi, mwana mobali ya Tseruya, azalaki mokonzi ya liboso ya mampinga; Jozafati, mwana mobali ya Ayiludi, azalaki mobombi mikanda;
And Joab the son of Sarvia was over the army, and Josaphat the son of Ahilud recorder.
16 Tsadoki, mwana mobali ya Ayitubi, mpe Abimeleki, mwana mobali ya Abiatari, bazalaki Banganga-Nzambe; Shavisha azalaki mokomi mikanda;
And Sadoc the son of Achitob, and Achimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests: and Susa, scribe.
17 Benaya, mwana mobali ya Yeoyada, azalaki kokamba bato ya Kereti mpe ya Peleti; mpe bana mibali ya Davidi bazalaki bakalaka ya liboso pembeni ya mokonzi.
And Banaias the son of Joiada was over the bands of the Cerethi, and the Phelethi: and the sons of David were chief about the king.
