< Psalmi 85 >

1 Koraha bērnu dziesma, dziedātāju vadonim. Tu, ak Kungs, Savai zemei lēnīgs bijis un Jēkaba cietumu novērsis,
To the Chief Musician. For the Sons of Korah. A Melody. Thou hast accepted, O Yahweh, thy land, Thou hast brought back the captives of Jacob;
2 Tu Savu ļaužu noziegumu esi piedevis, visus viņu grēkus apklājis; (Sela)
Thou hast taken away, the iniquity of thy people, Thou hast covered, all their sin. (Selah)
3 Tu visu Savu dusmību atņēmis, no Savas karstās bardzības atstājies:
Thou hast withdrawn all thine indignation, Thou hast ceased from the glow of thine anger.
4 Atved mūs atpakaļ, ak Dievs, mūsu Pestītājs, un lai Tava dusmība pret mums mitās.
Restore us, O God of our salvation, And take away thy vexation towards us.
5 Vai tad Tu mūžīgi pret mums gribi dusmoties un Tavu bardzību turēt uz bērnu bērniem?
To times age-abiding, wilt thou be angry with us? Wilt thou prolong thine anger, from generation to generation?
6 Vai tad Tu negribi mūs atkal atspirdzināt, ka Tavi ļaudis iekš Tevis var priecāties?
Wilt not, thou thyself, again give us life, That, thy people, may rejoice in thee.
7 Parādi mums, Kungs, Tavu žēlastību un dod mums Tavu pestīšanu.
Show us, O Yahweh, thy lovingkindness, And, thy salvation, wilt thou grant us.
8 Es klausīšu, ko Tas Kungs, tas stiprais Dievs, runā, jo Viņš sola mieru Saviem ļaudīm un Saviem svētiem, lai tie negriežās uz ģeķību.
I will hear, what GOD—Yahweh—will speak, —For he will bespeak prosperity to his people, And to his men of lovingkindness, And to them who return with their heart unto him.
9 Tiešām, Viņa palīdzība ir tuvu klāt tiem, kas Viņu bīstas, ka mūsu zemē gods mājo,
Surely, near unto them who revere him, is his salvation, That the Glory, may settle down, in our land.
10 Ka žēlastība un uzticība sastopas, ka taisnība un miers skūpstās,
Lovingkindness and faithfulness, have met together, Righteousness and prosperity, have kissed each other;
11 Ka patiesība no zemes izaug un taisnība no debesīm skatās.
Faithfulness, out of the earth, doth spring forth, And, righteousness, out of the heavens, hath looked down.
12 Un Tas Kungs dos labumu un mūsu zeme dos savus augļus.
Yahweh himself too, will give us the blessing, And, our land, shall yield her increase.
13 Taisnība staigās Viņa priekšā un ņemsies Viņa pēdas par ceļu.
Righteousness, before him, shall march long, —That he may make, into a way, the steps of its feet.
