< Psalmi 7 >

1 Dāvida dziesma, ko viņš Tam Kungam dziedāja, par Benjaminieti Kušu. Kungs, mans Dievs, uz Tevi es paļaujos, atpestī mani no visiem maniem vajātājiem un izglābi mani,
Shiggaion of David, which he sang to the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjaminite. O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2 Ka tas manu dvēseli nelaupa kā lauva, to saplosīdams, tādēļ ka glābēja nav.
Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending [it] in pieces, while [there is] none to deliver.
3 Kungs, mans Dievs, ja to esmu darījis, ja netaisnība ir manās rokās,
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there is iniquity in my hands;
If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (yes, I have delivered him that without cause is my enemy: )
(Sela)
Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take [it]; yes, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. (Selah)
6 Celies, ak Kungs, Savā dusmībā, stājies pretī manu spaidītāju bardzībai, uzmosties manis labad; Tu tiesu turēsi.
Arise, O LORD, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me [to] the judgment [that] thou hast commanded.
7 Tautu pulks lai metās ap Tevi, bet Tu pār to atkal pacelies augstībā.
So shall the congregation of the people encompass thee: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8 Tas Kungs nesīs tiesu tām tautām; tiesā mani, Kungs, pēc manas taisnības un manas bezvainības.
The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity [that is] in me.
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10 Manas priekšturamās bruņas ir Dieva rokā, Viņš palīdz tiem sirds taisniem.
My defense [is] from God, who saveth the upright in heart.
God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day.
12 Ja kas negrib atgriezties, tad viņš savu zobenu trinis, savu stopu uzvilcis un sataisījis,
If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13 Un priekš tā nāvīgus ieročus salicis, savas bultas darījis degošas.
He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
He made a pit, and digged it, and hath fallen into the ditch [which] he made.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17 Es slavēšu To Kungu Viņa taisnības dēļ, un dziedāšu Tā Kunga, tā Visaugstākā, Vārdam.
I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
