< Psalmi 66 >
1 Dziesma dziedātāju vadonim. Gavilējiet Dievam, visa zeme!
For the chief musician. A song, a psalm. Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth;
2 Dziediet Viņa vārda godībai, teiciet Viņa godu.
Sing out the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.
3 Sakait uz Dievu: kāds bijājams Tu esi Savos darbos! Tavi ienaidnieki Tev padosies Tavas lielās varas pēc.
Say to God, “How terrifying are your deeds! By the greatness of your power your enemies will submit to you.
(Sela)
All the earth will worship you and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” (Selah)
5 Nāciet un raugāt Dieva darbus. Viņš ir bijājams Savos darbos pie cilvēku bērniem.
Come and see the works of God; he is fearsome in his deeds toward the sons of mankind.
6 Viņš pārvērta jūru par sausumu, kājām varēja iet caur upi; par to mēs iekš Viņa priecājamies.
He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there we rejoiced in him.
7 Viņš valda mūžīgi ar Savu spēku, Viņa acis raugās uz tautām, Viņš atkāpējiem neļauj paaugstināties. (Sela)
He rules forever by his might; his eyes observe the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
8 Teiciet mūsu Dievu, jūs tautas, liekat dzirdēt Viņa teikšanas slavu.
Give blessing to God, you people, let the sound of his praise be heard.
9 Viņš uztur dzīvas mūsu dvēseles un neliek slīdēt mūsu kājām.
He keeps us among the living, and he does not permit our feet to slip.
For you, God, have tested us; you have tested us as silver is tested.
11 Tu mums esi licis iekrist valgos, uz mūsu muguru Tu esi licis grūtu nastu.
You brought us into a net; you laid a heavy burden on our backs.
12 Tu cilvēkiem esi licis celties pār mūsu galvu; mēs bijām nākuši ugunī un ūdenī, bet Tu mūs esi izvedis pie atspirgšanas.
You made people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us out into a spacious place.
13 Es iešu Tavā namā ar dedzināmiem upuriem, es Tev maksāšu savu apsolījumu,
I will come into your house with burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows
which my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in distress.
15 Es tev upurēšu taukus dedzināmos upurus ar kvēpināšanu no auniem; es Tev upurēšu vēršus ar āžiem. (Sela)
I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals with the sweet aroma of rams; I will offer bulls and goats. (Selah)
16 Nāciet, klausāties visi, kas Dievu bīstaties: es jums izteikšu, ko Viņš darījis pie manas dvēseles.
Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will declare what he has done for my soul.
I cried to him with my mouth, and he was praised with my tongue.
18 Ja es netaisnību atrastu savā sirdī, tad Tas Kungs mani nebūtu klausījis.
If I had seen sin within my heart, the Lord would not have listened to me.
But God has truly heard; he has paid attention to the voice of my prayer.
20 Slavēts Dievs, kas nav atmetis manu lūgšanu, nedz novērsis Savu žēlastību no manis.
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer or his covenant faithfulness from me.
