Psalmi 61

1 Dāvida dziesma. Dziedātāju vadonim, uz koklēm. Klausi, ak Dievs, manu saukšanu, ņem vērā manu lūgšanu.

For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.

2 No zemes gala es Tevi piesaucu, kad mana sirds bēdājās; vadi Tu mani uz akmens kalnu, jo man tas par augstu.

From the ends of the earth I call out to You whenever my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 Jo Tu man esi patvērums, stiprs tornis pret maniem ienaidniekiem.

For You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy.

4 Es palikšu Tavā dzīvoklī mūžīgi, es patveršos Tavu spārnu pavēnī. (Sela)

Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings.

5 Jo Tu, Dievs, esi klausījis manas solīšanas, Tu devis mantību tiem, kas Tavu Vārdu bīstas.

For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the inheritance reserved for those who fear Your name.

6 Tu vairosi ķēniņam dzīvības laiku; viņa gadi paliks līdz radu radiem.

Increase the days of the king’s life; may his years span many generations.

7 Viņš sēdēs mūžīgi Dieva priekšā; parādi viņam žēlastību un patiesību, kas viņu pasargā.

May he sit enthroned in God’s presence forever; appoint Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness to guard him.

8 Tad es dziedāšu Tavam Vārdam mūžīgi, lai es maksāju savus solījumus dienu no dienas.

Then I will ever sing praise to Your name and fulfill my vows day by day.
