< Psalmi 5 >

1 Dāvida dziesma. Dziedātāju vadonim uz stabulēm. Ak Kungs, klausies uz maniem vārdiem, ņem vērā manas domas.
For the end, a Psalm of David, concerning her that inherits. Listen to my words, O Lord, attend to my cry.
2 Samani manas kliegšanas balsi, mans ķēniņ un mans Dievs, jo es Tevi gribu pielūgt.
Attend to the voice of my supplication, my King, and my God: for to you, O Lord, will I pray.
3 Rītos, ak Kungs, klausi manu balsi, rītos es uz Tevi gribu sataisīties un skatīties.
In the morning you shall hear my voice: in the morning will I wait upon you, and will look up.
4 Jo Tu neesi tāds Dievs, kam bezdievība patīk; kas ir ļauns, tas pie Tevis nepaliek.
For you are not a god that desires iniquity; neither shall the worker of wickedness dwell with you.
5 Trakotāji nepastāvēs priekš Tavām acīm, Tu ienīsti visus ļauna darītājus.
Neither shall the transgressors continue in your sight: you hate, O Lord, all them that work iniquity.
6 Tu nomaitā melkuļus, asins vainīgie un viltnieki Tam Kungam ir negantība.
You will destroy all that speak falsehood: the Lord abhors the bloody and deceitful man.
7 Bet es iešu Tavā namā caur Tavu lielo žēlastību, es pielūgšu Tava svētuma mājoklī, Tevi bīdamies.
But I will enter into your house in the multitude of your mercy: I will worship in your fear towards your holy temple.
8 Kungs, vadi mani pēc Savas taisnības, manu glūnētāju dēļ, dari līdzenu Savu ceļu manā priekšā.
Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of mine enemies; make my way plain before your face.
9 Jo viņu mutē nav nekādas patiesības, viņu sirdīs ir ļaunums, viņu rīkle ir atvērts kaps, ar savu mēli tie glauda.
For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain; their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit.
10 Sodi tos, ak Dievs, lai tie krīt no saviem padomiem; atstum tos viņu lielos noziegumos, jo tie pret Tevi sacēlušies,
Judge them, O God; let them fail of their counsels: cast them out according to the abundance of their ungodliness; for they have provoked you, O Lord.
11 Bet lai priecājās visi, kas uz Tevi cerē, mūžīgi lai tie gavilē, jo Tu tos pasargi; lai līksmojās iekš Tevis, kas Tavu vārdu mīļo.
But let all that trust on you be glad in you: they shall exult for ever, and you shall dwell amongst them; and all that love your name shall rejoice in you.
12 Jo Tu, Kungs, svētīsi to taisno, un to pušķosi ar žēlastību kā ar bruņām.
For you, Lord, shall bless the righteous: you have compassed us as with a shield of favour.
