< Psalmi 41 >
1 Dāvida dziesma. Dziedātāju vadonim. Svētīgs tas, kas nabagu apgādā; to Tas Kungs izglābs ļaunā dienā.
To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. How happy is he that is attentive to the poor, In the day of calamity, will Yahweh deliver him:
2 Tas Kungs to pasargās un uzturēs pie dzīvības, Viņš tam liks labi klāties virs zemes un to nenodos viņa ienaidnieku prātam.
Yahweh, will preserve him and keep him alive, And he shall be pronounced happy in the land, Do not then give him up at the desire of his enemies!
3 Tas Kungs to atspirdzinās uz neveselības gultas; Tu viņam palīdzēsi guļā no visas viņa sērgas.
Yahweh, will sustain him upon the bed of sickness, All his couch, hast thou transformed in his disease.
4 Es sacīju: ak Kungs, esi man žēlīgs, dziedini manu dvēseli, jo es pret Tevi esmu grēkojis.
I, said—O Yahweh, show me favour, heal thou my soul, for I have sinned against thee:
5 Mani ienaidnieki runā ļaunu no manis: kad viņš nomirs un viņa vārds ies bojā?
Mine enemies, speak ill of me, When will he die, and his name perish?
6 Un kad tie nāk, mani apraudzīt, tad tie viltu runā; ar savu sirdi tie sameklē niekus, iziet ārā un izplukšķ.
And, if he have come to see me, Falsehood, doth he speak, His own heart, gathereth iniquity to itself, he goeth forth, abroad he telleth it.
7 Visi, kas mani ienīst, musina kopā pret mani, un domā ļaunu pret mani.
Together—against me, do all who hate me whisper among themselves, Against me, devise they hurt for me.
8 Blēņu darbu tie apņēmušies savā prātā: kad tas guļ, tad viņš vairs necelsies!
An infliction of the Abandoned One hath been fixed upon him, and, now that he hath lien down, he will not again rise.
9 Un pat mans draugs, kam es uzticējos, kas manu maizi ēda, mani min pa kājām.
Even the man whom I used to salute, in whom I put confidence, who used to eat my bread, —hath magnified his heel against me!
10 Bet Tu, ak Kungs, esi man žēlīgs, un uzcel mani, tad es tiem to maksāšu!
But, thou, O Yahweh, show me favour and raise me up, That I may repay them.
11 Pie tam es zinu, ka Tev labs prāts pie manis, ka mans ienaidnieks par mani negavilēs.
Hereby, do I know that thou delightest in me, In that mine enemy shall not raise a shout over me.
12 Bet Tu mani uzturi manā nenoziedzībā, un mani iecel Savā priekšā mūžīgi.
But, as for me, In my blamelessness, hast thou held me fast, And hast caused me to stand before thee unto times age-abiding.
13 Slavēts lai ir Tas Kungs, Israēla Dievs, mūžīgi mūžam! Āmen, Āmen.
Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, From the age that is past, even unto the age yet to come: Amen and Amen!
