< Psalmi 30 >
1 Dziesma pie Dāvida nama iesvētīšanas. Es Tevi augsti teikšu, Kungs, jo Tu mani augsti esi cēlis, un maniem ienaidniekiem neesi ļāvis priecāties par mani.
A psalm of David. A song for the dedication of the Temple. I will extol you, O Lord, because you have lifted me up, and not suffered my foes to rejoice over me.
2 Kungs, mans Dievs, kad es Tevi piesaucu, tad Tu mani dziedināji.
I cried to you for help, O Lord my God, and you healed me.
3 Kungs, Tu manu dvēseli esi izvedis no elles, Tu mani dzīvu esi uzturējis, ka neesmu nogrimis kapā. (Sheol )
You have brought me up, Lord, from Sheol, from my way to the pit back to life you have called me. (Sheol )
4 Dziedājiet Tam Kungam, jūs Viņa svētie, un teiciet Viņa svēto piemiņu.
Sing praise to the Lord, faithful people; give thanks to his holy name.
5 Jo Viņa dusmība pastāv acumirkli, Viņa žēlastība cauru mūžu: vakarā nāk raudāšana, bet rītā prieks.
For his anger lasts only a moment, his favor endures for a lifetime. Weeping may lodge for the night, but the morning brings shouts of joy.
6 Es gan sacīju, kad man labi klājās: es nešaubīšos ne mūžam,
When all went well, I imagined that never should I be shaken.
7 Jo, Kungs, caur Tavu labprātību Tu manu kalnu esi darījis pastāvīgu; bet kad Tu Savu vaigu paslēpi, tad es iztrūcinājos.
For by your favor, O Lord, you had set me on mountains strong: but you hide your face, and I was confounded.
8 Tevi es piesaucu, Kungs, un pielūdzu Tevi, ak Kungs no sirds.
Then to you, Lord, I cried, to the Lord I begged for mercy,
9 Kāds labums atlec no manām asinīm, kad es būšu kapā grimis? Vai pīšļi Tevi slavēs? Vai tie sludinās Tavu patiesību?
“What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit? Can you be praised by dust? Can it tell of your faithfulness?
10 Klausi, Kungs, un apžēlojies par mani: Kungs, esi man par palīgu!
Hear, Lord, and show me your favor, Lord be a helper to me.”
11 Manas žēlabas Tu esi pārvērtis par līksmību, Tu man to maisu esi novilcis un mani apjozis ar prieku.
You have turned my mourning to dancing; my sackcloth you have unloosed, and clothed me with joy:
12 Tāpēc Tev dziedās mans gods un nestāvēs klusu; Kungs, mans Dievs, es Tev pateikšos mūžīgi.
that unceasingly I should sing your praise, and give thanks to you, Lord my God, forever.
