Psalmi 146

1 Alleluja! Slavē To Kungu, mana dvēsele.

My soul, praise the Lord.

2 Es slavēšu To Kungu, kamēr dzīvošu, es dziedāšu savam Dievam, kamēr vēl še būšu.

I will praise the Lord, while I live; I will sing to my God, while I am.

3 Nepaļaujaties uz lieliem kungiem, uz cilvēku bērniem, kas nekā nevar palīdzēt.

Put not your trust in princes mortals, in whom is no help.

4 Cilvēka garam jāiziet, viņam jāpaliek atkal zemes kārtā, tai dienā visi viņa nodomi iet bojā.

When their breath goes out, they go back to the dust: on that very day their purposes perish.

5 Svētīgs tas, kam Jēkaba Dievs par palīgu un kam cerība stāv uz To Kungu, savu Dievu!

Happy those whose help is the God of Jacob: whose hope is set on the Lord their God,

6 Viņš debesis un zemi radījis, jūru un visu, kas tur iekšā; Viņš uzticību tur mūžīgi.

the Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them. He remains eternally loyal.

7 Viņš tiesu nes tiem, kas varas darbus cieš, dod maizi izsalkušiem. Tas Kungs atsvabina cietumniekus.

For the wronged he executes justice; he gives bread to the hungry; the Lord releases the prisoners.

8 Tas Kungs atdara akliem acis, Tas Kungs uzceļ nospiestus; Tas Kungs mīļo taisnus.

The Lord gives sight to the blind: the Lord raises those who are bowed. The Lord loves the righteous.

9 Tas Kungs pasargā svešiniekus un bāriņus un uztur atraitnes, bet bezdievīgiem Viņš ceļus samaitā.

The Lord preserves the stranger, upholds the widow and orphan, but the wicked he leads to disaster.

10 Tas Kungs valdīs mūžīgi, tavs Dievs, ak Ciāna, līdz radu radiem. Alleluja!

The Lord shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Hallelujah.
