< Psalmi 142 >
1 Dāvida pamācība; lūgšana, kad viņš bija alā. Es piesaucu To Kungu ar savu balsi, es lūdzu To Kungu ar savu balsi.
[A Psalm] of instruction for David, when he was in the cave, —a Prayer. I cried to the Lord with my voice; with my voice I made supplication to the Lord.
2 Es izgāžu savu žēlošanos Viņa priekšā, es izstāstu Viņa priekšā savas bēdas.
I will pour out before him my supplication: I will declare before him mine affliction.
3 Kad mans gars iztrūcināts, tad Tu zini manu ceļu; tie man liek valgus ceļā, kur es eju.
When my spirit was fainting within me, then thou knewest my paths; in the very way wherein I was walking, they hid a snare for me.
4 Skaties pa labo roku un redzi, tur nav neviena, kas mani grib pazīt: es nekur nevaru izbēgt, neviens nebēdā par manu dvēseli.
I looked on [my] right hand, and behold, for there was none that noticed me; refuge failed me; and there was none that cared for my soul.
5 Tevi es piesaucu, Kungs; es saku: Tu esi mana cerība, mana daļa dzīvo zemē.
I cried unto thee, O Lord, and said, Thou art my hope, my portion in the land of the living.
6 Ņem vērā manu kliegšanu, jo es esmu ļoti nonīcis; izglāb mani no maniem vajātājiem, jo tie man ir visai vareni.
Attend to my supplication, for I am brought very low; deliver me from them that persecute me; for they are stronger than I.
7 Izved manu dvēseli no cietuma, ka es pateicos Tavam vārdam; par mani gavilēs taisnie, kad Tu man labu darīsi.
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to thy name, O Lord; the righteous shall wait for me, until thou recompense me.
