< Psalmi 141 >

1 Dāvida dziesma. Kungs, Tevi es piesaucu, steidzies pie manis, klausies uz manu balsi, kad es Tevi piesaucu.
A Psalm of David. LORD, I cry to thee: make haste to me; give ear to my voice, when I cry to thee.
2 Lai mana lūgšana Tavā priekšā top cienīta kā kvēpināmais upuris, manu roku pacelšana kā vakara upuris.
Let my prayer be set forth before thee [as] incense; [and] the lifting up of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice.
3 Kungs, sargi manu muti un pasargi manas lūpas.
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
4 Nedod manai sirdij griezties uz ļaunu, bezdievīgu darbu darīt ar ļaundarītājiem, ka nebaudu no viņu kārumiem.
Incline not my heart to [any] evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 Lai taisnais mani sit, tā būs žēlastība, un lai viņš mani pārmāca, tā būs eļļa uz manu galvu, tam lai mana galva neliedzās; bet es vienmēr lūdzu pret viņu ļauniem darbiem.
Let the righteous smite me; [it shall be] a kindness: and let him reprove me; [it shall be] an excellent oil, [which] shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also [shall be] in their calamities.
6 No akmens kalniem viņu soģi lai top nogāzti; tad dzirdēs manus vārdus, ka tie mīlīgi.
When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
7 Kā zemi uzplēš un uzar, tā mūsu kauli ir izkaisīti līdz pašam kapam. (Sheol h7585)
Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earth. (Sheol h7585)
8 Bet uz Tevi, Kungs, Dievs, manas acis raugās, uz Tevi paļaujos, neatstum manu dvēseli.
But my eyes [are] to thee, O GOD the LORD: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
9 Pasargi mani no tā valga, ko tie man ir izmetuši, un no ļauna darītāju slazdiem.
Keep me from the snare [which] they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Bezdievīgie kritīs savos tīklos, kamēr es iešu garām.
Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst I escape.
