< Psalmi 139 >
1 Dāvida dziesma, dziedātāju vadonim. Kungs, Tu mani pārmani un pazīsti.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2 Tu zini manu sēdēšanu un celšanos, Tu noproti manas domas no tālienes.
Thou knowest my downsitting and my uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou dost scrutinize my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 Jo nav ne vārda uz manas mēles; redzi, Kungs, to visu Tu zini.
For there is not a word on my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Tu meties ap mani pakaļā un priekšā un turi Savu roku pār mani.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.
6 Šī atzīšana man ir visai brīnišķa un augsta, es to nevaru izprast.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain to it.
7 Kur man būs aiziet no Tava Gara, un kur man būs bēgt no Tava vaiga?
Where shall I go from thy spirit? or where shall I flee from thy presence?
8 Ja es kāptu debesīs, tad Tu tur esi; ja es nogultos ellē, redzi, Tu tur arīdzan esi. (Sheol )
If I ascend into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. (Sheol )
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13 Jo Tu esi radījis manas īkstis, Tu mani esi apsedzis manas mātes miesās.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 Es Tev pateicos, ka es ļoti brīnišķi esmu darīts, brīnišķi ir Tavi darbi, un mana dvēsele to it labi zin.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul well knoweth
15 Mani kauli Tev nebija apslēpti, kad es slepenībā tapu darīts, kad es tapu iztaisīts zemes dziļumos.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and skilfully formed in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Tavas acis redzēja mani, vēl neiztaisītu pīti(miesas iedīgli), un visas nākamās dienas bija rakstītas Tavā grāmatā, kad vēl nebija nevienas.
Thy eyes saw my substance, not yet formed; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 Cik dārgas man ir Tavas domas, ak Dievs! Cik liels ir viņu skaits!
How precious also are thy thoughts to me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 Kad tās jāskaita, tad viņu vairāk nekā smiltis. Es uzmostos un vēl esmu pie Tevis.
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 Ak Dievs, kaut Tu bezdievīgo nokautu, un kaut asinsvainīgie no manis atstātos.
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
For they speak against thee wickedly, and thy enemies take thy name in vain.
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 Ienīdēt es tos ienīstu, tie man ir ienaidnieki.
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them my enemies.
23 Pārbaudi mani, ak Dievs, un atzīsti manu sirdi, izmeklē mani un atzīsti manas domas,
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 Un redzi, vai es esmu negantā ceļā, un vadi mani uz mūžīgu ceļu.
And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
