< Psalmi 130 >
1 Svētku dziesma. No dziļumiem es Tevi piesaucu, Kungs.
Yahweh, I have a lot of troubles/many difficulties, so I call out to you.
2 Ak Kungs, klausi manu balsi, lai Tavas ausis uzmana uz manas sirds lūgšanas balsi.
Yahweh, hear me, while I call out to you [SYN] to be merciful to me!
3 Ja Tu, Kungs, gribi noziegumus pielīdzināt, - ak Kungs, kas pastāvēs?
Yahweh, if you kept a record of the sins [that we have committed], not one [of us] [RHQ] would escape from being condemned [and punished]
4 Bet pie Tevis ir piedošana, lai Tevi bīstas.
But you forgive us, with the result that we greatly revere you.
5 Es gaidu uz To Kungu, mana dvēsele gaida, un es ceru uz Viņa vārdu.
Yahweh has said [that he would help/rescue me]; I trust what he said, and I wait eagerly for him to do that.
6 Mana dvēsele gaida uz To Kungu vairāk nekā uz rīta gaismu sargi, kas rītu gaida.
I wait for Yahweh [to help me] more than watchmen wait for the light to dawn; yes, I wait more eagerly than they do!
7 Israēls lai cerē uz To Kungu, jo pie Tā Kunga ir žēlastība un daudz pestīšanas pie Viņa.
You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will bless us]. [He will bless us] because he faithfully loves [us], and he is very willing to save/rescue [us].
8 Un Viņš atpestīs Israēli no visiem viņa noziegumiem.
And he will save us Israeli [people] from [being punished for] all the sins that [we] have committed.
