< Psalmi 128 >

1 Svētku dziesma. Svētīgs ikviens, kas To Kungu bīstas un staigā viņa ceļos.
A Canticle in steps. Blessed are all those who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways.
2 Tu mitināsies no savu roku darba; svētīgs tu esi, tev labi klājās.
For you will eat by the labors of your hands. Blessed are you, and it will be well with you.
3 Tava sieva būs kā auglīgs vīna koks ap tavu namu, tavi bērni kā eļļas zari ap tavu galdu.
Your wife is like an abundant vine on the sides of your house. Your sons are like young olive trees surrounding your table.
4 Redzi, tā ir svētīts tas vīrs, kas To Kungu bīstas.
Behold, so will the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
5 Tas Kungs lai tevi svētī no Ciānas, ka tu redzi Jeruzālemes labumu visas savas mūža dienas,
May the Lord bless you from Zion, and may you see the good things of Jerusalem, all the days of your life.
6 Un redzi savu bērnu bērnus: Miers lai ir pār Israēli.
And may you see the sons of your sons. Peace be upon Israel.
