< Psalmi 119 >

1 Svētīgi tie, kas nenoziedzīgi savos ceļos, kas staigā Tā Kunga bauslībā.
Alleluia. Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Svētīgi tie, kas Viņa liecības tur, kas no visas sirds Viņu meklē,
Blessed are they that search out his testimonies: they will diligently seek him with the whole heart.
3 Netaisnību nedara, bet staigā pa Viņa ceļiem.
For they that work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Tu esi pavēlējis, Tavus baušļus cieti sargāt.
You have commanded [us] diligently to keep your precepts.
5 Kaut mani ceļi uz to vien dzītos, Tavus likumus sargāt.
O that my ways were directed to keep your ordinances.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all your commandments.
I will give you thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learned the judgments of your righteousness.
8 Es turēšu Tavus likumus; neatstāj mani pavisam.
I will keep your ordinances: O forsake me not greatly.
9 Kā jauneklis savu ceļu turēs šķīstu? Kad viņš turas pēc Taviem vārdiem.
Wherewith shall a young man direct his way? by keeping your words.
10 Es Tevi meklēju no visas sirds; neliec man nomaldīties no Taviem baušļiem.
With my whole heart have I diligently sought you: cast me not away from your commandments.
11 Es paturu Tavus vārdus savā sirdī, ka negrēkoju pret Tevi.
I have hidden your oracles in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
12 Slavēts esi Tu, Kungs; māci man Tavus likumus.
Blessed are you, O Lord: teach me your ordinances.
13 Ar savām lūpām es izteikšu visas Tavas mutes tiesas.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of your mouth.
I have delighted in the way of your testimonies, [as much] as in all riches.
I will meditate on your commandments, and consider your ways.
16 Es priecājos par Taviem likumiem; Tavu vārdu es neaizmirstu.
I will meditate on your ordinances: I will not forget your words.
Render a recompense to your servant: [so] shall I live, and keep your words.
18 Atdari manas acis, ka es uzlūkoju Tavas bauslības brīnumus.
Unveil you mine eyes, and I shall perceive wondrous things of your law.
19 Es esmu svešinieks virs zemes; neapslēp priekš manis Tavus baušļus.
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not your commandments from me.
My soul has longed exceedingly for your judgments at all times.
21 Tu rāji pārgalvjus, tos nolādētos, kas no Taviem baušļiem nomaldās.
You have rebuked the proud: cursed are they that turn aside from your commandments.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have sought out your testimonies.
For princes sat and spoke against me: but your servant was meditating on your ordinances.
24 Tavas liecības ir mans prieks un padoms.
For your testimonies are my (meditation) and your ordinances are my counselors.
25 Mana dvēsele līp pie pīšļiem; dari man dzīvu pēc Tava Vārda.
My soul has cleaved to the ground; quicken you me according to your word.
26 Es izteicu savus ceļus, un Tu mani paklausi; māci man Tavus likumus.
I declared my ways, and you did hear me: teach me your ordinances.
27 Liec man saprast Tavu likumu ceļus, ka es varu pārdomāt Tavus brīnumus.
Instruct me in the way of your ordinances; and I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28 Mana dvēsele raud noskumusi; stiprini mani ar Tavu Vārdu.
My soul has slumbered for sorrow; strengthen you me with your words.
29 Novērs no manis viltības ceļu un dāvini man Tavu bauslību.
Remove from me the way of iniquity; and be merciful to me by your law.
30 Patiesības ceļu es esmu izredzējies, Tavas tiesas esmu licis savā priekšā.
I have chosen the way of truth; and have not forgotten your judgments.
31 Es turos pie Tavām liecībām, ak Kungs, nepamet mani kaunā.
I have cleaved to your testimonies, O Lord; put me not to shame.
32 Kad Tu manu sirdi atvieglini, tad es teku Tavas bauslības ceļu.
I ran the way of your commandments, when you did enlarge my heart.
33 Māci man, Kungs, Tavu likumu ceļus, ka es tos pasargu līdz galam.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of your ordinances, and I will seek it out continually.
34 Dod man saprašanu, ka es Tavu bauslību sargu un to turu no visas sirds.
Instruct me, and I will search out your law, and will keep it with my whole heart.
Guide me in the path of your commandments; for I have delighted in it.
Incline mine heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Nogriez manas acis, ka tās neskatās uz nelietību, dari mani dzīvu uz Tava ceļa.
Turn away mine eyes that I may not behold vanity: quicken you me in your way.
Confirm your oracle to your servant, that he may fear you.
Take away my reproach which I have feared: for your judgments are good.
40 Redzi, es mīlu Tavas pavēles; dari mani dzīvu pēc Tavas taisnības.
Behold, I have desired your commandments: quicken me in your righteousness.
41 Kungs, lai man nāk Tava žēlastība, Tava pestīšana pēc Tava vārda,
And let your mercy come upon me, O Lord; [even] your salvation, according to your word.
And [so] I shall render an answer to them that reproach me: for I have trusted in your words.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgments. So shall I keep your law continually, for ever and ever.
I walked also at large: for I sought out your commandments.
And I spoke of your testimonies before kings, and was not ashamed.
47 Es priecājos par Taviem baušļiem, ko es mīlēju.
And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved exceedingly.
And I lifted up my hands to your commandments which I loved; and I meditated in your ordinances.
49 Piemini Savam kalpam to vārdu, uz ko Tu man lieci cerēt.
Remember your words to your servant, wherein you have made me hope.
This has comforted me in mine affliction: for your oracle has quickened me.
51 Pārgalvji mani apsmej pārlieku, bet es neatkāpjos no Tavas bauslības.
The proud have transgressed exceedingly; but I swerved not from your law.
52 Kungs, kad es pieminu Tavas tiesas no senlaikiem, tad topu iepriecināts.
I remembered your judgments of old, O Lord; and was comforted.
53 Lielas dusmas mani pārņēmušas to bezdievīgo dēļ, kas Tavu bauslību atstāj.
Despair took hold upon me, because of the sinners who forsake your law.
54 Tava bauslība ir mana dziesma manas svešniecības namā.
Your ordinances were my songs in the place of my sojourning.
I remembered your name, O Lord, in the night, and kept your law.
56 Tā ir mana manta, ka es turu Tavas pavēles.
This I had, because I diligently sought your ordinances.
57 Tu, Kungs, esi mana daļa; es esmu solījis, turēt Tavus Vārdus.
You are my portion, O Lord: I said that I would keep your law.
58 Es Tevi pielūdzu no visas sirds; esi man žēlīgs pēc Tavas apsolīšanas.
I implored your favor with my whole heart: have mercy upon me according to your word.
I thought on your ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies.
60 Es steidzos un nekavējos, Tavus baušļus turēt.
I prepared myself, (and was not terrified, ) to keep your commandments.
61 Bezdievīgie man apmetuši valgus, taču es neaizmirstu Tavu bauslību.
The snares of sinners entangled me: but I forgot not your law.
62 Nakts vidū es ceļos, Tev pateikties par Tavas taisnības tiesām.
At midnight I arose, to give thanks to you for the judgments of your righteousness.
I am a companion of all them that fear you, and of them that keep your commandments.
64 Kungs, zeme ir pilna Tavas žēlastības; māci man Tavus likumus.
O Lord, the earth is full of your mercy: teach me your ordinances.
65 Tu dari labu Savam kalpam, ak Kungs, pēc Sava vārda.
You have wrought kindly with your servant, o Lord, according to your word.
66 Māci man labu saprašanu un atzīšanu, jo es ticu Taviem baušļiem.
Teach me kindness, and instruction, and knowledge: for I have believed your commandments.
67 Pirms tapu pazemots, es alojos; bet nu es turu Tavu Vārdu.
Before I was afflicted, I transgressed; therefore have I kept your word.
68 Tu esi labs un dari labu, māci man Tavus likumus.
Good are you, O Lord; therefore in your goodness teach me your ordinances.
69 Pārgalvji izperē melus pret mani, bet es turu Tavas pavēles no visas sirds.
The injustice of the proud has been multiplied against me: but I will search out your commandments with all my heart.
Their heart has been curdled like milk; but I have meditated on your law.
71 Labi man, ka esmu apbēdināts, lai mācos Tavus likumus.
[It is] good for me that you have afflicted me; that I might learn your ordinances.
72 Tavas mutes bauslība man ir labāka nekā tūkstoši zelta un sudraba.
The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Tavas rokas mani radījušas un taisījušas; dari mani gudru, ka es mācos Tavus baušļus.
Your hands have made me, and fashioned me: instruct me, that I may learn your commandments.
They that fear you will see me and rejoice: for I have hoped in your words.
I know, O Lord, that your judgments are righteousness, and [that] you in truthfulness have afflicted me.
Let, I pray you, your mercy be to comfort me, according to your word to your servant.
Let your compassions come to me, that I may live: for your law is my (meditation)
Let the proud be ashamed; for they transgressed against me unjustly: but I will meditate in your commandments.
Let those that fear you, and those that know your testimonies, turn to me.
Let mine heart be blameless in your ordinances, that I may not be ashamed.
My soul faints for your salvation: I have hoped in your words.
Mine eyes failed [in waiting] for your word, saying, When will you comfort me?
For I am become as a bottle in the frost: [yet] I have not forgotten your ordinances.
84 Cik tad Tavam kalpam dienu? Kad Tu turēsi sodu pār maniem vajātājiem?
How many are the days of your servant? when will you execute judgment for me on them that persecute me?
85 Pārgalvji man rok bedres, tie, kas neturas pēc Tavas bauslības.
Transgressors told me [idle tales]; but not according to your law, O Lord.
86 Visi Tavi baušļi ir patiesība; tie mani vajā ar meliem, - palīdzi man!
All your commandments are truth; they persecuted me unjustly; help you me.
87 Tie mani gandrīz iznīcinājuši virs zemes, bet es neesmu atstājis Tavas pavēles.
They nearly made an end of me in the earth; but I forsook not your commandments.
88 Atspirdzini mani pēc Tavas žēlastības, tad es sargāšu Tavas mutes liecību.
Quicken me according to your mercy; so shall I keep the testimonies of your mouth.
89 Kungs, Tavs vārds pastāv mūžīgi debesīs.
Your word, O Lord, abides in heaven for ever.
90 Tava patiesība stāv līdz radu radiem. Tu zemi esi stiprinājis, ka tā stāv.
Your truth [endures] to all generations; you have founded the earth, and it abides.
The day continues by your arrangement; for all things are your servants.
92 Ja Tava bauslība nebūtu bijusi mans prieks, tad es jau sen būtu bojā gājis savās bēdās.
Were it not that your law is my (meditation) then I should have perished in mine affliction.
93 Tavas pavēles es neaizmirsīšu ne mūžam, jo caur tām Tu mani esi atspirdzinājis.
I will never forget your ordinances; for with them you have quickened me.
94 Tavs es esmu, atpestī mani; jo es meklēju Tavas pavēles.
I am your, save me; for I have sought out your ordinances.
Sinners laid wait for me to destroy me; [but] I understood your testimonies.
96 Es esmu redzējis, ka ikvienam stiprumam ir gals, bet Tavs bauslis pastāv bez gala.
have seen an end of all perfection; [but] your commandment is very broad.
97 Cik ļoti es mīlēju Tavu bauslību! To es pārdomāju ikdienas.
How I have loved your law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
You have made me wiser than mine enemies [in] your commandment; for it is mine for ever.
99 Es esmu vairāk izmācīts nekā visi mani mācītāji, jo es pārdomāju Tavas liecības.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; for your testimonies are my medication.
100 Es esmu prātīgāks nekā tie vecie, jo es turu Tavas pavēles.
I understand more that the aged; because I have sought out your commandments.
101 Es atrauju savu kāju no visiem blēžu ceļiem, ka es sargāju Tavu vārdu.
I have kept back my feet from every evil way, that I might keep your words.
102 Es neatkāpjos no Tavām tiesām, jo Tu mani māci.
I have not declined from your judgments; for you have instructed me.
How sweet are your oracles to my throat! more so than honey to my mouth!
104 Caur Tavām pavēlēm es topu prātīgs, tādēļ es ienīstu visus viltus ceļus.
I gain understanding by your commandments: therefore I have hated every way of unrighteousness.
Your law is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
I have sworn and determined to keep the judgments of your righteousness.
107 Es esmu ļoti apbēdināts, Kungs, atspirdzini mani pēc Tava vārda.
I have been very greatly afflicted, O Lord: quicken me, according to your word.
108 Ak Kungs, lai Tev jel patīk manas mutes upuri, un māci man Tavas tiesas.
Accept, I pray you, O Lord, the free will offerings of my mouth, and teach me your judgments.
109 Mana dvēsele stāv vienmēr manā rokā, taču es neaizmirstu Tavu bauslību.
My soul is continually in your hands; and I have not forgotten your law.
110 Bezdievīgie man liek valgus, taču es nealojos no Tavām pavēlēm.
Sinners spread a snare for me; but I erred not from your commandments.
I have inherited your testimonies for ever; for they are the joy of my heart.
112 Es griežu savu sirdi, darīt Tavus likumus mūžīgi līdz pat galam.
I have inclined my heart to perform your ordinances for ever, in return [for your mercies].
I have hated transgressors; but I have loved your law.
You are my helper and my supporter; I have hoped in your words.
115 Atstājaties no manis, jūs ļauna darītāji, ka es varu turēt sava Dieva baušļus.
Depart from me, you evil-doers; for I will search out the commandments of my God.
Uphold me according to your word, and quicken me; and make me not ashamed of my expectation.
117 Stiprini mani, ka topu vesels, tad es skatīšos uz Taviem likumiem vienmēr.
Help me, and I shall be saved; and I will meditate in your ordinances continually.
You have brought to nothing all that depart from your ordinances; for their inward thought is unrighteous.
119 Tu atmeti visus bezdievīgos virs zemes kā sārņus, tādēļ es mīļoju Tavas liecības.
I have reckoned all the sinners of the earth as transgressors; therefore have I loved your testimonies.
120 Es tā bīstos no Tevis, ka šaušalas pāriet pār manām miesām, un man ir bail no Tavām sodībām.
Penetrate my flesh with your fear; for I am afraid of your judgments.
I have done judgment and justice; deliver me not up to them that injure me.
122 Aizstāvi Tu Savu kalpu uz labu, ka pārgalvji mani nepārvar.
Receive your servant for good: let not the proud accuse me falsely.
Mine eyes have failed for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness.
124 Dari pēc Savas žēlastības Savam kalpam un māci man Tavus likumus.
Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your ordinances.
125 Es esmu Tavs kalps; dari man gudru, ka es atzīstu Tavas liecības.
I am your servant; instruct me, and I shall know your testimonies.
126 Laiks ir, ka Tas Kungs Savu darbu dara; tie lauzuši Tavu bauslību.
[It is] time for the Lord to work: they have utterly broken your law.
Therefore have I loved your commandments more than gold, or the topaz.
128 Tādēļ es turu visas pavēles par it taisnām; ikkatru viltus ceļu es ienīstu.
Therefore I directed myself [according] to all your commandments: I have hated every unjust way.
129 Tavas liecības ir brīnišķas, tādēļ mana dvēsele tās tur.
Your testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul has sought them out.
The manifestation of your words will enlighten, and instruct the simple.
131 Savu muti es atdaru ilgodamies, jo Tavu baušļu man gribās.
I opened my mouth, and drew breath: for I earnestly longed after your commandments.
Look upon me and have mercy upon me, after the manner of them that love your name.
Order my steps according to your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Atpestī mani no cilvēku spaidiem, tad es turēšu Tavas pavēles.
Deliver me from the false accusation of men: so will I keep your commandments.
135 Apgaismo Savu vaigu pār Savu kalpu un māci man Tavus likumus.
Cause your face to shine upon your servant: and teach me your ordinances.
136 Manas acis izraud asaru upes, tāpēc ka netur Tavu bauslību.
Mine eyes have been bathed in streams of water, because I kept not your law.
Righteous are you, O Lord, and upright are your judgments.
138 Taisnībā Tu esi piekodinājis un lielā patiesībā Savas liecības.
You has commanded righteousness and perfect truth, [as] your testimonies.
139 Mans karstums mani gandrīz nomācis, tāpēc ka mani pretinieki aizmirst Tavus vārdus.
Your zeal has quite wasted me: because mine enemies have forgotten your words.
Your word [has been] very fully tried; and your servant loves it.
I am young and despised: [yet] I have not forgotten your ordinances.
Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is truth.
Afflictions and distresses found me: [but] your commandments [were] my (meditation)
144 Tavu liecību taisnība ir mūžīga; liec man to saprast, tad es dzīvošu.
Your testimonies [are] an everlasting righteousness: instruct me, and I shall live.
145 Es saucu no visas sirds, paklausi mani, Kungs, tad es turēšu Tavus likumus.
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will search out your ordinances.
146 Es Tevi piesaucu, palīdzi man, ka turu Tavas liecības.
I cried to you; save me, and I will keep your testimonies.
I arose before the dawn, and cried: I hoped in your words.
148 Agri manas acis mostas, pārdomāt Tavus Vārdus.
Mine eyes prevented the dawn, that I might meditate on your oracles.
149 Klausi manu balsi pēc Tavas žēlastības; Kungs, atspirdzini mani pēc Tavām tiesām.
Hear my voice, O Lord, according to your mercy; quicken me according to your judgment.
They have drawn near who persecuted me unlawfully; and they are far removed from your law.
You are near, O Lord; and all your ways are truth.
152 No iesākuma es zinu, ka Tu Savas liecības esi stiprinājis uz mūžību.
I have known of old concerning your testimonies, that you have founded them for ever.
Look upon mine affliction, and rescue me; for I have not forgotten your law.
Plead my cause, and ransom me: quicken me because of your word.
155 Pestīšana paliek tālu no bezdievīgiem, jo tie nemeklē Tavus likumus.
Salvation is far from sinners: for they have not searched out your ordinances.
Your mercies, O Lord, are many: quicken me according to your judgment.
Many are they that persecute me and oppress me: [but] I have not declined from your testimonies.
158 Es redzu pārkāpējus, un man sāp, ka tie netur Tavus Vārdus.
I saw men acting foolishly, and I pined away; for they kept not your oracles.
159 Uzlūko, ka es Tavas pavēles mīļoju; ak Kungs, atspirdzini mani pēc Tavas žēlastības.
Behold, I have loved your commandments, O Lord: quicken me in your mercy.
The beginning of your words is truth; and all the judgments of your righteousness [endure] for ever.
161 Lieli kungi mani vajā bez vainas, bet mana sirds bīstas no Taviem Vārdiem.
Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of your words.
I will exult because of your oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love your law.
164 Es Tevi teicu septiņkārt dienā par Tavām taisnām tiesām.
Seven times in a day have I praised you because of the judgments of your righteousness.
Great peace have they that love your law: and there is no stumbling block to them.
I waited for your salvation, O Lord, and have loved your commandments.
My soul has kept your testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
I have kept your commandments and your testimonies; for all my ways are before you, O Lord.
169 Ak Kungs, lai mana saukšana nāk priekš Tava vaiga! Dari mani gudru pēc Tava Vārda!
Let my supplication come near before you, o Lord; instruct me according to your oracle.
170 Lai mana sirds lūgšana nāk priekš Tava vaiga! Izglāb mani pēc Tava Vārda!
Let my petition come in before you, O Lord; deliver me according to your oracle.
171 Manas lūpas teiktin teiks Tavu slavu, kad tu man māci Tavus likumus.
Let my lips utter a hymn, when you shall have taught me your ordinances.
Let my tongue utter your oracles; for all your commandments are righteous.
173 Lai Tava roka man nāk palīgā, jo Tavas pavēles es esmu izredzējies.
Let your hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen your commandments.
174 Kungs, man gribās Tavas pestīšanas, un Tava bauslība ir mans prieks.
I have longed after your salvation, O Lord; and your law is my (meditation)
My soul shall live, and shall praise you; and your judgments shall help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I have not forgotten your commandments.
