< Psalmi 110 >
1 Dāvida dziesma. Tas Kungs sacījis uz manu Kungu: “Sēdies pa Manu labo roku, tiekams Es Tavus ienaidniekus lieku par pameslu Tavām kājām.”
A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”
2 Tas Kungs sūtīs Tava stipruma scepteri no Ciānas; valdi Savu ienaidnieku vidū.
The Lord will send forth the scepter of your virtue from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.
3 Tavā kara dienā Tavi ļaudis labprātīgi parādās svētā glītumā; Tavi jaunekļi Tev nāk kā rasa no ausekļa.
It is with you from the beginning, in the day of your virtue, in the splendor of the saints. From conception, before the light-bearer, I begot you.
4 Tas Kungs ir zvērējis un Tam nebūs žēl: “Tu esi priesteris mūžīgi pēc Melhizedeka kārtas.”
The Lord has sworn, and he will not repent: “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 Tas Kungs pie Tavas labās rokas satrieks ķēniņus Savas dusmības dienā.
The Lord is at your right hand. He has broken kings in the day of his wrath.
6 Viņš turēs tiesu pagānu starpā; Viņš piepildīs zemi ar miroņiem. Viņš satrieks to, kas ir galva pār lielu zemi.
He will judge between the nations; he will fill up ruination. He will shatter heads in the land of the many.
7 Viņš dzers no upes uz ceļa, tādēļ Viņš pacels galvu.
He will drink from the torrent on the way. Because of this, he will exalt the head.
