Psalmi 107
1 Pateiciet Tam Kungam, jo Viņš ir labs, un Viņa žēlastība paliek mūžīgi!
O give thanks to Yahweh—For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
2 Lai tā saka tie, ko Tas Kungs ir atpestījis, ko Viņš izglābis no spaidītāju rokas
Let the redeemed of Yahweh say, Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 Un sapulcinājis no tām zemēm, no rītiem un vakariem, no ziemeļiem un no jūras.
And, out of the lands, hath gathered them—From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
4 Tie, kas tuksnesī maldījās pa nestaigātiem ceļiem un neatrada pilsētu, kur varēja dzīvot,
They wandered about in the desert—in a waste, Way to a city to dwell in, found they none;
5 Izsalkuši un izslāpuši, ka viņa dvēsele nogura.
Hungry—yea thirsty, their soul, within them, fainted:
6 Tad tie To Kungu piesauca savās bēdās, un Viņš tos izglāba no viņu bailēm,
Then made they outcry to Yahweh, in their peril, Out of their distresses, he rescued them;
7 Un Viņš tos vadīja pa taisnu ceļu, ka tie gāja uz to pilētu, kur varēja dzīvot:
And led them by a straight road, That they might journey to a city to dwell in.
8 Tiem būs Tam Kungam pateikties par Viņa žēlastību un par Viņa brīnumiem pie cilvēku bērniem,
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men;
9 Ka Viņš paēdinājis iztvīkušo un ar labumu piepildījis izsalkušo. -
For he hath satisfied the longing soul, and, the famished soul, hath he filled with good.
10 Tie, kas tumsībā sēdēja un nāves ēnā, saistīti bēdās un dzelzīs,
The dwellers in darkness and death-shade, bound with oppression and iron;
11 Tāpēc ka tie bija pretī turējušies Dieva baušļiem un nicinājuši tā Visuaugstākā padomu;
Because they had rebelled against the sayings of GOD, —and, the counsel of the Most High, they had spurned;
12 Tādēļ viņu sirds tapa apbēdināta ar grūtumu, un tie pakrita un palīga nebija.
And he bowed down, with labour, their heart, They staggered, with no one to help,
13 Tad tie To Kungu piesauca savās bēdās, un Viņš tos izglāba no viņu bailēm
Then made they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, Out of their distresses, he saved them;
14 Un tos izveda no tumsības un nāves ēnas un saraustīja viņu saites:
He brought them forth out of darkness and death-shade, and, their fetters, he tare off.
15 Tiem būs Tam Kungam pateikties par Viņa žēlastību un par Viņa brīnumiem pie cilvēku bērniem,
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
16 Ka Viņš salauž vara durvis un sadauza dzelzs bultas. -
For he brake in pieces the doors of bronze, And, the bars of iron, he hewed asunder.
17 Tie ģeķi, kas tapa mocīti savu grēku ceļu un savu noziegumu dēļ,
The perverse, by reason of their transgression, and on account of their iniquities, are afflicted;
18 Tā ka viņu dvēselei riebās visa barība, un ka tie nogrima līdz pat nāves vārtiem.
All manner of food, their soul abhorreth, and so they draw near unto the gates of death,
19 Tad tie To Kungu piesauca savās bēdās, un Viņš tos izglāba no viņu bailēm.
Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he saveth them.
20 Viņš sūtīja Savu vārdu un tos dziedināja un tos izrāva no viņu bedrēm:
He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.
21 Tiem būs Tam Kungam pateikties par Viņa žēlastību un par Viņa brīnumiem pie cilvēku bērniem,
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
22 Un pateikšanas upurus upurēt un Viņa darbus izteikt ar prieku. -
Yea let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount his works with a shout.
23 Tie, kas ar lielām laivām pa jūru līgojās un strādāja savu darbu uz lieliem ūdeņiem,
Men who go down to the sea, in ships, doing business through mighty waters;
24 Kas Tā Kunga darbu redzējuši un Viņa brīnumus jūras dziļumos,
They, see the works of Yahweh, and his wonders in the deep;
25 Kad Viņš runāja un pacēla vētru, kas viļņus paaugstināja,
And he speaketh, and there ariseth a tempestuous wind, which lifteth on high its rolling waves;
26 Un tie tā kā uz debesīm kāpa un atkal nogrima dziļumos, ka viņu dvēsele no bailības izkusa,
They mount the heavens, they descend the roaring deeps, their soul, by trouble, dissolveth;
27 Un tapa mētāti un zvalstījās, kā piedzēruši un visa viņu gudrība iznīka.
They reel and stagger, like a drunken man, and, all their wisdom, is engulfed,
28 Tad tie To Kungu piesauca savās bēdās, un Viņš tos izglāba no viņu bailēm;
Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he bringeth them forth,
29 Viņš klusināja vētru, tā ka viļņi norima;
He calmeth the storm to a whisper, and silent are their rolling waves:
30 Un tie priecājās, ka norima, un Viņš tos veda uz ostu, kurp tiem gribējās:
Then are they glad, because they are hushed, And he guideth them unto their desired haven.
31 Tiem būs Tam Kungam pateikties par Viņa žēlastību un par Viņa brīnumiem pie cilvēku bērniem.
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
32 Un Viņu paaugstināt ļaužu draudzē un Viņu slavēt vecaju vidū.
Yea let them extol him in the convocation of the people, and, in the seated company of elders, let them praise him.
33 Viņš upes padara par tuksnesi un ūdens avotus par izkaltušām vietām,
He turneth Rivers into a desert, and, Springs of Water, into thirsty ground,
34 Un auglīgu zemi Viņš padara par neauglīgu viņas iedzīvotāju blēdības dēļ;
A Land of Fruit, into a waste of salt, For the wickedness of them who dwell therein.
35 Un tuksnesi viņš atkal padara ūdeņainu un sauso zemi avoksnainu.
He turneth A Desert, into a pool of water, and, A Parched Land into springs of water;
36 Un liek tur dzīvot tiem izsalkušiem, ka tie var uzcelt pilsētu, kur mājot,
And hath caused the famished to dwell there, And they have built them a city to dwell in;
37 Un apsēt tīrumus un dēstīt vīna dārzus, kas nes bagātus augļus.
And have sown fields, and planted vineyards, and made them fruits of increase:
38 Un Viņš tos svētī, ka tie ļoti vairojās, un viņu lopi nenonīkst.
Thus hath he blessed them, and they have multiplied greatly, And, their cattle, he maketh not few.
39 Un viņi bija mazumā gājuši un panīkuši caur nelaimes varu un bēdām.
So have they become few and been brought low, By oppression, misfortune, and sorrow;
40 Viņš izgāž nievāšanu uz lieliem kungiem un liek tiem aloties tuksnesī, kur ceļa nav;
He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;
41 Bet paaugstina bēdīgo no viņa bēdām un vairo viņa dzimumu kā avju pulku.
But he hath set the needy on high from affliction, and made families, like a flock: —
42 To sirdsskaidrie redz un priecājās, un visai blēdībai jātur mute.
The upright seeth and is glad, And, all perverseness, hath closed her mouth.
43 Kas gudrs, lai to ņem vērā un lai atzīst Tā Kunga žēlastības darbus.
Who is wise? then let him observe these things! and diligently consider the lovingkindness of Yahweh.
