< Psalmi 104 >
1 Teici To Kungu, mana dvēsele!
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty.
2 Tu ģērbies gaišumā kā apģērbā; tu izklāj debesis kā telti.
Who coverest [thyself] with light as [with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3 Tu ūdeņus augstībā sev lieci par grīdu, tu dari padebešus par saviem ratiem, tu staigā uz vēja spārniem.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4 Tu dari vējus par Saviem eņģeļiem un uguns liesmas par Saviem sulaiņiem.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5 Zemi Tu esi dibinājis uz viņas pamatiem, ka tā nešaubās ne mūžam.
[Who] laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed for ever.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as [with] a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7 No Taviem draudiem tie bēga, no Tava pērkona tie steidzās projām;
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys to the place which thou hast founded for them.
9 Tu esi licis robežas, tās tie (ūdeņi) nepārkāps un zemi vairs neapklās.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 Tu izvadi avotus pa ielejām, ka tie tek starp kalniem.
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, [which] run among the hills.
11 Tie dzirdina visus lauka zvērus, tur atdzeras meža ēzeļi.
They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 Pie tiem mīt debesputni, zaros tie dzied.
By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, [which] sing among the branches.
13 Tu slapini kalnus no augšienes; ar augļiem, ko Tu radi, zeme top piepildīta.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
And wine [that] maketh glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make [his] face to shine, and bread [which] strengtheneth man's heart.
16 Tā Kunga koki top papilnam slacināti, ciedra koki uz Lībanus, ko Viņš ir dēstījis.
The trees of the LORD are full [of sap]; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
Where the birds make their nests: [as for] the stork, the fir-trees [are] her house.
The high hills [are] a refuge for the wild goats; [and] the rocks for the conies.
19 Tu esi darījis mēnesi laikmetiem, saule zin savu noiešanu.
He appointeth the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20 Tu dari tumsu, ka nakts metās; tad kustās visi meža zvēri.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: in which all the beasts of the forest do creep [forth].
21 Jaunie lauvas rūc pēc laupījuma, meklēdami savu barību no Dieva.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
The sun ariseth, they collect, and lay themselves down in their dens.
23 Tad cilvēks iziet pie sava darba, pie sava lauka darba līdz vakaram.
Man goeth forth to his work and to his labor until the evening.
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
[So is] this great and wide sea, in which [are] creeping animals innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26 Tur iet lielas laivas un Levijatans, ko Tu esi radījis, tur dzīvoties.
There go the ships: [there is] that leviathan, [which] thou hast made to play therein.
27 Tie visi uz Tevi gaida, ka Tu tiem barību dodi savā laikā.
These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give [them] their food in due season.
[That which] thou givest them, they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.
29 Tu apslēpi Savu vaigu, tad tie iztrūkstas; Tu atņem viņiem dvašu, tad tie mirst un paliek atkal par pīšļiem.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30 Tu sūti Savu Garu, tad tie top radīti, un Tu atjauno zemes ģīmi.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 Tā Kunga godība paliek mūžīgi; Tas Kungs priecājās par Saviem darbiem.
The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
32 Viņš uzlūko zemi, tad tā dreb; Viņš aizskar kalnus, tad tie kūp.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33 Es dziedāšu Tam Kungam, kamēr es dzīvoju; es slavēšu savu Dievu ar dziesmām, kamēr šeit esmu.
I will sing to the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 Manas domas Viņam lai patīk; es priecāšos iekš Tā Kunga.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
Teici To Kungu, mana dvēsele, Alleluja.
Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
