1 Un tā tiesa Jāzepa bērniem tapa nomeslota no Jardānes pret Jēriku, pie Jērikus ūdeņiem pret rītiem, tas tuksnesis, kas no Jērikus stiepjas caur Bēteles kalniem

Then came out the lot, for the sons of Joseph, from the Jordan by Jericho, at the waters of Jericho, eastward, —the desert, going up from Jericho, through the hill country to Bethel;

2 Un iznāk no Bēteles uz Lūzu un tek caur Arķiešu robežām līdz Atarotai,

and it goeth out from Bethel towards Luz, —and passeth over unto the boundary of the Archites at Ataroth;

3 Un noiet pret vakara pusi uz Javletes robežām līdz Lejas-Bet-Oronas robežām un līdz Gazerai, un viņas gals stiepjas līdz jūrai.

and descendeth westward, unto the boundary of the Japhletites, as far as the boundary of Bethhoron the nether, and as far as Gezer, —and the extensions thereof are to the sea.

4 Tā Jāzepa bērni, Manasus un Efraīms, savu daļu dabūjuši.

So the sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.

5 Un Efraīma bērnu robeža pēc viņu radiem ir šī: viņu daļas robeža bija pret rītiem Atarot Ādara līdz Kalna-Bet-Oronai.

And the boundary of the sons of Ephraim, by their families, was, —yea the boundary of their inheritance on the east, was Ataroth-addar, as far as Beth-horon the upper;

6 Un tā robeža iznāk no vakara puses gar Miķmetu pa ziemeļa pusi, un šī robeža griežas pret rītiem uz Taēnat Šīlo un iet caur viņu uz rīta pusi līdz Janoai,

and the boundary goeth out westward at Michmethath, on the north, then the boundary bendeth round easward, to Taanath-shiloh, —and passeth by it on the east to Janoah;

7 Un notek no Janoas uz Atarotu un Naāratu, un stiepjas uz Jēriku un iznāk pie Jardānes.

and goeth down from Janoah to Ataroth and to Naarah, —and toucheth upon Jericho, and goeth out at the Jordan.

8 No Tapuas tā robeža stiepjas pret vakara pusi uz Kānas upi, un viņas gals ir pie jūras. Šī ir Efraīma bērnu cilts daļa pēc viņu radiem.

From Tappuah, runneth the boundary along westward, to the ravine of Kanah, and the extensions thereof are to the sea, —this, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, by their families;

9 Un tās pilsētas, kas bija atšķirtas priekš Efraīma bērniem, bija Manasus bērnu daļas vidū, visas tās pilsētas un viņu ciemi.

together with the cities which were separated for the sons of Ephraim, in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, —all the cities, with their villages.

10 Un tie neizdzina tos Kanaāniešus, kas Gazerā dzīvoja, tā Kanaānieši dzīvoja Efraīma vidū līdz šai dienai un palika par klausītājiem.

But they did not dispossess the Canaanites who were dwelling in Gazer, —so the Canaanites have dwelt in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and have become tributary servants.
