< Jāņa Evaņg̒elijs 8 >

1 Un Jēzus gāja uz Eļļas kalnu.
And at dawn He came again to the temple [courts],
2 Un no rīta agri Viņš atkal nāca Dieva namā un visi ļaudis pie Viņa nāca, un Viņš apsēdās un tos mācīja.
and all the people were coming to Him, and having sat down, He was teaching them;
and the scribes and the Pharisees bring to Him a woman having been taken in adultery, and having set her in the midst,
they say to Him, “Teacher, this woman was taken in the very crime [of] committing adultery,
and in the Law, Moses commanded us that such be stoned; You, therefore, what do You say?”
6 Bet to tie sacīja Viņu kārdinādami, ka dabūtu vainu, Viņu apsūdzēt.
And this they said, trying Him, that they might have to accuse Him. And Jesus, having stooped down, with the finger He was writing on the ground,
and when they continued asking Him, having bent Himself back, He said to them, “The sinless of you—let him cast the first stone at her”;
8 Un Viņš atkal locīdamies rakstīja smiltīs.
and again having stooped down, He was writing on the ground,
and they having heard, and being convicted by the conscience, were going forth one by one, having begun from the elders—to the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 Un Jēzus atkal pacēlās un nevienu neredzēdams kā vien to sievu uz to sacīja: “Sieva, kur ir tavi apsūdzētāji? Vai neviens tevi nav pazudinājis?”
And Jesus having bent Himself back, and having seen no one but the woman, said to her, “Woman, where are those—your accusers? Did no one pass sentence on you?”
And she said, “No one, Lord”; and Jesus said to her, “Neither do I pass sentence on you; be going on, and sin no more.”]]
12 Tad Jēzus atkal uz tiem runāja sacīdams: “Es esmu tas pasaules gaišums. Kas Man iet pakaļ, tas nestaigās tumsībā, bet tam būs tas dzīvības gaišums.”
Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I AM the light of the world; he who is following Me will not walk in the darkness, but he will have the light of life.”
13 Tad tie farizeji uz Viņu sacīja: “Tu liecību dod par Sevi pašu, Tava liecība nav patiesīga.”
The Pharisees, therefore, said to Him, “You testify of Yourself, Your testimony is not true”;
Jesus answered and said to them, “And if I testify of Myself—My testimony is true, because I have known from where I came, and to where I go, and you have not known from where I come, or to where I go.
15 Jūs tiesājiet pēc miesas; Es netiesāju neviena.
You judge according to the flesh; I do not judge anyone,
and even if I do judge My judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me;
and also in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true;
I am [One] who is testifying of Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies of Me.”
19 Tad tie uz Viņu sacīja: “Kur ir Tavs Tēvs?” Jēzus atbildēja: “Jūs nepazīstat nedz Mani nedz Manu Tēvu. Ja jūs Mani būtu pazinuši, tad jūs arī Manu Tēvu būtu pazinuši.”
They said, therefore, to Him, “Where is Your father?” Jesus answered, “You have neither known Me nor My Father: if you had known Me, you had also known My Father.”
Jesus spoke these sayings in the treasury, teaching in the temple, and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come;
therefore Jesus said again to them, “I go away, and you will seek Me, and you will die in your sin; to where I go away, you are not able to come.”
22 Tad tie Jūdi sacīja: “Vai Tas Sev pats galu darīs, ka Tas saka: uz kurieni Es eju, turp jūs nevarat nākt?”
The Jews, therefore, said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, To where I go away, you are not able to come?”
And He said to them, “You are from beneath, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world;
I said, therefore, to you, that you will die in your sins, for if you may not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.”
They said, therefore, to Him, “You—who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Even what I spoke of to you at the beginning;
26 Man daudz par jums jārunā un jātiesā bet kas Mani sūtījis, Tas ir patiesīgs, un ko Es no Viņa esmu dzirdējis, to Es runāju uz pasauli.”
many things I have to speak concerning you and to judge, but He who sent Me is true, and I—what things I heard from Him—these I say to the world.”
They did not know that He spoke to them of the Father;
28 Tad Jēzus uz tiem sacīja: “Kad jūs To Cilvēka Dēlu paaugstināsiet, tad jūs sapratīsiet, ka Es tas esmu, un ka Es neko nedaru no Sevis, bet itin to runāju, ko Mans Tēvs Man ir mācījis.
Jesus, therefore, said to them, “When you may lift up the Son of Man then you will know that I AM; and I do nothing of Myself, but according as My Father taught Me, these things I speak;
and He who sent Me is with Me; the Father did not leave Me alone, because I always do the things pleasing to Him.”
30 Kad Viņš to runāja, tad daudzi ticēja uz Viņu.
As He is speaking these things, many believed in Him;
31 Tad Jēzus sacīja uz tiem Jūdiem, kas Viņam bija ticējuši: “Ja jūs paliekat Manā Vārdā, tad jūs patiesi esat Mani mācekļi,
Jesus, therefore, said to the Jews who believed in Him, “If you may remain in My word, you are truly My disciples,
32 Un atzīsiet patiesību, un patiesība jūs atsvabinās.”
and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
33 Tie Viņam atbildēja: “Mēs esam Ābrahāma dzimums un ne mūžam nevienam neesam kalpojuši; kā tad Tu saki: jūs tapsiet svabadi?”
They answered Him, “We are seed of Abraham; and we have been servants to no one at any time; how do You say—You will become free?”
34 Jēzus tiem atbildēja: “Patiesi, patiesi, Es jums saku: ikviens, kas grēku dara, tas ir grēka kalps.
Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who is committing sin, is a servant of sin,
35 Bet kalps mūžam namā nepaliek; dēls paliek mūžam. (aiōn g165)
and the servant does not remain in the house—throughout the age, the Son remains—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
36 Ja nu Tas Dēls jūs atsvabinās, tad jūs tiešām būsiet svabadi.
if then the Son may make you free, in reality you will be free.
37 Es zinu, ka jūs esat Ābrahāma dzimums, bet jūs Mani meklējat nokaut, jo Manam vārdam nav vietas pie jums.
I have known that you are seed of Abraham, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you;
38 Es runāju, ko Es esmu redzējis pie Sava Tēva; un jūs arīdzan darāt, ko jūs esat redzējuši pie sava tēva.”
I speak that which I have seen with My Father, and you, therefore, do that which you have seen with your father.”
They answered and said to Him, “Our father is Abraham”; Jesus says to them, “If you were children of Abraham, the works of Abraham you were doing;
40 Bet nu jūs Mani meklējat nokaut, cilvēku, kas jums patiesību esmu runājis, ko esmu dzirdējis no Dieva. To Ābrahāms nav darījis.
and now, you seek to kill Me—a Man who has spoken to you the truth I heard from God; Abraham did not do this;
41 Jūs darāt sava tēva darbus!” Tad tie uz Viņu sacīja: “Mēs maucībā neesam dzimuši. Mums ir viens vienīgs Tēvs, Dievs.”
you do the works of your father.” They said, therefore, to Him, “We have not been born of whoredom; we have one Father—God”;
Jesus then said to them, “If God were your father, you were loving Me, for I came forth from God, and am come; for neither have I come of Myself, but He sent Me;
43 Kādēļ tad jūs Manu valodu nesaprotat? Tādēļ ka jūs Manu mācību nevarat ieklausīties.
why do you not know My speech? Because you are not able to hear My word.
You are of a father—the Devil, and the desires of your father you will to do; he was a manslayer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him; when one may speak the falsehood, he speaks of his own, because he is a liar—also his father.
45 Bet kad Es patiesību saku, tad jūs Man neticat.
And because I say the truth, you do not believe Me.
46 Kas jūsu starpā Man jebkādu grēku var pierādīt? Bet kad Es jums patiesību saku, kam jūs Man neticat?
Who of you convicts Me of sin? And if I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
47 Kas ir no Dieva, tas Dieva vārdus klausa; tāpēc jūs neklausiet, ka jūs neesat no Dieva.”
He who is of God, he hears the sayings of God; because of this you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
The Jews, therefore, answered and said to Him, “Do we not say well, that You are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”
49 Jēzus atbildēja: “Man velna nav, bet Es Savu Tēvu godāju, un jūs Mani turat negodā.
Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me;
and I do not seek My own glory; there is [One] who is seeking and is judging;
51 Patiesi, patiesi, Es jums saku, kas Manu vārdu turēs, tas nāvi neredzēs ne mūžam.” (aiōn g165)
truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may keep My word, he may not see death—throughout the age.” (aiōn g165)
52 Tad tie Jūdi uz To sacīja: “Tagad mēs nomanām, ka Tev ir velns.
The Jews, therefore, said to Him, “Now we have known that You have a demon; Abraham died, and the prophets, and You say, If anyone may keep My word, he will not taste of death—throughout the age!
Are You greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died; whom do You make Yourself?”
54 Jēzus atbildēja: “Ja Es pats Sevi godāju, tad Mans gods nav nekas; bet Mans Tēvs Mani godā, par ko jūs sakāt, ka Tas jūsu Tēvs.
Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who is glorifying Me, of whom you say that He is your God;
and you have not known Him, and I have known Him, and if I say that I have not known Him, I will be like you—speaking falsely; but I have known Him, and I keep His word;
56 Ābrahāms, jūsu tēvs, tapa līksms, ka Manu dienu redzēšot, un viņš to redzēja un priecājās.”
your father Abraham was glad that he might see My day; and he saw, and rejoiced.”
57 Tad tie Jūdi uz To sacīja: “Tu vēl neesi piecdesmit gadus vecs, un Ābrahāmu esi redzējis?”
The Jews, therefore, said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?”
58 Jēzus uz tiem sacīja: “Patiesi, patiesi, Es jums saku: pirms nekā Ābrahāms bija, Es esmu.”
Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham’s coming—I AM”;
they took up, therefore, stones that they may cast at Him, but Jesus hid Himself, and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
