1 Šis ir tas vārds, kas notika uz pravieti Jeremiju pret Fīlistiem, pirms Faraons sakāva Gacu.

2 Tā saka Tas Kungs: redzi, ūdens celsies no ziemeļiem un plūdīs un pārplūdīs zemi un visu viņas pilnumu, pilsētas, un viņas iedzīvotājus; un tie cilvēki brēks, un visi zemes iedzīvotāji kauks.

before the uproar of a procession of weapons and of his soldiers, before the commotion of his four-horse chariots and the multitude of his wheels. The fathers have not looked back for the sons, because of feebleness of hands,

4 Tās dienas dēļ kas nāk, postīt visus Fīlistus un izdeldēt Tiru un Sidonu līdz ar tiem citiem palīgiem; jo Tas Kungs izpostīs Fīlistus, kas atlikušies no Kaftora salas.

because of the arrival of the day on which all the Philistines will be devastated, and Tyre and Sidon will be destroyed, with all the rest of their helpers. For the Lord has depopulated the Philistines, the remnant of the island of Cappadocia.

5 Kailums nāk pār Gacu, Askalona izdeldēta, tas atlikums viņas ielejā. Cik ilgi tu pats gribi graizīties?
