< Otra Mozus 10 >
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs among them,
and that you may tell in the hearing of your son, and of your son’s son, what things I have done to Egypt [Abode of slavery], and my signs which I have done among them; that you may know that I am Adonai.”
3 Tad Mozus un Ārons gāja pie Faraona un uz to sacīja: tā saka Tas Kungs, tas Ebreju Dievs: cik ilgi tu liedzies pazemoties priekš Mana vaiga? Atlaid Manus ļaudis, ka tie Man var kalpot.
Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, “This is what Adonai, the God of the Hebrews [Immigrants], says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may abad ·serve· me.
4 Jo ja tu liegsies, atlaist Manus ļaudis, redzi, tad Es rītu vedīšu siseņus tavās robežās,
Or else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your country,
and they shall cover the surface of the earth, so that one won’t be able to see the earth. They shall eat the residue of that which has escaped, which remains to you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field.
6 Un tie piepildīs tavus namus un visu tavu kalpu namus un visu ēģiptiešu namus; tādus ne tavi tēvi, ne tavu tēvu tēvi nav redzējuši no tās dienas, kamēr tie virs zemes bijuši, līdz šim; un viņš griezās un aizgāja no Faraona.
Your houses shall be filled, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery]; as neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’” He turned, and went out from Pharaoh.
Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may abad ·serve· Adonai, their God. Don’t you yet know that Egypt [Abode of slavery] is destroyed?”
Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] were brought again to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, abad ·serve· Adonai your God; but who are those who will go?”
Moses [Drawn out] said, “We will go with our young and with our old; with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast to Adonai.”
He said to them, “Adonai be with you if I will let you go with your little ones! See, evil is clearly before your faces.
Not so! Go now you who are men, and abad ·serve· Adonai; for that is what you desire!” They were divorced from Pharaoh’s presence.
12 Tad Tas Kungs sacīja uz Mozu: izstiep savu roku pār Ēģiptes zemi siseņu dēļ, ka tie nāk pār Ēģiptes zemi un noēd visu zemes zāli, visu, ko krusa ir atlicinājusi.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] for the locusts, that they may come up on the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left.”
Moses [Drawn out] stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and Adonai brought an east wind on the land all that day, and all night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
The locusts went up over all the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and rested in all the borders of Egypt [Abode of slavery]. They were very grievous. Before them there were no such locusts as they, nor will there ever be again.
For they covered the surface of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened, and they ate every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left. There remained nothing green, either tree or herb of the field, through all the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
Then Pharaoh called for Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] in haste, and he said, “I have sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)· against Adonai your God, and against you.
17 Un nu piedod lūdzams manus grēkus tikai šo reiz, un lūdziet To Kungu, savu Dievu, ka Viņš šo nāvi gribētu atņemt no manis.
Now therefore please forgive my habitual sin ·missing the mark· again, and pray to Adonai your God, that he may also take away from me this death.”
18 Un viņš aizgāja no Faraona un lūdza To Kungu.
He went out from Pharaoh, and prayed to Adonai.
19 Tad Tas Kungs deva ļoti stipru vakara vēju; tas pacēla tos siseņus un tos iemeta niedru jūrā, ka neviens sisenis neatlika visās Ēģiptes robežās.
Adonai turned an exceeding strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea]. There remained not one locust in all the borders of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
20 Tomēr Tas Kungs apcietināja Faraona sirdi, un tas Israēla bērnus neatlaida.
But Adonai hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he didn’t let the children of Israel [God prevails] go.
21 Tad Tas Kungs sacīja uz Mozu: izstiep savu roku pret debesīm, ka tumsa nāk pār Ēģiptes zemi, ka tumsu var sataustīt.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], even darkness which may be felt.”
22 Un Mozus izstiepa savu roku pret debesīm, tad cēlās bieza tumsa visā Ēģiptes zemē trīs dienas.
Moses [Drawn out] stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] for three days.
23 Neviens otru neredzēja, un neviens trejās dienās necēlās no savas vietas; bet visiem Israēla bērniem bija gaisma viņu mājokļos.
They didn’t see one another, and nobody rose from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel [God prevails] had light in their dwellings.
Pharaoh called to Moses [Drawn out], and said, “Go, abad ·serve· Adonai. Only let your flocks and your herds stay behind. Let your little ones also go with you.”
Moses [Drawn out] said, “You must also give into our hand sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God].
26 Mūsu lopiem arīdzan būs mums iet līdz; nevienam nadziņam nebūs palikt atpakaļ; jo no tiem mēs ņemsim, Tam Kungam, savam Dievam kalpot; jo mēs nezinām, kā mums Tam Kungam jākalpo, tiekams mēs turp nāksim.
Our livestock also shall go with us. Not a hoof shall be left behind, for of it we must take to serve Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]; and we don’t know with what we must serve Adonai, until we come there.”
But Adonai hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he wouldn’t let them go.
28 Un Faraons uz viņu sacīja: ej nost no manis; sargies, ka tu vairs nenāci man priekš acīm; jo kurā dienā tu nāksi man priekš acīm, tev būs mirt.
Pharaoh said to him, “Get away from me! Be careful to see my face no more; for in the day you see my face you shall die!”
Moses [Drawn out] said, “You have spoken well. I will see your face again no more.”
