Pāvila Vēstule Efeziešiem 4
1 Tad nu jūs lūdzu, es, saistīts iekš Tā Kunga, ka jūs cienīgi staigājiet pēc tās aicināšanas, ar ko esat aicināti,
I therefore, being prisoner in the Lord, praie you that yee walke worthie of the vocation whereunto yee are called,
2 Ar visu pazemību un laipnību un lēnprātību, cits citu panesdami iekš mīlestības,
With all humblenesse of minde, and meekenesse, with long suffering, supporting one an other through loue,
3 Un čakli būdami, sargāt gara vienprātību caur miera saiti,
Endeuouring to keepe the vnitie of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 Viena miesa un viens gars, tā kā jūs arī esat aicināti savā aicināšanā uz vienu cerību;
There is one body, and one Spirit, euen as yee are called in one hope of your vocation.
5 Viens Kungs, viena ticība, viena kristība;
There is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptisme,
6 Viens visu Dievs un Tēvs, kas ir pār visiem un caur visiem un iekš visiem.
One God and Father of all, which is aboue all, and through all, and in you all.
7 Bet ikvienam no jums žēlastība ir dota pēc Kristus dāvanas mēra.
But vnto euery one of vs is giuen grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Tāpēc Tas saka: “Viņš ir uzkāpis augstībā, cietumu pārvarējis un cilvēkiem dāvanas devis.”
Wherfore he saith, Whe he asceded vp on hie, he led captiuity captiue, and gaue gifts vnto men.
9 (Bet tas vārds: Viņš ir uzkāpis, ko citu tas saka nekā: Viņš arī papriekš ir nokāpis tais jo zemās zemes vietās?
(Nowe, in that hee ascended, what is it but that he had also descended first into the lowest partes of the earth?
10 Kas ir nokāpis, tas ir Tas Pats, kas arī uz augšu kāpis, tālu pār visām debesīm, ka Tas visu piepildītu.)
Hee that descended, is euen the same that ascended, farre aboue all heauens, that hee might fill all things)
11 Un Viņš citus ir devis par apustuļiem un citus par praviešiem un citus par evaņģēlistiem un citus par ganiem un mācītājiem,
Hee therefore gaue some to be Apostles, and some Prophets, and some Euangelists, and some Pastours, and Teachers,
12 Ka tie svētie top sataisīti uz kalpošanas darbu, Kristus miesai par uztaisīšanu,
For the repairing of the Saintes, for the woorke of the ministerie, and for the edification of the bodie of Christ,
13 Kamēr mēs visi tiekam pie Dieva Dēla vienādas ticības un atzīšanas un uzaugam par pilnīgu vīru, pilnīgi Kristum līdzīgi;
Till we all meete together (in the vnitie of faith and that acknowledging of the Sonne of God) vnto a perfite man, and vnto the measure of the age of the fulnesse of Christ,
14 Lai vairs neesam bērni, kas top šaubīti un mētāti no ikkatra mācības vēja caur cilvēku blēdību un viltību, ar ko tie meklē mūs pievilt,
That we henceforth be no more children, wauering and caried about with euery winde of doctrine, by the deceit of men, and with craftines, whereby they lay in wait to deceiue.
15 Bet patiesīgi būdami iekš mīlestības lai augam visās lietās iekš Tā, kas ir tā galva, proti Kristus,
But let vs folowe the truth in loue, and in all things, grow vp into him, which is the head, that is, Christ.
16 No kā visa miesa top salaista un sastiprināta caur visādām palīdzības saitēm pēc tā spēka, kas ikkatram loceklim ir, ka tā miesa uzaug pati uztaisīdamies iekš mīlestības.
By whome al the body being coupled and knit together by euery ioynt, for ye furniture therof (according to the effectual power, which is in the measure of euery part) receiueth increase of the body, vnto the edifying of itselfe in loue.
17 To nu es saku un apliecināju iekš Tā Kunga, ka jums nebūs vairs staigāt, kā tie citi pagāni staigā iekš prāta nelietības,
This I say therefore and testifie in the Lord, that yee hencefoorth walke not as other Gentiles walke, in vanitie of their minde,
18 Saprašanā aptumšoti, sveši būdami tai Dieva dzīvībai caur nezināšanu, kas iekš tiem ir, caur viņu sirds cietību,
Hauing their vnderstanding darkened, and being strangers from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardnesse of their heart:
19 Kas par nebēdniekiem palikuši, ir nodevušies bezkaunībai uz visādas nešķīstības darbiem iekš mantas kārības.
Which being past feeling, haue giuen themselues vnto wantonnesse, to woorke all vncleannesse, euen with griedinesse.
20 Bet tā jūs Kristu neesat mācījušies,
But yee haue not so learned Christ,
21 Ja tikai par Viņu esat dzirdējuši un iekš Viņa esat mācīti, tā kā iekš Jēzus ir patiesība.
If so be yee haue heard him, and haue bene taught by him, as the trueth is in Iesus,
22 Tad nu jums pēc tās iepriekšējās dzīvošanas būs nolikt to veco cilvēku, kas samaitāts caur viltīgām kārībām;
That is, that yee cast off, concerning the conuersation in time past, that olde man, which is corrupt through the deceiueable lustes,
23 Un jums būs atjaunoties savā sirds prātā un garā,
And be renued in the spirit of your minde,
24 Un apvilkt to jauno cilvēku, kas pēc Dieva radīts iekš patiesas taisnības un svētības.
And put on ye new man, which after God is created vnto righteousnes, and true holines.
25 Tādēļ noliekat melus un runājiet patiesību, ikviens ar savu tuvāko, jo mēs esam locekļi savā starpā.
Wherefore cast off lying, and speake euery man truth vnto his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Dusmojiet un negrēkojiet; lai saule nenoiet pār jūsu dusmību.
Bee angrie, but sinne not: let not the sunne goe downe vpon your wrath,
27 Nedodiet vietu velnam.
Neither giue place to the deuill.
28 Kas zadzis, tam vairs nebūs zagt, bet jo vairāk strādāt un ar rokām ko labu sagādāt, lai būtu ko dot tam, kam trūkst.
Let him that stole, steale no more: but let him rather labour, and worke with his handes the thing which is good, that hee may haue to giue vnto him that needeth.
29 Nekādai nelietīgai valodai nebūs iziet no jūsu mutes; bet tādai, kas ir laba un derīga priekš uztaisīšanas, lai dod svētību tiem, kas to dzird.
Let no corrupt comunication proceed out of your mouths: but that which is good, to ye vse of edifying, that it may minister grace vnto the hearers.
30 Un neapbēdinājiet to Svēto Dieva Garu, caur ko jūs esat apzieģelēti uz to atpestīšanas dienu.
And grieue not the holy Spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed vnto ye day of redemption.
31 Ikviens rūgtums un dusmība un bardzība un brēkšana un zaimošana līdz ar visu ļaunumu lai ir tālu nost no jums.
Let all bitternesse, and anger, and wrath, crying, and euill speaking be put away from you, with all maliciousnesse.
32 Bet esiet cits pret citu laipnīgi, sirds žēlīgi, cits par citu apžēlodamies, tā kā arī Dievs iekš Kristus ir apžēlojies par jums.
Be ye courteous one to another, and tender hearted, freely forgiuing one another, euen as God for Christes sake, freely forgaue you.
