Amosa 1
1 Šie ir Amosa, Tekoas avju gana, vārdi, ko viņš ir redzējis pār Israēli Uzijas, Jūda ķēniņa, dienās, un Jerobeama, Jehoas dēla, Israēla ķēniņa, dienās, divus gadus priekš tās zemes trīcēšanas.
The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, —of which (words) he had vision concerning Israel, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2 Un viņš sacīja: Tas Kungs rūc no Ciānas un paceļ Savu balsi no Jeruzālemes, ka ganības bēdājās, un Karmeļa galva nokalst.
So then he said—Yahweh, out of Zion, will roar, and, out of Jerusalem, will utter his voice, —and the pastures of the shepherds, shall mourn, and the top of Carmel, be dried up.
3 Tā saka Tas Kungs: treju vai četru Damaskus pārkāpumu dēļ - to Es nenovērsīšu, - tāpēc ka tie Gileādu kūluši ar asiem dzelzs spriguļiem,
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Damascus, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because, with threshing instruments of iron, they have threshed Gilead.
4 Tāpēc Es sūtīšu uguni Azaēļa namā, tas aprīs BenHadada skaistās pilis.
Therefore will send a fire, into the house of Hazael, —which shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad;
5 Un Es salauzīšu Damaskus aizšaujamo un izdeldēšu tos iedzīvotājus no Avenas ielejas un to, kas scepteri tur no BetEdenas; un Sīrijas ļaudis taps aizvesti uz Ķiru, saka Tas Kungs.
And I will break the bolt of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant out of the plain of Aven, and the holder of the sceptre out of the house of Eden, —and the people of Syria, shall be exiled, unto Kir, saith Yahweh.
6 Tā saka Tas Kungs: triju vai četru Gacas pārkāpumu dēļ, - to Es nenovērsīšu, - tādēļ ka tie (Manus ļaudis) lielā pulkā aizveduši, tos nodot Edomam,
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Gaza, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their taking into exile the whole body of exiles, to deliver to Edom,
7 Tādēļ Es sūtīšu uguni Gacas mūros, tas aprīs viņas skaistos namus.
Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, —which shall devour the palaces thereof;
8 Un Es izdeldēšu tos iedzīvotājus no Ašdodas, un, kas scepteri tur, no Askalonas, un Es griezīšu Savu roku pret Ekronu, ka bojā ies viss Fīlistu atlikums, saka Tas Kungs Dievs.
And I will cut off the inhabitant out of Ashdod, and the holder of the sceptre out of Ashkelon, —and will turn my hand against Ekron, So shall perish the remnant of the Philistines, saith My Lord, Yahweh.
9 Tā saka Tas Kungs: treju vai četru Tirus pārkāpumu dēļ, - to Es nenovērsīšu, - tāpēc ka tie Manus ļaudis lielā pulkā nodevuši Edomam un nav pieminējuši brāļu derību,
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Tyre, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their delivering up the whole body of exiles to Edom, and they remembered not the brotherly covenant,
10 Tāpēc Es sūtīšu uguni Tirus mūros, un tas aprīs viņa skaistos namus.
Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, —which shall devour the palaces thereof.
11 Tā saka Tas Kungs: triju vai četru Edoma pārkāpumu dēļ, - to Es nenovērsīšu, - tāpēc ka viņš savu brāli ar zobenu vajājis, un savu mīlestību iznīcinājis un savā bardzībā arvien plosās un patur mūžam savas dusmas,
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Edom, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because he pursued, with the sword, his brother, and stifled his compassions, and his anger tare in pieces evermore, and, his indignation, kept watch perpetually,
12 Tāpēc Es sūtīšu uguni Temanā, tas aprīs Bocras skaistos namus.
Therefore will I send a fire into Teman, —which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
13 Tā saka Tas Kungs: triju vai četru Amona bērnu pārkāpumu dēļ - to Es nenovērsīšu, - tāpēc ka tie Gileādas grūtās sievas uzšķērduši savas robežas izplest,
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of the sons of Ammon, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their ripping up the pregnant women of Gilead, that they might enlarge their own boundary,
14 Tāpēc Es iededzināšu uguni Rabas mūros, tas aprīs viņas skaistos namus, kara dienas kliegšanā un vētras dienas aukā.
Therefore will I kindle a fire upon the wall of Rabbah, which shall devour the palaces thereof, —with a war-cry in the day of battle, with tempest in the day of storm-wind;
15 Un viņu ķēniņš ies cietumā ar saviem lielkungiem, saka Tas Kungs.
And Milcom shall go into exile, —he and his rulers together, saith Yahweh.
