Pāvila 1. Vēstule Korintiešiem 9
1 Vai es neesmu svabads? Vai es neesmu apustulis? Vai es Kristu, mūsu Kungu, neesmu redzējis? Vai jūs neesat mans darbs iekš Tā Kunga?
Am I not an Apostle? am I not fre? have I not sene Iesus Christ oure lorde?
2 Ja es citiem neesmu apustulis, tomēr jums es esmu; jo mana apustuļa amata zieģelis jūs esat iekš Tā Kunga.
Are not ye my worke in the lorde. Yf I be not an Apostle vnto other yet am I vnto you. For the seale of myne Apostleshippe are ye in the lorde.
3 Mana atbildēšana tiem, kas mani tiesā, ir šī:
Myne answer to them that axe me is this.
4 Vai mums nav brīv, ēst un dzert?
Have we not power to eate and to drynke?
5 Vai mums nav brīv kādu māsu vest līdz par sievu, tā kā arī tie citi apustuļi un Tā Kunga brāļi un Kefas?
Ether have we not power to leade about a sister to wyfe as wel as other Apostles and as the brethren of the lorde and Cephas?
6 Jeb vai man un Barnabam vien nav brīv, nestrādāt?
Ether only I and Barnabas have not power this to do?
7 Kas jel iet karā ar savu maizi? Kas vīna kalnu dēsta un neēd no viņa augļiem? Jeb kas lopus gana un neēd no tā piena?
who goeth a warfare eny tyme at his awne cost? who planteth a vynearde and eateth not of the frute? Who fedeth a flocke and eateth not of the mylke?
8 Vai es to runāju pēc cilvēku prāta? Jeb vai to nesaka arī pati bauslība?
Saye I these thinges after the manner of men? Or sayth not the lawe the same also?
9 Jo Mozus bauslībā ir rakstīts: Tev nebūs vērsim, kas labību min, purnu apsiet: vai tad Dievam rūp par vēršiem?
For it ys written in the lawe of Moses. Thou shall not mosell the mouth of the oxe that treadeth out the corne. Doth God take thought for oxen?
10 Jeb vai viņš to visu nesaka mūsu labad? Jo mūsu labad ir rakstīts, ka arājam vajag art uz cerību un kūlējam kult uz cerību, ka viņam būs sava daļa.
Ether sayth he it not all to gedder for oure sakes? For oure sakes no doute this is written: that he which eareth shuld eare in hope: and that he which thressheth in hope shuld be parttaker of his hope.
11 Ja mēs jums to garīgo mantu esam sējuši, vai tad tā liela lieta, ja jūsu miesīgo pļaujam?
Yf we sowe vnto you spirituall thynges: is it a greate thynge yf we reepe youre carnall thynges
12 Ja tad citiem tāda vaļa ir par jums, kāpēc ne jo vairāk mums? Bet mēs šo vaļu neesam lietojuši, bet visu panesam, lai Kristus evaņģēliju neaizkavējam.
Yf other be parttakers of this power over you? wherfore are not we rather. Neverthelesse we have not vsed this power: but suffre all thinges lest we shuld hynder the gospell of Christ.
13 Vai nezināt, ka tie, kas pie svētuma kalpo, no tā svētuma ēd? Un ka tiem, kam darbs ir pie altāra, daļa ir no tā altāra?
Do ye not vnderstoder how that they which minister in the temple have their fyndynge of the temple? And they which wayte at the aulter are partakers with ye aultre?
14 Tāpat arī Tas Kungs ir iestādījis, ka tie, kas evaņģēliju sludina, no evaņģēlija pārtiek.
Even so also dyd ye lorde ordayne that they which preache ye gospell shuld live of the gospell.
15 Bet no tā es nekā neesmu lietojis. Un es to neesmu rakstījis, lai pie manis tā notiek; jo man būtu labāki mirt, nekā ja kāds manu slavu nīcinātu.
But I have vsed none of these thinges. Nether wrote I these thinges that it shuld be so done vnto me. For it were better for me to dye the yt eny man shnld take this reioysinge from me
16 Jo kad es evaņģēliju sludināju, tad man nav ko lielīties; jo tas man jādara; un vai man, ja es evaņģēliju nesludināju!
In that I preache the gospell I have nothinge to reioyce of. For necessite is put vnto me. Wo is it vnto me yf I preache not the gospell.
17 Jo ja es to labprāt daru, tad man ir alga; ja ne labprāt, tad tomēr nama turēšana man ir uzticēta.
If I do it with a good will I have a rewarde. But yf I do it agaynst my will an office is committed vnto me.
18 Kāda alga tad nu man ir? Ka evaņģēliju sludinādams Kristus evaņģēliju mācu bez maksas, lai neizlietoju savu vaļu pie evaņģēlija.
What is my rewarde then? Verely that whe I preache the gospell I make the gospell of Christ fre yt I misvse not myne auctorite in ye gospel
19 Jo no visiem svabads būdams es sevi pašu esmu darījis visiem par kalpu, ka jo vairāk dvēseļu mantotu.
For though I be fre from all men yet have I made my silfe servaunt vnto all men that I myght wynne the moo.
20 Un Jūdiem es esmu tapis par Jūdu, ka Jūdus mantotu; tiem, kas apakš bauslības es esmu tapis kā apakš bauslības, (pats nebūdams apakš bauslības, ) ka mantotu tos, kas apakš bauslības.

21 Tiem, kas bez bauslības, esmu tapis tā kā bez bauslības, (pats nebūdams bez bauslības Dieva priekšā, bet stāvēdams iekš bauslības caur Kristu), ka es tos mantotu, kas bez bauslības.
To them that were without lawe be ca I as though I had bene without lawe (whe I was not without lawe as perteyninge to god but vnder a lawe as concerninge Christ) to wynne the that were without lawe.
22 Vājiem es esmu tapis tā kā vājš, ka mantotu vājos; visiem esmu palicis viss, ka visādi kādus glābtu.
To the weake became I as weake to wynne the weake. In all thinge I fassioned my silfe to all men to save at ye lest waye some.
23 Un to es daru evaņģēlija dēļ, ka man arī kāda daļa pie tā būtu.
And this I do for the gospels sake that I might have my parte therof.
24 Vai nezināt, ka tie, kas iet skrieties, gan visi skrien, bet viens dabū to goda maksu? Skrieniet tā, ka jūs to dabūjiet.
Perceave ye not how that they which runne in a course runne all yet but one receaveth the rewarde. So runne that ye maye obtayne.
25 Bet ikviens, kas cīkstas, savaldās visās lietās, - viņi tāpēc, ka dabūtu iznīcīgu kroni, bet mēs neiznīcīgu.
Euery man yt proveth masteryes abstaineth from all thinges. And they do it to obtayne a corruptible croune: but we to obtayne an vncorruptible croune:
26 Es tad skrienu, ne tā kā uz ko nezināmu, - es cīnos, ne tā kā gaisu sizdams;
I therfore so runne not as at an vncertayne thinge. So fyght I not as one yt beateth the ayer:
27 Bet es savu miesu mērdēju un viņu kalpināju, lai citiem sludinādams pats nekļūstu atmetams.
but I tame my body and bringe it into subieccio lest after that I have preached to other I my silfe shuld be a castawaye.
