Psalmorum 135
1 alleluia laudate nomen Domini laudate servi Dominum
Praise JAH. Praise the name of Jehovah. Praise him, you servants of Jehovah,
2 qui statis in domo Domini in atriis domus Dei nostri
you who stand in the house of Jehovah, in the courts of our God's house.
3 laudate Dominum quia bonus Dominus psallite nomini eius quoniam suave
Praise JAH, for Jehovah is good. Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.
4 quoniam Iacob elegit sibi Dominus Israhel in possessionem sibi
For JAH has chosen Jacob for himself; Israel for his own possession.
5 quia ego cognovi quod magnus est Dominus et Deus noster prae omnibus diis
For I know that Jehovah is great, that our Lord is above all gods.
6 omnia quae voluit Dominus fecit in caelo et in terra in mare et in omnibus abyssis
Whatever Jehovah pleased, that he has done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
7 educens nubes ab extremo terrae fulgora in pluviam fecit qui producit ventos de thesauris suis
who causes the clouds to rise from the farthest parts of the earth; who makes lightnings with the rain; who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries;
8 qui percussit primogenita Aegypti ab homine usque ad pecus
Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and animal;
9 emisit signa et prodigia in medio tui Aegypte in Pharaonem et in omnes servos eius
Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants;
10 qui percussit gentes multas et occidit reges fortes
who struck many nations, and killed mighty kings,

18 similes illis fiant qui faciunt ea et omnes qui sperant in eis

21 benedictus Dominus ex Sion qui habitat in Hierusalem
Blessed be Jehovah from Zion, Who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise JAH.
