< Proverbiorum 31 >
1 verba Lamuhel regis visio qua erudivit eum mater sua
[the] words of Lemuel [the] king an oracle which she instructed him mother his.
2 quid dilecte mi quid dilecte uteri mei quid dilecte votorum meorum
What? O son my and what? O son of womb my and what? O son of vows my.
3 ne dederis mulieribus substantiam tuam et vias tuas ad delendos reges
May not you give to women strength your and ways your to wiping out kings.
4 noli regibus o Lamuhel noli regibus dare vinum quia nullum secretum est ubi regnat ebrietas
May not [it be] for kings - O Lemuel may not [it be] for kings to drink wine and for rulers (where? *Q(K)*) strong drink.
5 ne forte bibat et obliviscatur iudiciorum et mutet causam filiorum pauperis
Lest he should drink and he may forget [what] is decreed and he may change [the] cause of all [the] sons of affliction.
6 date siceram maerentibus et vinum his qui amaro sunt animo
Give strong drink to [one who] is perishing and wine to [people] bitter of soul.
7 bibant ut obliviscantur egestatis suae et doloris non recordentur amplius
He will drink and he may forget poverty his and trouble his not he will remember again.
8 aperi os tuum muto et causis omnium filiorum qui pertranseunt
Open mouth your for [the] dumb to [the] cause of all [the] sons of passing away.
9 aperi os tuum decerne quod iustum est et iudica inopem et pauperem
Open mouth your judge righteousness and plead [the] cause of [the] poor and [the] needy.
10 aleph mulierem fortem quis inveniet procul et de ultimis finibus pretium eius
A wife of ability who? will he find and [is] far more than jewels price her.
11 beth confidit in ea cor viri sui et spoliis non indigebit
It trusts in her [the] heart of husband her and gain not he lacks.
12 gimel reddet ei bonum et non malum omnibus diebus vitae suae
She feeds him good and not evil all [the] days of life her.
13 deleth quaesivit lanam et linum et operata est consilio manuum suarum
She seeks wool and flax and she worked in [the] delight of hands her.
14 he facta est quasi navis institoris de longe portat panem suum
She is like [the] ships of a trader from a distance she brings food her.
15 vav et de nocte surrexit deditque praedam domesticis suis et cibaria ancillis suis
And she rose - when still night and she gave food to household her and an allotted portion to female servants her.
16 zai consideravit agrum et emit eum de fructu manuum suarum plantavit vineam
She considers a field and she took it from [the] fruit of hands her (she plants *Q(K)*) a vineyard.
17 heth accinxit fortitudine lumbos suos et roboravit brachium suum
She girds with strength loins her and she strengthened arms her.
18 teth gustavit quia bona est negotiatio eius non extinguetur in nocte lucerna illius
She perceives that [is] good profit her not it is extinguished (in the night *Q(K)*) lamp her.
19 ioth manum suam misit ad fortia et digiti eius adprehenderunt fusum
Hands her she stretches out on the distaff and palms her they grasp [the] spindle.
20 caph manum suam aperuit inopi et palmas suas extendit ad pauperem
Palm her she spreads out to poor [person] and hands her she stretches out to the needy [person].
21 lameth non timebit domui suae a frigoribus nivis omnes enim domestici eius vestiti duplicibus
Not she is afraid for household her from snow for all household her [is] clothed scarlet.
22 mem stragulam vestem fecit sibi byssus et purpura indumentum eius
Coverings she makes for herself [is] fine linen and purple clothing her.
23 nun nobilis in portis vir eius quando sederit cum senatoribus terrae
[is] known In the gates husband her when sits he with [the] elders of [the] land.
24 samech sindonem fecit et vendidit et cingulum tradidit Chananeo
Linen garment[s] she makes and she sold and a belt she supplies to the merchants.
25 ain fortitudo et decor indumentum eius et ridebit in die novissimo
[is] strength And honor clothing her and she laughed to a day future.
26 phe os suum aperuit sapientiae et lex clementiae in lingua eius
Mouth her she opens with wisdom and instruction of loyalty [is] on tongue her.
27 sade considerat semitas domus suae et panem otiosa non comedet
[she is] watching over [the] ways of Household her and [the] bread of laziness not she eats.
28 coph surrexerunt filii eius et beatissimam praedicaverunt vir eius et laudavit eam
They rise up sons her and they called blessed her husband her and he praised her.
29 res multae filiae congregaverunt divitias tu supergressa es universas
Many daughters they have done ability and you you have gone up above all of them.
30 sin fallax gratia et vana est pulchritudo mulier timens Dominum ipsa laudabitur
[is] deception Grace and [is] vanity beauty a woman fearing Yahweh she she will be praised.
31 thau date ei de fructu manuum suarum et laudent eam in portis opera eius
Give to her some of [the] fruit of hands her and let them praise her in the gates work her.
