5 filii Iafeth Gomer Magog Madai et Iavan Thubal Mosoch Thiras
The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 porro filii Gomer Aschenez et Rifath et Thogorma
And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
7 filii autem Iavan Elisa et Tharsis Cetthim et Dodanim
Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 filii Ham Chus et Mesraim Phut et Chanaan
The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
9 filii autem Chus Saba et Evila Sabatha et Rechma et Sabathaca porro filii Rechma Saba et Dadan
And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
10 Chus autem genuit Nemrod iste coepit esse potens in terra
And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
11 Mesraim vero genuit Ludim et Anamim et Laabim et Nepthuim
And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
12 Phethrosim quoque et Chasluim de quibus egressi sunt Philisthim et Capthurim
Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
13 Chanaan vero genuit Sidonem primogenitum et Heth
Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
14 Iebuseum quoque et Amorreum et Gergeseum
And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 Evheumque et Aruceum et Asineum
And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,
16 Aradium quoque et Samareum et Ematheum
And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 filii Sem Aelam et Assur et Arfaxad et Lud et Aram et Us et Hul et Gothor et Mosoch
The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arfaxad autem genuit Sala qui et ipse genuit Heber
Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
19 porro Heber nati sunt duo filii nomen uni Phaleg quia in diebus eius divisa est terra et nomen fratris eius Iectan
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
20 Iectan autem genuit Helmodad et Saleph et Asermoth et Iare
Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
21 Aduram quoque et Uzal et Decla
And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
22 Ebal etiam et Abimahel et Saba necnon
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 et Ophir et Evila et Iobab omnes isti filii Iectan
And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.

The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
29 et hae generationes eorum primogenitus Ismahelis Nabaioth et Cedar et Adbeel et Mabsam
These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 Masma et Duma Massa Adad et Thema
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Iathur Naphis Cedma hii sunt filii Ismahelis
Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
32 filii autem Cetthurae concubinae Abraham quos genuit Zamram Iecsan Madan Madian Iesboc Sue porro filii Iecsan Saba et Dadan
And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
33 filii autem Madian Epha et Apher et Enoch et Abida et Eldaa omnes hii filii Cetthurae
And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
34 generavit autem Abraham Isaac cuius fuerunt filii Esau et Israhel
And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
35 filii Esau Eliphaz Rauhel Iaus Ialam Core
The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
36 filii Eliphaz Theman Omer Sepphu Gethem Cenez Thamna Amalech
The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 filii Rauhel Naath Zara Samma Maza
The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
38 filii Seir Lothan Sobal Sebeon Ana Dison Eser Disan
And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 filii Lothan Horri Humam soror autem Lothan fuit Thamna
And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
40 filii Sobal Alian et Manaath et Ebal et Sepphi et Onam filii Sebeon Aia et Ana filii Ana Dison
The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 filii Dison Amaran et Eseban et Iethran et Charan
The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 filii Eser Balaan et Zaban et Iacan filii Dison Us et Aran
The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
43 isti sunt reges qui imperaverunt in terra Edom antequam esset rex super filios Israhel Bale filius Beor et nomen civitatis eius Denaba
And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
44 mortuus est autem Bale et regnavit pro eo Iobab filius Zare de Bosra
Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 cumque et Iobab fuisset mortuus regnavit pro eo Husam de terra Themanorum
And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 obiit quoque et Husam et regnavit pro eo Adad filius Badad qui percussit Madian in terra Moab et nomen civitatis eius Avith
And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
47 cumque et Adad fuisset mortuus regnavit pro eo Semla de Masreca
So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
48 sed et Semla mortuus est et regnavit pro eo Saul de Rooboth quae iuxta amnem sita est
And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
49 mortuo quoque Saul regnavit pro eo Baalanan filius Achobor
And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 sed et hic mortuus est et regnavit pro eo Adad cuius urbis fuit nomen Phou et appellata est uxor eius Mehetabel filia Matred filiae Mezaab
And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Adad autem mortuo duces pro regibus in Edom esse coeperunt dux Thamna dux Alva dux Ietheth
Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
52 dux Oolibama dux Hela dux Phinon
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 dux Cenez dux Theman dux Mabsar
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 dux Magdihel dux Iram hii duces Edom
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
