< Psalmorum 112 >

Halleluyah ·praise Yah·! א Blessed is the man who fears Adonai, בּ who delights greatly in his mitzvot ·instructions·.
2 Potens in terra erit semen eius: generatio rectorum benedicetur.
His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
ה Wealth and riches are in his house. ו His righteousness endures forever.
ז Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, ח gracious, merciful, and righteous.
5 Iucundus homo qui miseretur et commodat, disponet sermones suos in iudicio:
ט It is well with the man who is merciful and lends. י He will maintain his cause in judgment.
6 quia in aeternum non commovebitur.
For he will never be shaken. ל The upright will be remembered forever.
מ He will not be afraid of evil news. נ His heart is steadfast, trusting in Adonai.
ס His heart is established. ע He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
9 Dispersit, dedit pauperibus: iustitia eius manet in saeculum saeculi, cornu eius exaltabitur in gloria.
He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. צ His righteousness endures forever. ק His horn will be exalted with kavod ·weighty glory·.
10 Peccator videbit, et irascetur, dentibus suis fremet et tabescet: desiderium peccatorum peribit.
ר The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
