Et laudavit dominus villicum iniquitatis, quia prudenter fecisset: quia filii huius saeculi prudentiores filiis lucis in generatione sua sunt. (aiōn )
'And the lord commended the unrighteous steward that he did prudently, because the sons of this age are more prudent than the sons of the light, in respect to their generation.
and I say to you, Make to yourselves friends out of the mammon of unrighteousness, that when ye may fail, they may receive you to the age-during tabernacles.
and in the hades having lifted up his eyes, being in torments, he doth see Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom, (Hadēs )
Et interrogavit eum quidam princeps, dicens: Magister bone, quid faciens vitam aeternam possidebo? (aiōnios )
And a certain ruler questioned him, saying, 'Good teacher, what having done — shall I inherit life age-during?'
who may not receive back manifold more in this time, and in the coming age, life age-during.'
And Jesus answering said to them, 'The sons of this age do marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn )
but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the rising again that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage; (aiōn )
that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during, (aiōnios )
for God did so love the world, that His Son — the only begotten — He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.
he who is believing in the Son, hath life age-during; and he who is not believing the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God doth remain upon him.'
but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst — to the age; and the water that I will give him shall become in him a well of water, springing up to life age-during.'
'And he who is reaping doth receive a reward, and doth gather fruit to life age-during, that both he who is sowing and he who is reaping may rejoice together; (aiōnios )
Amen, amen dico vobis, quia qui verbum meum audit, et credit ei, qui misit me, habet vitam aeternam, et in iudicium non venit, sed transiet a morte in vitam. (aiōnios )
'Verily, verily, I say to you — He who is hearing my word, and is believing Him who sent me, hath life age-during, and to judgment he doth not come, but hath passed out of the death to the life.
'Ye search the Writings, because ye think in them to have life age-during, and these are they that are testifying concerning me; (aiōnios )
work not for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to life age-during, which the Son of Man will give to you, for him did the Father seal — [even] God.'
and this is the will of Him who sent me, that every one who is beholding the Son, and is believing in him, may have life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day.' (aiōnios )
Amen, amen dico vobis: Qui credit in me, habet vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
'Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is believing in me, hath life age-during; (aiōnios )
'I am the living bread that came down out of the heaven; if any one may eat of this bread he shall live — to the age; and the bread also that I will give is my flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.'
he who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, hath life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day; (aiōnios )
this is the bread that came down out of the heaven; not as your fathers did eat the manna, and died; he who is eating this bread shall live — to the age.' (aiōn )
Respondit ergo ei Simon Petrus: Domine, ad quem ibimus? verba vitae aeternae habes. (aiōnios )
Simon Peter, therefore, answered him, 'Sir, unto whom shall we go? thou hast sayings of life age-during; (aiōnios )
and the servant doth not remain in the house — to the age, the son doth remain — to the age; (aiōn )
Amen, amen dico vobis: si quis sermonem meum servaverit, mortem non videbit in aeternum. (aiōn )
verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may keep my word, death he may not see — to the age.' (aiōn )
Dixerunt ergo Iudaei: Nunc cognovimus quia daemonium habes.
The Jews, therefore, said to him, 'Now we have known that thou hast a demon; Abraham did die, and the prophets, and thou dost say, If any one may keep my word, he shall not taste of death — to the age! (aiōn )
A saeculo non est auditum quia quis aperuit oculos caeci nati. (aiōn )
from the age it was not heard, that any one did open eyes of one who hath been born blind; (aiōn )
and life age-during I give to them, and they shall not perish — to the age, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand; (aiōn , aiōnios )
and every one who is living and believing in me shall not die — to the age; (aiōn )
he who is loving his life shall lose it, and he who is hating his life in this world — to life age-during shall keep it; (aiōnios )
Respondit ei turba: Nos audivimus ex lege, quia Christus manet in aeternum: et quomodo tu dicis, Oportet exaltari Filium hominis? Et quis est iste Filius hominis? (aiōn )
the multitude answered him, 'We heard out of the law that the Christ doth remain — to the age; and how dost thou say, That it behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up? who is this — the Son of Man?'
and I have known that His command is life age-during; what, therefore, I speak, according as the Father hath said to me, so I speak.' (aiōnios )
Dicit ei Petrus: Non lavabis mihi pedes in aeternum. Respondit ei Iesus: Si non lavero te, non habebis partem mecum. (aiōn )
Peter saith to him, 'Thou mayest not wash my feet — to the age.' Jesus answered him, 'If I may not wash thee, thou hast no part with me;' (aiōn )
and I will ask the Father, and another Comforter He will give to you, that he may remain with you — to the age; (aiōn )
Sicut dedisti ei potestatem omnis carnis, ut omne, quod dedisti ei, det eis vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
according as Thou didst give to him authority over all flesh, that — all that Thou hast given to him — he may give to them life age-during; (aiōnios )
and this is the life age-during, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send — Jesus Christ; (aiōnios )
because Thou wilt not leave my soul to hades, nor wilt Thou give Thy Kind One to see corruption; (Hadēs )
having foreseen, he did speak concerning the rising again of the Christ, that his soul was not left to hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
quem oportet quidem caelum suscipere usque in tempora restitutionis omnium, quae locutus est Deus per os sanctorum suorum a saeculo Prophetarum. (aiōn )
whom it behoveth heaven, indeed, to receive till times of a restitution of all things, of which God spake through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age.
And speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, 'To you it was necessary that first the word of God be spoken, and seeing ye do thrust it away, and do not judge yourselves worthy of the life age-during, lo, we do turn to the nations; (aiōnios )
And the nations hearing were glad, and were glorifying the word of the Lord, and did believe — as many as were appointed to life age-during; (aiōnios )
Notum a saeculo est Domino opus suum. (aiōn )
'Known from the ages to God are all His works; (aiōn )
for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world, by the things made being understood, are plainly seen, both His eternal power and Godhead — to their being inexcusable; (aïdios )
Amen. (aiōn )
who did change the truth of God into a falsehood, and did honour and serve the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed to the ages. Amen.
to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, do seek glory, and honour, and incorruptibility — life age-during; (aiōnios )
that even as the sin did reign in the death, so also the grace may reign, through righteousness, to life age-during, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
Nunc vero liberati a peccato, servi autem facti Deo, habetis fructum vestrum in sanctificationem, finem vero vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
And now, having been freed from the sin, and having become servants to God, ye have your fruit — to sanctification, and the end life age-during; (aiōnios )
Stipendia enim peccati, mors. Gratia autem Dei, vita aeterna, in Christo Iesu Domino nostro. (aiōnios )
for the wages of the sin [is] death, and the gift of God [is] life age-during in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amen. (aiōn )
whose [are] the fathers, and of whom [is] the Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed to the ages. Amen.
(Abyssos )
or, 'Who shall go down to the abyss,' that is, Christ out of the dead to bring up. (Abyssos )
for God did shut up together the whole to unbelief, that to the whole He might do kindness.
Amen. (aiōn )
because of Him, and through Him, and to Him [are] the all things; to Him [is] the glory — to the ages. Amen.
and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God — the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
And to Him who is able to establish you, according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, in the times of the ages having been kept silent, (aiōnios )
and now having been made manifest, also, through prophetic writings, according to a command of the age-during God, having been made known to all the nations for obedience of faith — (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to him [be] glory to the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Ubi sapiens? ubi scriba? ubi conquisitor huius saeculi? Nonne stultam fecit Deus sapientiam huius mundi? (aiōn )
where [is] the wise? where the scribe? where a disputer of this age? did not God make foolish the wisdom of this world?
And wisdom we speak among the perfect, and wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age — of those becoming useless, (aiōn )
but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory, (aiōn )
which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified; (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself; if any one doth seem to be wise among you in this age — let him become a fool, that he may become wise, (aiōn )
Quapropter si esca scandalizat fratrem meum: non manducabo carnem in aeternum, ne fratrem meum scandalizem. (aiōn )
wherefore, if victuals cause my brother to stumble, I may eat no flesh — to the age — that my brother I may not cause to stumble.
And all these things as types did happen to those persons, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages did come, (aiōn )
Ubi est mors victoria tua? ubi est mors stimulus tuus? (Hadēs )
where, O Death, thy sting? where, O Hades, thy victory?'
in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there doth not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God; (aiōn )
for the momentary light matter of our tribulation, more and more exceedingly an age-during weight of glory doth work out for us — (aiōnios )
we not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen [are] temporary, but the things not seen [are] age-during.
For we have known that if our earthly house of the tabernacle may be thrown down, a building from God we have, an house not made with hands — age-during — in the heavens, (aiōnios )
(according as it hath been written, 'He dispersed abroad, he gave to the poor, his righteousness doth remain to the age,') (aiōn )
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ — who is blessed to the ages — hath known that I do not lie!
who did give himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of God even our Father, (aiōn )
cui est gloria in saecula saeculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages. Amen.
because he who is sowing to his own flesh, of the flesh shall reap corruption; and he who is sowing to the Spirit, of the Spirit shall reap life age-during; (aiōnios )
far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one; (aiōn )
in quibus aliquando ambulastis secundum saeculum mundi huius, secundum principem potestatis aeris huius, spiritus, qui nunc operatur in filios diffidentiae, (aiōn )
in which once ye did walk according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn )
ut ostenderet in saeculis supervenientibus abundantes divitias gratiae suae in bonitate super nos in Christo Iesu. (aiōn )
that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, (aiōn )
and to cause all to see what [is] the fellowship of the secret that hath been hid from the ages in God, who the all things did create by Jesus Christ, (aiōn )
secundum praefinitionem saeculorum, quam fecit in Christo Iesu Domino nostro: (aiōn )
according to a purpose of the ages, which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord, (aiōn )
Ipsi gloria in Ecclesia, et in Christo Iesu in omnes generationes saeculi saeculorum. Amen. (aiōn )
to Him [is] the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.
because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places; (aiōn )
and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory — to the ages of the ages. Amen.
the secret that hath been hid from the ages and from the generations, but now was manifested to his saints, (aiōn )
qui poenas dabunt in interitu aeternas a facie Domini, et a gloria virtutis eius: (aiōnios )
who shall suffer justice — destruction age-during — from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his strength, (aiōnios )
and may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who did love us, and did give comfort age-during, and good hope in grace, (aiōnios )
but because of this I found kindness, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long-suffering, for a pattern of those about to believe on him to life age-during: (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
and to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only wise God, [is] honour and glory — to the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
Certa bonum certamen fidei, apprehende vitam aeternam, in qua vocatus es, et confessus bonam confessionem coram multis testibus. (aiōnios )
be striving the good strife of the faith, be laying hold on the life age-during, to which also thou wast called, and didst profess the right profession before many witnesses.
who only is having immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, whom no one of men did see, nor is able to see, to whom [is] honour and might age-during! Amen.
Those rich in the present age charge thou not to be high-minded, nor to hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who is giving to us all things richly for enjoyment; — (aiōn )
who did save us, and did call with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages, (aiōnios )
because of this all things do I endure, because of the choice ones, that they also salvation may obtain that [is] in Christ Jesus, with glory age-during.
for Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went on to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia, (aiōn )
Liberavit me Dominus ab omni opere malo: et salvum faciet in regnum suum caeleste, cui gloria in saecula saeculorum. Amen. (aiōn )
and the Lord shall free me from every evil work, and shall save [me] — to his heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages! Amen.
upon hope of life age-during, which God, who doth not lie, did promise before times of ages, (aiōnios )
teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, soberly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age, (aiōn )
ut iustificati gratia ipsius, heredes simus secundum spem vitae aeternae. (aiōnios )
that having been declared righteous by His grace, heirs we may become according to the hope of life age-during.
for perhaps because of this he did depart for an hour, that age-duringly thou mayest have him, (aiōnios )
in these last days did speak to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He did make the ages; (aiōn )
Ad filium autem: Thronus tuus Deus in saeculum saeculi: virga aequitatis, virga regni tui. (aiōn )
and unto the Son: 'Thy throne, O God, [is] to the age of the age; a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy reign; (aiōn )
Quemadmodum et in alio loco dicit: Tu es sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. (aiōn )
as also in another [place] He saith, 'Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;' (aiōn )
and having been made perfect, he did become to all those obeying him a cause of salvation age-during, (aiōnios )
of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on also of hands, of rising again also of the dead, and of judgment age-during, (aiōnios )
gustaverunt nihilominus bonum Dei verbum, virtutesque saeculi venturi, (aiōn )
and did taste the good saying of God, the powers also of the coming age, (aiōn )
ubi praecursor pro nobis introivit Iesus, secundum ordinem Melchisedech pontifex factus in aeternum. (aiōn )
whither a forerunner for us did enter — Jesus, after the order of Melchisedek chief priest having become — to the age. (aiōn )
Contestatur enim: Quoniam tu es sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. (aiōn )
for He doth testify — 'Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;' (aiōn )
and he with an oath through Him who is saying unto him, 'The Lord sware, and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;') (aiōn )
and he, because of his remaining — to the age, hath the priesthood not transient, (aiōn )
for the law doth appoint men chief priests, having infirmity, but the word of the oath that [is] after the law [appointeth] the Son — to the age having been perfected.
neither through blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, did enter in once into the holy places, age-during redemption having obtained; (aiōnios )
how much more shall the blood of the Christ (who through the age-during Spirit did offer himself unblemished to God) purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And because of this, of a new covenant he is mediator, that, death having come, for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those called may receive the promise of the age-during inheritance, (aiōnios )
since it had behoved him many times to suffer from the foundation of the world, but now once, at the full end of the ages, for putting away of sin through his sacrifice, he hath been manifested; (aiōn )
by faith we understand the ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen not having come out of things appearing; (aiōn )
Iesus Christus heri, et hodie: ipse et in saecula. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ yesterday and to-day the same, and to the ages; (aiōn )
And the God of the peace, who did bring up out of the dead the great shepherd of the sheep — in the blood of an age-during covenant — our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom [is] the glory — to the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
Et lingua ignis est, universitas iniquitatis. Lingua constituitur in membris nostris, quae maculat totum corpus, et inflammat rotam nativitatis nostrae inflammata a gehenna. (Geenna )
and the tongue [is] a fire, the world of the unrighteousness, so the tongue is set in our members, which is spotting our whole body, and is setting on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by the gehenna. (Geenna )
being begotten again, not out of seed corruptible, but incorruptible, through a word of God — living and remaining — to the age; (aiōn )
and the saying of the Lord doth remain — to the age; and this is the saying that was proclaimed good news to you.
if any one doth speak — 'as oracles of God;' if any one doth minister — 'as of the ability which God doth supply;' that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power — to the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Deus autem omnis gratiae, qui vocavit nos in aeternam suam gloriam in Christo Iesu, modicum passos ipse perficiet, confirmabit, solidabitque. (aiōnios )
And the God of all grace, who did call you to His age-during glory in Christ Jesus, having suffered a little, Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle [you]; (aiōnios )
Ipsi gloria, et imperium in saecula saeculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
to Him [is] the glory, and the power — to the ages and the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
Sic enim abundanter ministrabitur vobis introitus in aeternum regnum Domini nostri, et Salvatoris Iesu Christi. (aiōnios )
for so, richly shall be superadded to you the entrance into the age-during reign of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
For if God messengers who sinned did not spare, but with chains of thick gloom, having cast [them] down to Tartarus, did deliver [them] to judgment, having been reserved, (Tartaroō )
crescite vero in gratia, et in cognitione Domini nostri, et Salvatoris Iesu Christi. Ipsi gloria et nunc, et in diem aeternitatis. Amen. (aiōn )
and increase ye in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; to him [is] the glory both now, and to the day of the age! Amen.
and the Life was manifested, and we have seen, and do testify, and declare to you the Life, the age-during, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us — (aiōnios )
and the world doth pass away, and the desire of it, and he who is doing the will of God, he doth remain — to the age.
and this is the promise that He did promise us — the life the age-during.
Every one who is hating his brother — a man-killer he is, and ye have known that no man-killer hath life age-during in him remaining, (aiōnios )
and this is the testimony, that life age-during did God give to us, and this — the life — is in His Son; (aiōnios )
Haec scribo vobis: ut sciatis quoniam vitam habetis aeternam, qui creditis in nomine Filii Dei. (aiōnios )
These things I did write to you who are believing in the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that life ye have age-during, and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God.
and we have known that the Son of God is come, and hath given us a mind, that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ; this one is the true God and the life age-during!
because of the truth that is remaining in us, and with us shall be to the age, (aiōn )
messengers also, those who did not keep their own principality, but did leave their proper dwelling, to a judgment of a great day, in bonds everlasting, under darkness He hath kept, (aïdios )
as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these, having given themselves to whoredom, and gone after other flesh, have been set before — an example, of fire age-during, justice suffering. (aiōnios )
fluctus feri maris, despumantes suas confusiones, sidera errantia: quibus procella tenebrarum servata est in aeternum. (aiōn )
wild waves of a sea, foaming out their own shames; stars going astray, to whom the gloom of the darkness to the age hath been kept. (aiōn )
vosmetipsos in dilectione Dei servate, expectantes misericordiam Domini nostri Iesu Christi in vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
yourselves in the love of God keep ye, waiting for the kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ — to life age-during; (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
to the only wise God our Saviour, [is] glory and greatness, power and authority, both now and to all the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
et fecit nos regnum, et sacerdotes Deo et Patri suo: ipsi gloria, et imperium in saecula saeculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
and did make us kings and priests to his God and Father, to him [is] the glory and the power to the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
et vivus, et fui mortuus, et ecce sum vivens in saecula saeculorum, et habeo claves mortis, et inferni. (aiōn , Hadēs )
and he who is living, and I did become dead, and, lo, I am living to the ages of the ages. Amen! and I have the keys of the hades and of the death.
and when the living creatures do give glory, and honour, and thanks, to Him who is sitting upon the throne, who is living to the ages of the ages, (aiōn )
procidebant vigintiquattuor seniores ante sedentem in throno, et adorabant viventem in saecula saeculorum, et mittebant coronas suas ante thronum dicentes: (aiōn )
fall down do the twenty and four elders before Him who is sitting upon the throne, and bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn )
and every creature that is in the heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth, and the things that are upon the sea, and the all things in them, heard I saying, 'To Him who is sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, [is] the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the might — to the ages of the ages!'
and I saw, and lo, a pale horse, and he who is sitting upon him — his name is Death, and Hades doth follow with him, and there was given to them authority to kill, (over the fourth part of the land, ) with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the land. (Hadēs )
dicentes, Amen. Benedictio, et claritas, et sapientia, et gratiarum actio, honor, et virtus, et fortitudo Deo nostro in saecula saeculorum, Amen. (aiōn )
saying, 'Amen! the blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the strength, [are] to our God — to the ages of the ages! Amen!'
(Abyssos )
And the fifth messenger did sound, and I saw a star out of the heaven having fallen to the earth, and there was given to it the key of the pit of the abyss, (Abyssos )
and he did open the pit of the abyss, and there came up a smoke out of the pit as smoke of a great furnace, and darkened was the sun and the air, from the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos )
et habebant super se regem angelum abyssi, cui nomen Hebraice Abaddon, Graece autem Apollyon, Latine habens nomen Exterminans. (Abyssos )
and they have over them a king — the messenger of the abyss — a name [is] to him in Hebrew, Abaddon, and in the Greek he hath a name, Apollyon. (Abyssos )
and did swear in Him who doth live to the ages of the ages, who did create the heaven and the things in it, and the land and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it — that time shall not be yet, (aiōn )
(Abyssos )
'And when they may finish their testimony, the beast that is coming up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them, (Abyssos )
And the seventh messenger did sound, and there came great voices in the heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of the world did become [those] of our Lord and of His Christ, and he shall reign to the ages of the ages!'
And I saw another messenger flying in mid-heaven, having good news age-during to proclaim to those dwelling upon the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios )
and the smoke of their torment doth go up to ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are bowing before the beast and his image, also if any doth receive the mark of his name. (aiōn )
Et unum de quattuor animalibus dedit septem Angelis septem phialas aureas, plenas iracundiae Dei viventis in saecula saeculorum. (aiōn )
and one of the four living creatures did give to the seven messengers seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who is living to the ages of the ages; (aiōn )
(Abyssos )
'The beast that thou didst see: it was, and it is not; and it is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go away to destruction, and wonder shall those dwelling upon the earth, whose names have not been written upon the scroll of the life from the foundation of the world, beholding the beast that was, and is not, although it is. (Abyssos )
Et iterum dixerunt: Alleluia. Et fumus eius ascendit in saecula saeculorum. (aiōn )
and a second time they said, 'Alleluia;' and her smoke doth come up — to the ages of the ages!
and the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who did the signs before him, in which he led astray those who did receive the mark of the beast, and those who did bow before his image; living they were cast — the two — to the lake of the fire, that is burning with brimstone; (Limnē Pyr )
(Abyssos )
And I saw a messenger coming down out of the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain over his hand, (Abyssos )
(Abyssos )
and he cast him to the abyss, and did shut him up, and put a seal upon him, that he may not lead astray the nations any more, till the thousand years may be finished; and after these it behoveth him to be loosed a little time. (Abyssos )
and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where [are] the beast and the false prophet, and they shall be tormented day and night — to the ages of the ages. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
et dedit mare mortuos, qui in eo erant: et mors, et infernus dederunt mortuos suos, qui in ipsis erant: et iudicatum est de singulis secundum opera ipsorum. (Hadēs )
and the sea did give up those dead in it, and the death and the hades did give up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works; (Hadēs )
and the death and the hades were cast to the lake of the fire — this [is] the second death; (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
and if any one was not found written in the scroll of the life, he was cast to the lake of the fire.
and to fearful, and unstedfast, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their part [is] in the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone, which is a second death.'
and night shall not be there, and they have no need of a lamp and light of a sun, because the Lord God doth give them light, and they shall reign — to the ages of the ages. (aiōn )
Nisi quia Dominus adiuvit me: paulominus habitasset in inferno anima mea. ()
