1 Expletis autem viginti annis postquam aedificavit Salomon domum Domini et domum suam:

And it was from [the] end of - twenty year[s] which he built Solomon [the] house of Yahweh and own house his.

2 civitates, quas dederat Hiram Salomoni, aedificavit, et habitare ibi fecit filios Israel.

And the cities which he had given Huram to Solomon he rebuilt Solomon them and he caused to dwell there [the] people of Israel.

3 Abiit quoque in Emath Suba, et obtinuit eam.

And he went Solomon to Hamath Zobah and he prevailed over it.

4 Et aedificavit Palmiram in deserto, et alias civitates munitissimas aedificavit in Emath.

And he built Tadmor in the wilderness and all [the] cities of storage which he built in Hamath.

5 Extruxitque Bethoron superiorem, et Bethoron inferiorem, civitates muratas habentes portas et vectes et seras:

And he built Beth Horon upper and Beth Horon lower cities of fortification walls doors and bar[s].

6 Balaath etiam et omnes urbes firmissimas, quae fuerunt Salomonis, cunctasque urbes quadrigarum, et urbes equitum. omnia quaecumque voluit Salomon atque disposuit, aedificavit in Ierusalem et in Libano, et in universa terra potestatis suae.

And Baalath and all [the] cities of storage which they belonged to Solomon and all [the] cities of chariotry and [the] cities of the horsemen and - all [the] desire of Solomon which he desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all [the] land of dominion his.

7 Omnem populum, qui derelictus fuerat de Hethaeis, et Amorrhaeis, et Pherezaeis, et Hevaeis, et Iebusaeis, qui non erant de stirpe Israel,

All the people which remained of the Hittite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s] which not [were] from Israel they.

8 de filiis eorum: et de posteris, quos non interfecerant filii Israel, subiugavit Salomon in tributarios, usque in diem hanc.

Some of descendants their who they remained after them in the land whom not they had destroyed them [the] people of Israel and he brought up them Solomon to forced labor until the day this.

9 Porro de filiis Israel non posuit ut servirent operibus regis: ipsi enim erant viri bellatores, et duces primi, et principes quadrigarum et equitum eius.

And of [the] people of Israel whom not he made Solomon into slaves for work his for they [were] men of war and [the] commanders of officers his and [the] commanders of chariotry his and horsemen his.

10 Omnes autem principes exercitus regis Salomonis fuerunt ducenti quinquaginta, qui erudiebant populum.

And these [were] [the] commanders of (the overseers *Q(K)*) who [belonged] to the king Solomon fifty and two hundred who ruled over the people.

11 Filiam vero Pharaonis transtulit de Civitate David in domum, quam aedificaverat ei. Dixit enim rex: Non habitabit uxor mea in domo David regis Israel, eo quod sanctificata sit: quia ingressa est in eam arca Domini.

And [the] daughter of Pharaoh he brought up Solomon from [the] city of David to the house which he had built for her for he said not she will dwell a wife of me in [the] house of David [the] king of Israel for [are] holiness they [places] where it has come to them [the] ark of Yahweh.

12 Tunc obtulit Salomon holocausta Domino super altare Domini, quod extruxerat ante porticum,

Then he offered up Solomon burnt offerings to Yahweh on [the] altar of Yahweh which he had built before the porch.

13 ut per singulos dies offerretur in eo iuxta praeceptum Moysi in sabbatis et in calendis, et in festis diebus, ter per annum, id est, in sollemnitate azymorum, et in sollemnitatem hebdomadarum, et in sollemnitate tabernaculorum.

And a matter of a day in a day to offer up according to [the] commandment of Moses for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed times three times in the year at [the] festival of the unleavened bread and at [the] festival of the weeks and at [the] festival of booths.

14 Et constituit iuxta dispositionem David patris sui officia Sacerdotum in ministeriis suis: et Levitas in ordine suo, ut laudarent, et ministrarent coram Sacerdotibus iuxta ritum uniuscuiusque diei: et ianitores in divisionibus suis per portam et portam: sic enim praeceperat David homo Dei.

And he appointed according to [the] ordinance of David father his [the] divisions of the priests on service their and the Levites on duties their to praise and to serve before the priests to [the] matter of a day in day its and the gatekeepers by divisions their for a gate and a gate for [was] thus [the] commandment of David [the] man of God.

15 Nec praetergressi sunt de mandatis regis tam Sacerdotes, quam Levitae ex omnibus, quae praeceperat, etiam in custodiis thesaurorum.

16 Omnes impensas praeparatas habuit Salomon ex eo die, quo fundavit domum Domini usque in diem, quo perfecit eam.

And it was arranged all [the] work of Solomon until the day of [the] foundation of [the] house of Yahweh and until was complete it [was] complete [the] house of Yahweh.

17 Tunc abiit Salomon in Asiongaber, et in Ailath ad oram Maris rubri, quae est in Terra Edom.

Then he went Solomon to Ezion Geber and to Elath on [the] shore of the sea in [the] land of Edom.

18 Misit autem ei Hiram per manus servorum suorum naves, et nautas gnaros maris, et abierunt cum servis Salomonis in Ophir, tuleruntque inde quadringenta quinquaginta talenta auri, et attulerunt ad regem Salomonem.

And he sent to him Huram by [the] hand of servants his (ships *Q(k)*) and servants [who] knew [the] sea and they went with [the] servants of Solomon Ophir towards and they took from there four hundred and fifty talent[s] of gold and they brought [it] to the king Solomon.
