< Psalmorum 93 >
1 Laus cantici ipsi David, in die ante sabbatum, quando fundata est terra. Dominus regnavit, decorem indutus est: indutus est Dominus fortitudinem, et præcinxit se. Etenim firmavit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur.
The LORD reigns! He is clothed with majesty! The LORD is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can’t be moved.
2 Parata sedes tua ex tunc; a sæculo tu es.
Your throne is established from long ago. You are from everlasting.
3 Elevaverunt flumina, Domine, elevaverunt flumina vocem suam; elevaverunt flumina fluctus suos,
The floods have lifted up, LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.
4 a vocibus aquarum multarum. Mirabiles elationes maris; mirabilis in altis Dominus.
Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty.
5 Testimonia tua credibilia facta sunt nimis; domum tuam decet sanctitudo, Domine, in longitudinem dierum.
Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns your house, LORD, forever more.
