1 Et cum appropinquarent Jerosolymæ et Bethaniæ ad montem Olivarum, mittit duos ex discipulis suis,
anantaraṁ tēṣu yirūśālamaḥ samīpasthayō rbaitphagībaithanīyapurayōrantikasthaṁ jaitunanāmādrimāgatēṣu yīśuḥ prēṣaṇakālē dvau śiṣyāvidaṁ vākyaṁ jagāda,
2 et ait illis: Ite in castellum, quod contra vos est, et statim introëuntes illuc, invenietis pullum ligatum, super quem nemo adhuc hominum sedit: solvite illum, et adducite.
yuvāmamuṁ sammukhasthaṁ grāmaṁ yātaṁ, tatra praviśya yō naraṁ nāvahat taṁ garddabhaśāvakaṁ drakṣyathastaṁ mōcayitvānayataṁ|
3 Et si quis vobis dixerit: Quid facitis? dicite, quia Domino necessarius est: et continuo illum dimittet huc.
kintu yuvāṁ karmmēdaṁ kutaḥ kuruthaḥ? kathāmimāṁ yadi kōpi pr̥cchati tarhi prabhōratra prayōjanamastīti kathitē sa śīghraṁ tamatra prēṣayiṣyati|
4 Et abeuntes invenerunt pullum ligatum ante januam foris in bivio: et solvunt eum.
tatastau gatvā dvimārgamēlanē kasyacid dvārasya pārśvē taṁ garddabhaśāvakaṁ prāpya mōcayataḥ,
5 Et quidam de illic stantibus dicebant illis: Quid facitis solventes pullum?
ētarhi tatrōpasthitalōkānāṁ kaścid apr̥cchat, garddabhaśiśuṁ kutō mōcayathaḥ?
6 Qui dixerunt eis sicut præceperat illis Jesus, et dimiserunt eis.
tadā yīśōrājñānusārēṇa tēbhyaḥ pratyuditē tatkṣaṇaṁ tamādātuṁ tē'nujajñuḥ|
7 Et duxerunt pullum ad Jesum: et imponunt illi vestimenta sua, et sedit super eum.
atha tau yīśōḥ sannidhiṁ garddabhaśiśum ānīya tadupari svavastrāṇi pātayāmāsatuḥ; tataḥ sa tadupari samupaviṣṭaḥ|
8 Multi autem vestimenta sua straverunt in via: alii autem frondes cædebant de arboribus, et sternebant in via.
tadānēkē pathi svavāsāṁsi pātayāmāsuḥ, paraiśca taruśākhāśchitavā mārgē vikīrṇāḥ|
9 Et qui præibant, et qui sequebantur, clamabant, dicentes: Hosanna: benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini:
aparañca paścādgāminō'gragāminaśca sarvvē janā ucaiḥsvarēṇa vaktumārēbhirē, jaya jaya yaḥ paramēśvarasya nāmnāgacchati sa dhanya iti|
10 benedictum quod venit regnum patris nostri David: hosanna in excelsis.
tathāsmākamaṁ pūrvvapuruṣasya dāyūdō yadrājyaṁ paramēśvaranāmnāyāti tadapi dhanyaṁ, sarvvasmāducchrāyē svargē īśvarasya jayō bhavēt|
11 Et introivit Jerosolymam in templum: et circumspectis omnibus, cum jam vespera esset hora, exiit in Bethaniam cum duodecim.
itthaṁ yīśu ryirūśālami mandiraṁ praviśya caturdiksthāni sarvvāṇi vastūni dr̥ṣṭavān; atha sāyaṁkāla upasthitē dvādaśaśiṣyasahitō baithaniyaṁ jagāma|
12 Et alia die cum exirent a Bethania, esuriit.
aparēhani baithaniyād āgamanasamayē kṣudhārttō babhūva|
13 Cumque vidisset a longe ficum habentem folia, venit si quid forte inveniret in ea: et cum venisset ad eam, nihil invenit præter folia: non enim erat tempus ficorum.
tatō dūrē sapatramuḍumbarapādapaṁ vilōkya tatra kiñcit phalaṁ prāptuṁ tasya sannikr̥ṣṭaṁ yayau, tadānīṁ phalapātanasya samayō nāgacchati| tatastatrōpasthitaḥ patrāṇi vinā kimapyaparaṁ na prāpya sa kathitavān,
14 Et respondens dixit ei: Jam non amplius in æternum ex te fructum quisquam manducet. Et audiebant discipuli ejus. (aiōn )
adyārabhya kōpi mānavastvattaḥ phalaṁ na bhuñjīta; imāṁ kathāṁ tasya śiṣyāḥ śuśruvuḥ| (aiōn )
15 Et veniunt in Jerosolymam. Et cum introisset in templum, cœpit ejicere vendentes et ementes in templo: et mensas numulariorum, et cathedras vendentium columbas evertit:
tadanantaraṁ tēṣu yirūśālamamāyātēṣu yīśu rmandiraṁ gatvā tatrasthānāṁ baṇijāṁ mudrāsanāni pārāvatavikrētr̥ṇām āsanāni ca nyubjayāñcakāra sarvvān krētr̥n vikrētr̥ṁśca bahiścakāra|
16 et non sinebat ut quisquam transferret vas per templum:
aparaṁ mandiramadhyēna kimapi pātraṁ vōḍhuṁ sarvvajanaṁ nivārayāmāsa|
17 et docebat, dicens eis: Nonne scriptum est: Quia domus mea, domus orationis vocabitur omnibus gentibus? vos autem fecistis eam speluncam latronum.
lōkānupadiśan jagāda, mama gr̥haṁ sarvvajātīyānāṁ prārthanāgr̥ham iti nāmnā prathitaṁ bhaviṣyati ētat kiṁ śāstrē likhitaṁ nāsti? kintu yūyaṁ tadēva cōrāṇāṁ gahvaraṁ kurutha|
18 Quo audito principes sacerdotum et scribæ, quærebant quomodo eum perderent: timebant enim eum, quoniam universa turba admirabatur super doctrina ejus.
imāṁ vāṇīṁ śrutvādhyāpakāḥ pradhānayājakāśca taṁ yathā nāśayituṁ śaknuvanti tathōpāyaṁ mr̥gayāmāsuḥ, kintu tasyōpadēśāt sarvvē lōkā vismayaṁ gatā atastē tasmād bibhyuḥ|
19 Et cum vespera facta esset, egrediebatur de civitate.
atha sāyaṁsamaya upasthitē yīśurnagarād bahirvavrāja|
20 Et cum mane transirent, viderunt ficum aridam factam a radicibus.
anantaraṁ prātaḥkālē tē tēna mārgēṇa gacchantastamuḍumbaramahīruhaṁ samūlaṁ śuṣkaṁ dadr̥śuḥ|
21 Et recordatus Petrus, dixit ei: Rabbi, ecce ficus, cui maledixisti, aruit.
tataḥ pitaraḥ pūrvvavākyaṁ smaran yīśuṁ babhāṣaṁ, hē gurō paśyatu ya uḍumbaraviṭapī bhavatā śaptaḥ sa śuṣkō babhūva|
22 Et respondens Jesus ait illis: Habete fidem Dei.
tatō yīśuḥ pratyavādīt, yūyamīśvarē viśvasita|
23 Amen dico vobis, quia quicumque dixerit huic monti: Tollere, et mittere in mare, et non hæsitaverit in corde suo, sed crediderit, quia quodcumque dixerit fiat, fiet ei.
yuṣmānahaṁ yathārthaṁ vadāmi kōpi yadyētadgiriṁ vadati, tvamutthāya gatvā jaladhau pata, prōktamidaṁ vākyamavaśyaṁ ghaṭiṣyatē, manasā kimapi na sandihya cēdidaṁ viśvasēt tarhi tasya vākyānusārēṇa tad ghaṭiṣyatē|
24 Propterea dico vobis, omnia quæcumque orantes petitis, credite quia accipietis, et evenient vobis.
atō hētōrahaṁ yuṣmān vacmi, prārthanākālē yadyadākāṁkṣiṣyadhvē tattadavaśyaṁ prāpsyatha, itthaṁ viśvasita, tataḥ prāpsyatha|
25 Et cum stabitis ad orandum, dimittite si quid habetis adversus aliquem: ut et Pater vester, qui in cælis est, dimittat vobis peccata vestra.
aparañca yuṣmāsu prārthayituṁ samutthitēṣu yadi kōpi yuṣmākam aparādhī tiṣṭhati, tarhi taṁ kṣamadhvaṁ, tathā kr̥tē yuṣmākaṁ svargasthaḥ pitāpi yuṣmākamāgāṁmi kṣamiṣyatē|
26 Quod si vos non dimiseritis: nec Pater vester, qui in cælis est, dimittet vobis peccata vestra.
kintu yadi na kṣamadhvē tarhi vaḥ svargasthaḥ pitāpi yuṣmākamāgāṁsi na kṣamiṣyatē|
27 Et veniunt rursus Jerosolymam. Et cum ambularet in templo, accedunt ad eum summi sacerdotes, et scribæ, et seniores:
anantaraṁ tē puna ryirūśālamaṁ praviviśuḥ, yīśu ryadā madhyēmandiram itastatō gacchati, tadānīṁ pradhānayājakā upādhyāyāḥ prāñcaśca tadantikamētya kathāmimāṁ papracchuḥ,
28 et dicunt ei: In qua potestate hæc facis? et quis dedit tibi hanc potestatem ut ista facias?
tvaṁ kēnādēśēna karmmāṇyētāni karōṣi? tathaitāni karmmāṇi karttāṁ kēnādiṣṭōsi?
29 Jesus autem respondens, ait illis: Interrogabo vos et ego unum verbum, et respondete mihi: et dicam vobis in qua potestate hæc faciam.
tatō yīśuḥ pratigaditavān ahamapi yuṣmān ēkakathāṁ pr̥cchāmi, yadi yūyaṁ tasyā uttaraṁ kurutha, tarhi kayājñayāhaṁ karmmāṇyētāni karōmi tad yuṣmabhyaṁ kathayiṣyāmi|
30 Baptismus Joannis, de cælo erat, an ex hominibus? Respondete mihi.
yōhanō majjanam īśvarāt jātaṁ kiṁ mānavāt? tanmahyaṁ kathayata|
31 At illi cogitabant secum, dicentes: Si dixerimus: De cælo, dicet: Quare ergo non credidistis ei?
tē parasparaṁ vivēktuṁ prārēbhirē, tad īśvarād babhūvēti cēd vadāmastarhi kutastaṁ na pratyaita? kathamētāṁ kathayiṣyati|
32 Si dixerimus: Ex hominibus, timemus populum: omnes enim habebant Joannem quia vere propheta esset.
mānavād abhavaditi cēd vadāmastarhi lōkēbhyō bhayamasti yatō hētōḥ sarvvē yōhanaṁ satyaṁ bhaviṣyadvādinaṁ manyantē|
33 Et respondentes dicunt Jesu: Nescimus. Et respondens Jesus ait illis: Neque ego dico vobis in qua potestate hæc faciam.
ataēva tē yīśuṁ pratyavādiṣu rvayaṁ tad vaktuṁ na śaknumaḥ| yīśuruvāca, tarhi yēnādēśēna karmmāṇyētāni karōmi, ahamapi yuṣmabhyaṁ tanna kathayiṣyāmi|
