1 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 Tu ergo, fili hominis, assume super Tyrum lamentum:
And you O son of humankind take up on Tyre a lamentation.
3 et dices Tyro, quæ habitat in introitu maris, negotiationi populorum ad insulas multas: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: O Tyre, tu dixisti: Perfecti decoris ego sum,
And you will say to Tyre (that sits *Q(K)*) at [the] entrances of [the] sea [the] trader of the peoples to islands many thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh O Tyre you you have said I [am] perfect of beauty.
4 et in corde maris sita. Finitimi tui qui te ædificaverunt, impleverunt decorem tuum:
[were] in [the] heart of [the] seas Territories your builders your they perfected beauty your.
5 abietibus de Sanir exstruxerunt te cum omnibus tabulatis maris: cedrum de Libano tulerunt ut facerent tibi malum.
Fir trees from Senir they built of you all planks a cedar from Lebanon they took to make a mast on you.
6 Quercus de Basan dolaverunt in remos tuos, et transtra tua fecerunt tibi ex ebore indico, et prætoriola de insulis Italiæ.
Oaks from Bashan they made oars your boards your they made ivory inlaid in pine from [the] islands of (Kittim. *Q(k)*)
7 Byssus varia de Ægypto texta est tibi in velum ut poneretur in malo: hyacinthus et purpura de insulis Elisa facta sunt operimentum tuum.
Fine linen with colorful weaving from Egypt it was sail your to become of you a sail blue and purple from [the] islands of Elishah it was covering your.
8 Habitatores Sidonis et Aradii fuerunt remiges tui: sapientes tui, Tyre, facti sunt gubernatores tui.
[the] inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad they were rowers of you skillful [people] your O Tyre they were in you they [were] sailors your.
9 Senes Giblii et prudentes ejus habuerunt nautas ad ministerium variæ supellectilis tuæ: omnes naves maris, et nautæ earum, fuerunt in populo negotiationis tuæ.

10 Persæ, et Lydii, et Libyes erant in exercitu tuo viri bellatores tui: clypeum et galeam suspenderunt in te pro ornatu tuo.
Persia and Lud and Put they were in army your men of war your shield and helmet they hung up in you they they gave splendor your.
11 Filii Aradii cum exercitu tuo erant super muros tuos in circuitu: sed et Pigmæi qui erant in turribus tuis, pharetras suas suspenderunt in muris tuis per gyrum: ipsi compleverunt pulchritudinem tuam.

12 Carthaginenses negotiatores tui, a multitudine cunctarum divitiarum, argento, ferro, stanno, plumboque repleverunt nundinas tuas.
Tarshish [was] trader your from [the] abundance of all wealth for silver iron tin and lead they exchanged wares your.
13 Græcia, Thubal, et Mosoch, ipsi institores tui: mancipia, et vasa ærea advexerunt populo tuo.
Javan Tubal and Meshech they [were] traders your for [the] life of human[s] and vessels of bronze they exchanged merchandise your.
14 De domo Thogorma, equos, et equites, et mulos adduxerunt ad forum tuum.

15 Filii Dedan negotiatores tui; insulæ multæ, negotiatio manus tuæ: dentes eburneos et hebeninos commutaverunt in pretio tuo.

16 Syrus negotiator tuus propter multitudinem operum tuorum: gemmam, et purpuram, et scutulata, et byssum, et sericum, et chodchod proposuerunt in mercatu tuo.
Aram [was] trader your from [the] abundance of products your for turquoise purple and multicolored cloth and fine linen and corals and ruby they exchanged for wares your.
17 Juda et terra Israël, ipsi institores tui in frumento primo: balsamum, et mel, et oleum, et resinam proposuerunt in nundinis tuis.
Judah and [the] land of Israel they [were] traders your for [the] wheat of Minnith and cake and honey and oil and balm they exchanged merchandise your.
18 Damascenus negotiator tuus in multitudine operum tuorum, in multitudine diversarum opum, in vino pingui, in lanis coloris optimi.
Damascus [was] trader your in [the] abundance of products your from [the] abundance of all wealth for [the] wine of Helbon and wool of Zahar.
19 Dan, et Græcia, et Mosel, in nundinis tuis proposuerunt ferrum fabrefactum: stacte et calamus in negotiatione tua.
Vedan and Javan from Uzal for wares your they exchanged iron wrought cassia and calamus for merchandise your it was.
20 Dedan institores tui in tapetibus ad sedendum.
Dedan [was] trader your for clothes of material for riding.
21 Arabia et universi principes Cedar, ipsi negotiatores manus tuæ: cum agnis, et arietibus, et hædis, venerunt ad te negotiatores tui.
Arabia and all [the] princes of Kedar they [were] [the] traders of hand your for lambs and rams and goats for them traders your.
22 Venditores Saba et Reema, ipsi negotiatores tui: cum universis primis aromatibus, et lapide pretioso, et auro, quod proposuerunt in mercatu tuo.
[the] traders of Sheba and Raamah they [were] traders your for [the] best of every spice and for every stone precious and gold they exchanged wares your.
23 Haran, et Chene, et Eden, negotiatores tui; Saba, Assur, et Chelmad venditores tui.
Haran and Canneh and Eden [the] traders of Sheba Asshur Chilmad [was] trader your.
24 Ipsi negotiatores tui multifariam, involucris hyacinthi, et polymitorum, gazarumque pretiosarum, quæ obvolutæ et astrictæ erant funibus: cedros quoque habebant in negotiationibus tuis.
They [were] traders your (for beautiful garments *LA(bh)*) for garments of blue and multicolored cloth and for blankets of variegated cloth for ropes bound and made firm in market place your.
25 Naves maris, principes tui in negotiatione tua: et repleta es, et glorificata nimis in corde maris.
[the] ships of Tarshish [were] travelers your merchandise your and you were filled and you were honored exceedingly (in [the] heart of *LB(ah)*) [the] seas.
26 In aquis multis adduxerunt te remiges tui: ventus auster contrivit te in corde maris.
On waters many they brought you the rowers you [the] wind of the east it broke you in [the] heart of [the] seas.
27 Divitiæ tuæ, et thesauri tui, et multiplex instrumentum tuum: nautæ tui et gubernatores tui, qui tenebant supellectilem tuam, et populo tuo præerant: viri quoque bellatores tui, qui erant in te, cum universa multitudine tua quæ est in medio tui, cadent in corde maris in die ruinæ tuæ:
Wealth your and wares your merchandise your mariners your and sailors your [the] repairers of leaks your and [the] traders of merchandise your and all [the] men of war your who [were] in you and with all company your which [was] in [the] midst of you they will fall in [the] heart of [the] seas on [the] day of downfall your.
28 a sonitu clamoris gubernatorum tuorum conturbabuntur classes.
To [the] sound of [the] outcry of sailors your they will quake pasturelands.
29 Et descendent de navibus suis omnes qui tenebant remum: nautæ et universi gubernatores maris in terra stabunt.
And they will come down from ships their all [those who] wield an oar mariners all [the] sailors of the sea to the land they will stand.
30 Et ejulabunt super te voce magna: et clamabunt amare, et superjacient pulverem capitibus suis, et cinere conspergentur.
And they will make heard on you voice their so they may cry out bitter so they may bring up dust on heads their in ash[es] they will roll.
31 Et radent super te calvitium, et accingentur ciliciis: et plorabunt te in amaritudine animæ, ploratu amarissimo.
And they will make bald because of you baldness and they will gird themselves sackcloth and they will weep because of you with bitterness of emotion wailing bitter.
32 Et assument super te carmen lugubre, et plangent te: Quæ est ut Tyrus, quæ obmutuit in medio maris?
And they will take up concerning you in wailing their a lamentation and they will lament on you who? [is] like Tyre like one silenced in [the] middle of the sea.
33 Quæ in exitu negotiationum tuarum de mari implesti populos multos: in multitudine divitiarum tuarum, et populorum tuorum, ditasti reges terræ.
When went out wares your from [the] seas you satisfied peoples many by [the] abundance of wealth your and merchandise your you made rich [the] kings of [the] earth.
34 Nunc contrita es a mari: in profundis aquarum opes tuæ, et omnis multitudo tua quæ erat in medio tui, ceciderunt.
[the] time Being broken from [the] seas in [the] depths of [the] water merchandise your and all company your in [the] midst of you they have fallen.
35 Universi habitatores insularum obstupuerunt super te, et reges earum omnes tempestate perculsi mutaverunt vultus.
All [the] inhabitants of the islands they have been appalled on you and kings their they have shuddered shuddering they have been disconcerted faces.
36 Negotiatores populorum sibilaverunt super te: ad nihilum deducta es, et non eris usque in perpetuum.
Traders among the peoples they have hissed on you terrors you have become and there not [will be] you until perpetuity.
