< Romanos 16 >

I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a servant of the church in Cenchreae,
2 ut eam suscipiatis in Domino digne sanctis: et assistatis ei in quocumque negotio vestri indiguerit: etenim ipsa quoque astitit multis, et mihi ipsi.
and I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints and to assist her in whatever matter she may have need of you, for she has been a benefactor of many, including me.
3 Salutate Priscam, et Aquilam adiutores meos in Christo Iesu;
Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,
who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only do I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
5 et domesticam Ecclesiam eorum. Salutate Epænetum dilectum mihi, qui est primitivus Asiæ in Christo.
Greet also the church that meets in their house. Greet Epaenetus, my beloved friend, who is the firstfruits of Achaia for Christ.
6 Salutate Mariam, quæ multum laboravit in vobis.
Greet Mary, who has labored earnestly for us.
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my kinsfolk and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, and who were in Christ before me.
8 Salutate Ampliatum dilectissimum mihi in Domino.
Greet Amplias, my beloved friend in the Lord.
9 Salutate Urbanum adiutorem nostrum in Christo Iesu, et Stachyn dilectum meum.
Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and Stachys, my beloved friend.
10 Salutate Apellen probum in Christo.
Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those of the household of Aristobulus.
11 Salutate eos, qui sunt ex Aristoboli domo. Salutate Herodionem cognatum meum.
Greet Herodion, my kinsman. Greet those of the household of Narcissus, who are in the Lord.
12 Salutate Tryphænam, et Tryphosam: quæ laborant in Domino. Salutate Persidem charissimam, quæ multum laboravit in Domino.
Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who labor in the Lord. Greet the beloved Persis, who has labored earnestly in the Lord.
Greet Rufus, who is chosen in the Lord, and greet his mother, who has also been a mother to me.
Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brothers who are with them.
Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the saints who are with them.
16 Salutate invicem in osculo sancto. Salutant vos omnes Ecclesiæ Christi.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you.
Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them.
For such people do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly. By smooth talk and fine speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.
Gaudeo igitur in vobis.
Your obedience has become known to all, so I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.
20 Deus autem pacis conterat Satanam sub pedibus vestris velociter. Gratia Domini nostri Iesu Christi vobiscum.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
21 Salutat vos Timotheus adiutor meus, et Lucius, et Iason, et Sosipater cognati mei.
My fellow worker Timothy and my relatives Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater greet you.
22 Saluto vos ego Tertius, qui scripsi epistolam, in Domino.
I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord.
23 Salutat vos Caius hospes meus, et universa Ecclesia. Salutat vos Erastus arcarius civitatis, et Quartus, frater.
Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and so does Quartus, our brother.
24 Gratia Domini nostri Iesu Christi cum omnibus vobis. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.,
Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that has been kept silent since the world began (aiōnios g166)
but has now been revealed, and through the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all the Gentiles, according to the commandment of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— (aiōnios g166)
Amen. (aiōn g165)
to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ. Amen. (aiōn g165)
