< Psalmorum 93 >
1 Laus Cantici ipsi David in die ante sabbatum, quando fundata est terra. Dominus regnavit, decorem indutus est: indutus est Dominus fortitudinem, et præcinxit se. Etenim firmavit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur.
The LORD reigns, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, with which he has girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
2 Parata sedes tua ex tunc: a sæculo tu es.
Your throne is established of old: you are from everlasting.
3 Elevaverunt flumina Domine: elevaverunt flumina vocem suam. Elevaverunt flumina fluctus suos,
The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 a vocibus aquarum multarum. Mirabiles elationes maris, mirabilis in altis Dominus.
The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Testimonia tua credibilia facta sunt nimis: domum tuam decet sanctitudo Domine in longitudinem dierum.
Your testimonies are very sure: holiness becomes your house, O LORD, for ever.
