< Exodus 25 >
1 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Loquere filiis Israel ut tollant mihi primitias ab omni homine qui offeret ultroneus, accipietis eas.
Speak to [the] people of Israel so they may take for me a contribution from with every person whom it will impel him heart his you will take contribution my.
3 Hæc sunt autem quæ accipere debeatis: Aurum, et argentum, et æs,
And this [is] the contribution which you will take from with them gold and silver and bronze.
4 hyacinthum et purpuram, coccumque bis tinctum, et byssum, pilos caprarum,
And violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen and goat hair.
5 et pelles arietum rubricatas, pellesque ianthinas, et ligna setim:
And hides of rams dyed red and hides of dolphins and wood of acacia.
6 oleum ad luminaria concinnanda: aromata in unguentum, et thymiamata boni odoris:
Oil for the light spices for [the] oil of the anointing and for [the] incense of the perfume.
7 lapides onychinos, et gemmas ad ornandum ephod, ac rationale.
Stones of onyx and stones of setting for the ephod and for the breastpiece.
8 Facientque mihi sanctuarium, et habitabo in medio eorum:
And they will make for me a sanctuary and I will dwell in midst of them.
9 iuxta omnem similitudinem tabernaculi quod ostendam tibi, et omnium vasorum in cultum eius: sicque facietis illud:
According to all that I [am] about to show you [the] pattern of the tabernacle and [the] pattern of all articles its thus you will make [it].
10 Arcam de lignis setim compingite, cuius longitudo habeat duos et semis cubitos: latitudo, cubitum et dimidium: altitudo, cubitum similiter ac semissem.
And they will make an ark of wood of acacia [will be] two cubits and a half length its and [will be] a cubit and a half breadth its and [will be] a cubit and a half height its.
11 Et deaurabis eam auro mundissimo intus et foris: faciesque supra, coronam auream per circuitum:
And you will overlay it gold pure from inside and from outside you will overlay it and you will make on it a molding gold all around.
12 et quattuor circulos aureos, quos pones per quattuor arcæ angulos: duo circuli sint in latere uno, et duo in altero.
And you will cast for it four rings of gold and you will put [them] on [the] four feet its and two rings [will be] on side its one and two rings [will be] on side its second.
13 Facies quoque vectes de lignis setim, et operies eos auro.
And you will make poles of wood of acacia and you will overlay them gold.
14 Inducesque per circulos qui sunt in arcæ lateribus, ut portetur in eis:
And you will put the poles in the rings on [the] sides of the ark to carry the ark by them.
15 qui semper erunt in circulis, nec umquam extrahentur ab eis.
In [the] rings of the ark they will be the poles not they will be removed from it.
16 Ponesque in arca testificationem quam dabo tibi.
And you will put into the ark the testimony which I will give to you.
17 Facies et propitiatorium de auro mundissimo: duos cubitos et dimidium tenebit longitudo eius, et cubitum ac semissem latitudo.
And you will make an atonement cover gold pure [will be] two cubits and a half length its and [will be] a cubit and a half breadth its.
18 Duos quoque Cherubim aureos, et productiles facies, ex utraque parte oraculi.
And you will make two cherubim gold hammered work you will make them from [the] two [the] ends of the atonement cover.
19 Cherub unus sit in latere uno, et alter in altero.
And make a cherub one from an end from this and a cherub one from an end from this from the atonement cover you will make the cherubim on [the] two ends its.
20 Utrumque latus propitiatorii tegant expandentes alas, et operientes oraculum, respiciantque se mutuo versis vultibus in propitiatorium quo operienda est arca,
And they will be the cherubim spreading out wings upwards covering with wings their over the atonement cover and faces their each [will be] to brother its to the atonement cover they will be [the] faces of the cherubim.
21 in qua pones testimonium quod dabo tibi.
And you will put the atonement cover on the ark from to above and into the ark you will put the testimony which I will give to you.
22 Inde præcipiam, et loquar ad te supra propitiatorium, ac de medio duorum Cherubim, qui erunt super arcam testimonii, cuncta quæ mandabo per te filiis Israel.
And I will meet you there and I will speak with you from above the atonement cover from between [the] two the cherubim which [will be] above [the] ark of the testimony all that I will command you to [the] people of Israel.
23 Facies et mensam de lignis setim, habentem duos cubitos longitudinis, et in latitudine cubitum, et in altitudine cubitum et semissem.
And you will make a table wood of acacia [will be] two cubits length its and [will be] a cubit breadth its and [will be] a cubit and a half height its.
24 Et inaurabis eam auro purissimo: faciesque illi labium aureum per circuitum,
And you will overlay it gold pure and you will make for it a molding of gold all around.
25 et ipsi labio coronam interrasilem altam quattuor digitis: et super illam, alteram coronam aureolam.
And you will make for it a rim of a hand breadth all around and you will make a molding of gold for rim its all around.
26 Quattuor quoque circulos aureos præparabis, et pones eis in quattuor angulis eiusdem mensæ per singulos pedes.
And you will make for it four rings of gold and you will put the rings on [the] four the corners which [belong] to [the] four feet its.
27 Subter coronam erunt circuli aurei, ut mittantur vectes per eos, et possit mensa portari.
Close to the rim they will become the rings holders for poles to carry the table.
28 Ipsos quoque vectes facies de lignis setim, et circumdabis auro ad subvehendam mensam.
And you will make the poles wood of acacia and you will overlay them gold and it will be carried by them the table.
29 Parabis et acetabula, ac phialas, thuribula, et cyathos, in quibus offerenda sunt libamina, ex auro purissimo.
And you will make dishes its and pans its and jugs its and bowls its which it will be poured out with them gold pure you will make them.
30 Et pones super mensam panes propositionis in conspectu meo semper.
And you will put on the table bread of presence before me continually.
31 Facies et candelabrum ductile de auro mundissimo, hastile eius, et calamos, scyphos, et sphærulas, ac lilia ex ipso procedentia.
And you will make a lampstand of gold pure hammered work it will be made the lampstand base its and shaft its cups its bulbs its and blossoms its from it they will be.
32 Sex calami egredientur de lateribus, tres ex uno latere, et tres ex altero.
And six branches [will be] coming out from sides its three - branches of lampstand [will be] from side its one and three branches of lampstand [will be] from side its second.
33 Tres scyphi quasi in nucis modum per calamos singulos, sphærulaque simul, et lilium: et tres similiter scyphi instar nucis in calamo altero, sphærulaque simul et lilium. hoc erit opus sex calamorum, qui producendi sunt de hastili:
Three cups shaped like almond blossoms [will be] on the branch one a bulb and a blossom and three cups shaped like almond blossoms [will be] on the branch one a bulb and a blossom thus for [the] six the branches which come out from the lampstand.
34 in ipso autem candelabro erunt quattuor scyphi in nucis modum, sphærulæque per singulos, et lilia.
And [will be] on the lampstand four cups shaped like almond blossoms bulbs its and blossoms its.
35 Sphærulæ sub duobus calamis per tria loca, qui simul sex fiunt procedentes de hastili uno.
And a bulb [will be] under [the] two the branches from it and a bulb [will be] under [the] two the branches from it and a bulb [will be] under [the] two the branches from it for [the] six the branches which come out from the lampstand.
36 Et sphærulæ igitur et calami ex ipso erunt, universa ductilia de auro purissimo.
Bulbs their and branches their from it they will be all of it [will be] hammered work one gold pure.
37 Facies et lucernas septem, et pones eas super candelabrum, ut luceant ex adverso.
And you will make lamps its seven and it will lift up lamps its and it will give light on [the] side of face its.
38 Emunctoria quoque, et ubi quæ emuncta sunt extinguantur, fiant de auro purissimo.
And tongs its and fire-pans its [will be] gold pure.
39 Omne pondus candelabri cum universis vasis suis habebit talentum auri purissimi.
A talent gold pure someone will make it all the articles these.
40 Inspice, et fac secundum exemplar quod tibi in monte monstratum est.
And see and make [them] in pattern their which you [are] being shown on the mountain.
