< Malachi Propheta 3 >
1 Ecce ego mitto angelum meum, et præparabit viam ante faciem meam. Et statim veniet ad templum suum Dominator, quem vos quæritis, et angelus testamenti, quem vos vultis. Ecce venit, dicit Dominus exercituum:
look! I to send: depart messenger my and to turn way: road to/for face: before my and suddenly to come (in): come to(wards) temple his [the] lord which you(m. p.) to seek and messenger [the] covenant which you(m. p.) delighting behold to come (in): come to say LORD Hosts
2 et quis poterit cogitare diem adventus eius, et quis stabit ad videndum eum? Ipse enim quasi ignis conflans, et quasi herba fullonum:
and who? to sustain [obj] day to come (in): come he and who? [the] to stand: stand in/on/with to see: see he for he/she/it like/as fire to refine and like/as lye to wash
3 et sedebit conflans, et emundans argentum, et purgabit filios Levi, et colabit eos quasi aurum, et quasi argentum, et erunt Domino offerentes sacrificia in iustitia.

4 Et placebit Domino sacrificium Iuda, et Ierusalem sicut dies sæculi, et sicut anni antiqui.
and to please to/for LORD offering Judah and Jerusalem like/as day forever: antiquity and like/as year eastern: older
5 Et accedam ad vos in iudicio, et ero testis velox maleficis, et adulteris, et periuris, et qui calumniantur mercedem mercenarii, viduas, et pupillos, et opprimunt peregrinum, nec timuerunt me, dicit Dominus exercituum.
and to present: come to(wards) you to/for justice: judgement and to be witness to hasten in/on/with to practice sorcery and in/on/with to commit adultery and in/on/with to swear to/for deception and in/on/with to oppress wages hired widow and orphan and to stretch sojourner and not to fear: revere me to say LORD Hosts
6 Ego enim Dominus, et non mutor: et vos filii Iacob non estis consumpti.

7 A diebus enim patrum vestrorum recessistis a legitimis meis, et non custodistis. Revertimini ad me, et revertar ad vos, dicit Dominus exercituum. Et dixistis: In quo revertemur?

8 Si affliget homo Deum, quia vos configitis me? Et dixistis: In quo configimus te? In decimis, et in primitiis.

9 Et in penuria vos maledicti estis, et me vos configitis gens tota.

10 Inferte omnem decimam in horreum, et sit cibus in domo mea, et probate me super hoc, dicit Dominus: si non aperuero vobis cataractas cæli, et effudero vobis benedictionem usque ad abundantiam,
to come (in): bring [obj] all [the] tithe to(wards) house: home [the] treasure and to be prey in/on/with house: home my and to test me please in/on/with this to say LORD Hosts if not to open to/for you [obj] window [the] heaven and to empty to/for you blessing till without sufficiency
11 et increpabo pro vobis devorantem, et non corrumpet fructum terræ vestræ: nec erit sterilis vinea in agro, dicit Dominus exercituum.
and to rebuke to/for you in/on/with to eat and not to ruin to/for you [obj] fruit [the] land: soil and not be bereaved to/for you [the] vine in/on/with land: country to say LORD Hosts
12 Et beatos vos dicent omnes Gentes: eritis enim vos terra desiderabilis, dicit Dominus exercituum.
and to bless [obj] you all [the] nation for to be you(m. p.) land: country/planet pleasure to say LORD Hosts
13 Invaluerunt super me verba vestra, dicit Dominus.
to strengthen: strengthen upon me word your to say LORD and to say what? to speak: speak upon you
14 Et dixistis: Quid locuti sumus contra te? Dixistis: Vanus est, qui servit Deo: et quod emolumentum quia custodivimus præcepta eius, et quia ambulavimus tristes coram Domino exercituum?
to say vanity: vain to serve: minister God and what? unjust-gain for to keep: obey charge his and for to go: walk mournfully from face: before LORD Hosts
15 Ergo nunc beatos dicimus arrogantes: siquidem ædificati sunt facientes impietatem, et tentaverunt Deum, et salvi facti sunt.
and now we to bless arrogant also to build to make: [do] wickedness also to test God and to escape
16 Tunc locuti sunt timentes Dominum, unusquisque cum proximo suo: Et attendit Dominus, et audivit: et scriptus est liber monumenti coram eo timentibus Dominum, et cogitantibus nomen eius.

17 Et erunt mihi, ait Dominus exercituum, in die, qua ego facio, in peculium: et parcam eis, sicut parcit vir filio suo servienti sibi.

18 Et convertemini, et videbitis quid sit inter iustum, et impium: et inter servientem Deo, et non servientem ei.
