< Isaiæ 12 >

1 Et dices in die illa: Confitebor tibi Domine, quoniam iratus es mihi: conversus est furor tuus, et consolatus es me.
In that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, Adonai; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me.
2 Ecce Deus salvator meus, fiducialiter agam, et non timebo: quia fortitudo mea, et laus mea Dominus, et factus est mihi in salutem.
Behold, God is my yishu'ah ·salvation·. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Adonai, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.”
3 Haurietis aquas in gaudio de fontibus Salvatoris:
Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of yishu'ah ·salvation·.
4 et dicetis in die illa: Confitemini Domino, et invocate nomen eius: notas facite in populis adinventiones eius: mementote quoniam excelsum est nomen eius.
In that day you will say, “Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai! Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted!
5 Cantate Domino quoniam magnifice fecit: annunciate hoc in universa terra.
Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to Adonai, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!
6 Exulta, et lauda habitatio Sion: quia Magnus in medio tui Sanctus Israel.
Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]; for haKadosh Isra'el [the Holy One of God prevails] is great among you!”
