| بەڵام تۆ دەبێت بە فێرکردنی دروست خەڵکی فێر بکەیت. | 1 |
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
| پیرەمێردەکان فێر بکەن کە وریابن، بەڕێز، ژیر، دروست بن لە باوەڕ و خۆشەویستی و دانبەخۆداگرتن. | 2 |
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience;
| هەروەها پیرێژنەکان فێر بکەن کە بە ڕێزەوە بژین، بوختانکەر نەبن و خوو بە شەرابەوە نەگرن، بەڵکو شتی چاک فێری خەڵکی بکەن، | 3 |
The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
| تاکو ئامۆژگاری ژنە گەنجەکان بکەن کە مێرد و منداڵیان خۆشبوێت، | 4 |
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
| ژیر و پاک بن، بە ماڵەوە سەرقاڵ بن، چاک بن و ملکەچی مێردەکانیان بن، نەوەک کفر بە وشەی خودا بکرێت. | 5 |
[To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
| بە هەمان شێوە، هانی پیاوە گەنجەکان بدە ژیر بن. | 6 |
Young men likewise exhort to be sober-minded.
| لە هەموو شتێکدا ببە بە نموونەیان بۆ چاکەکاری. لە فێرکردندا دروستی و دڵسۆزی پیشان بدە، | 7 |
In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [showing] incorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
| با قسەت دروست بێت و ڕەخنەی لێ نەگیرێت، تاکو ناحەز شەرمەزار بێت، چونکە هیچی خراپ نادۆزێتەوە لە دژتان بیڵێت. | 8 |
Sound speech that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say concerning you.
| کۆیلەکانیش لە هەموو شتێکدا ملکەچی گەورەکانیان بن، ڕازییان بکەن، بەرپەرچیان نەدەنەوە، | 9 |
[Exhort] servants to be obedient to their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again;
| هیچیان لێ نەدزن، بەڵکو ئەوپەڕی دەستپاکی پیشان بدەن، تاکو لە هەموو شتێکدا فێرکردنی خودای ڕزگارکەرمان بڕازێننەوە. | 10 |
Not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.
| نیعمەتی خودا دەرکەوت و ڕزگاری پێشکەشی هەموو خەڵک دەکات. | 11 |
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
| ئەوەی فێرمان دەکات نکۆڵی لە خوانەناسی و هەوەسە دنیاییەکان بکەین، بە ژیری و ڕاستودروستی و لەخواترسی بژین لەم دنیایە، (aiōn g165) | 12 |
Teaching us, that denying ungodliness, and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and piously, in this present world; (aiōn g165)
| لە چاوەڕوانی هیوای بەرەکەتدار، دەرکەوتنی شکۆی خودای گەورە و ڕزگارکەرمان، عیسای مەسیح، | 13 |
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God, and our Savior Jesus Christ;
| ئەوەی بۆ ئێمە خۆی بەختکرد، تاکو لە هەموو سەرپێچییەک بمانکڕێتەوە و گەلێکی تایبەت بۆ خۆی پاک بکاتەوە، دڵگەرم بۆ چاکەکاری. | 14 |
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
| ئەو شتانە فێری خەڵکی بکە، هانیان بدە و بە هەموو دەسەڵاتێک سەرزەنشتیان بکە. ڕێگا مەدە کەس بە کەمت بزانێت. | 15 |
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
