ڕۆما 14

1 ئەوەی لە باوەڕدا لاوازە پێشوازیی لێ بکەن، بەبێ حوکمدانی بیروڕاکان.

Him that is weake in the faith, receiue vnto you, but not for controuersies of disputations.

2 هەیە باوەڕی بەوەیە هەموو شتێک بخوات، بەڵام ئەوەی باوەڕی لاوازە تەنها سەوزە دەخوات.

One beleeueth that he may eate of all things: and another, which is weake, eateth herbes.

3 با بخۆر سووکایەتی بە نەخۆر نەکات، نەخۆریش بخۆر تاوانبار نەکات، چونکە خودا پێشوازی لێکردووە.

Let not him that eateth, despise him that eateth not: and let not him which eateth not, condemne him that eateth: for God hath receiued him.

4 تۆ کێی تاکو خزمەتکاری کەسێکی دیکە حوکم بدەیت؟ سەرکەوتن یان سەرنەکەوتنی خزمەتکار لە خزمەتەکەیدا پەیوەندی بە گەورەکەیەوە هەیە، بەڵام سەردەکەوێت، چونکە مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆ دەتوانێت سەریبخات.

Who art thou that condemnest another mans seruant? hee standeth or falleth to his owne master: yea, he shalbe established: for God is able to make him stand.

5 کەسێک ڕۆژێک لە ڕۆژێکی دیکە بە پیرۆزتر دادەنێت، کەسێکی دیکە هەموو ڕۆژێک لەبەرچاو دەگرێت. با هەریەکە لە بیروڕای خۆی دڵنیابێت.

This man esteemeth one day aboue another day, and another man counteth euery day alike: let euery man be fully perswaded in his minde.

6 ئەوەی بایەخ بە ڕۆژ دەدات، لەبەر یەزدان بایەخی پێ دەدات. ئەوەی گوشت دەخوات، لەبەر یەزدان دەیخوات، چونکە سوپاسی خودا دەکات. ئەوەش کە ناخوات، لەبەر یەزدان ناخوات و سوپاسی خودا دەکات،

He that obserueth the day, obserueth it to the Lord: and he that obserueth not the day, obserueth it not to the Lord. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord: for he giueth God thankes: and he that eateth not, eateth not to the Lord, and giueth God thankes.

7 لەبەر ئەوەی کەسمان بۆ خۆی ناژیێت، کەسیش بۆ خۆی نامرێت.

For none of vs liueth to himselfe, neither doeth any die to himselfe.

8 لەبەر ئەوەی ئەگەر بژین بۆ مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆ دەژین، ئەگەر بشمرین لە پێناوی ئەو دەمرین. کەواتە بژین یان بمرین، ئێمە هی مەسیحین.

For whether wee liue, we liue vnto the Lord: or whether we die, we die vnto the Lord: whether we liue therefore, or die, we are the Lords.

9 هەر لەبەر ئەم هۆیە مەسیح مرد و زیندووبووەوە تاکو ببێتە گەورەی زیندووان و مردووان.

For Christ therefore died and rose againe, and reuiued, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the quicke.

10 ئیتر تۆ بۆچی خوشکت یان براکەت تاوانبار دەکەیت؟ یان بۆچی سووکایەتییان پێ دەکەیت؟ چونکە هەموومان لەبەردەم تەختی دادگایی خودا ڕادەوەستین،

But why doest thou condemne thy brother? or why doest thou despise thy brother? for we shall all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ.

11 چونکە نووسراوە: [یەزدان دەفەرموێ: بە گیانی خۆم، هەموو ئەژنۆیەک بۆ من چۆک دادەدات، هەموو زمانێک دان بە خودا دەنێت.]

For it is written, I liue, sayth the Lord, and euery knee shall bowe to me, and all tongues shall confesse vnto God.

12 کەواتە، هەریەک لە ئێمە دەبێت حیسابی خۆی بداتە خودا.

So then euery one of vs shall giue accounts of himselfe to God.

13 لەبەر ئەوە ئیتر با یەکتری تاوانبار نەکەین، بەڵکو باشترە ئەم بڕیارە بدەن: کۆسپ و تەگەرە لەبەردەم خوشک یان برا دانەنرێت.

Let vs not therefore iudge one another any more: but vse your iudgement rather in this, that no man put an occasion to fall, or a stumbling blocke before his brother.

14 بەهۆی عیسای خاوەن شکۆوە دەزانم و دڵنیام کە هیچ شتێک لە خۆیدا گڵاو نییە، بەڵام ئەگەر کەسێک بە گڵاوی بزانێت، ئەوە تەنها لە لای ئەو کەسە گڵاوە.

I know, and am perswaded through the Lord Iesus, that there is nothing vncleane of it selfe: but vnto him that iudgeth any thing to be vncleane, to him it is vncleane.

15 ئەگەر بەهۆی خۆراکەوە خوشک یان براکەت دڵتەنگ بێت، ئیتر بەگوێرەی خۆشەویستی ناژیت. بەهۆی خۆراکەوە ئەو کەسە لەناو مەبە کە مەسیح لە پێناویدا مردووە.

But if thy brother be grieued for the meate, nowe walkest thou not charitably: destroy not him with thy meate, for whome Christ dyed.

16 مەهێڵن خەڵکی بە خراپە باسی شتێک بکات کە بۆ ئێوە چاکە،

Cause not your commoditie to be euill spoken of.

17 چونکە پاشایەتی خودا خواردن و خواردنەوە نییە، بەڵکو ڕاستودروستی و ئاشتی و خۆشییە لە ڕۆحی پیرۆزدا.

For the kingdome of God, is not meate nor drinke, but righteousnes, and peace, and ioye in the holy Ghost.

18 هەرکەسێک بەم شێوەیە خزمەتی مەسیح بکات، جێگای ڕەزامەندی خودا دەبێت و خەڵکیش متمانەی پێ دەکەن.

For whosoeuer in these things serueth Christ, is acceptable vnto God, and is approoued of men.

19 کەواتە با تێبکۆشین لە پێناوی ئەوەی بەرەو ئاشتی و بنیادنانی یەکترمان دەبات.

Let vs then follow those things which concerne peace, and wherewith one may edifie another.

20 لە پێناوی خۆراک کاری خودا وێران مەکە. هەموو شتەکان پاکن، بەڵام خراپە ئەگەر بێتو کەسێک بە خواردنیی ببێتە کۆسپ بۆ کەسێکی دیکە.

Destroy not the worke of God for meates sake: all things in deede are pure: but it is euill for the man which eateth with offence.

21 باشە گۆشت نەخۆیت و شەراب نەخۆیتەوە و شتێک نەکەیت ببێتە هۆکاری کەوتنی خوشکەکەت یان براکەت.

It is good neither to eate flesh, nor to drinke wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or made weake.

22 ئەو باوەڕەی هەتە، با لەبەردەم خودا بۆ خۆت بێت. خۆزگە دەخوازرێت بەوەی خۆی تاوانبار ناکات لەو شتەی کە پەسەندی دەکات.

Hast thou faith? haue it with thy selfe before God: blessed is hee that condemneth not himselfe in that thing which he aloweth.

23 بەڵام ئەوەی گومان بکات، ئەگەر بخوات تاوانبار دەکرێت، چونکە لە باوەڕەوە نییە. هەرشتێک لە باوەڕەوە نەبێت گوناهە.

For he that doubteth, is condemned if he eate, because he eateth not of faith: and whatsoeuer is not of faith, is sinne.
