زەبوورەکان 54

1 بۆ سەرۆکی کۆمەڵی مۆسیقاژەنان، بە ئامێرە ژێدارەکان. هۆنراوەیەکی داودە کاتێک زیفییەکان هاتن و بە شاولیان گوت: «داود لەلای ئێمە خۆی شاردووەتەوە.» ئەی خودایە، بە ناوی خۆت ڕزگارم بکە، بە هێزی خۆت ئەستۆپاکیم بسەلمێنە.

“For the leader of the music. To be sung on stringed instruments A psalm of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us?” Save me, O God! by thy name, And by thy strength defend my cause!

2 ئەی خودایە، گوێ لە نوێژم بگرە، قسەکانی دەمم ببیستە.

O God! hear my prayer, Give ear to the words of my mouth!

3 بێگانە لێم هەستاون، دڵڕەقەکان دەیانەوێ بمکوژن، ئەوانەی ڕوویان لە خودا نەکردووە.

For enemies have risen up against me, And oppressors seek my life; They have not set God before their eyes. (Pause)

4 بە ڕاستی خودا یارمەتیدەری منە، پەروەردگار پشتگیری گیانم دەکات.

Behold! God is my helper; The Lord is the support of my life.

5 با خراپە بگەڕێتەوە سەر دوژمنەکانم، بە دڵسۆزی خۆت لە ناویان ببە.

He will repay evil to my enemies; For thy truth's sake, O God! cut them off!

6 ئەی یەزدان، بەخشینی ئازادت پێشکەش دەکەم، ستایشی ناوت دەکەم، چونکە چاکە.

With a willing heart will I sacrifice to thee; I will praise thy name, O LORD! for it is good;

7 لە هەموو تەنگانەکان دەربازی کردووم، سەرکەوتووانە چاوم بڕیوەتە دوژمنەکانم.

For thou hast delivered me from all trouble, So that my eye hath looked with joy upon my enemies!
