زەبوورەکان 27

1 زەبوورێکی داود. یەزدان ڕووناکی و ڕزگاریی منە، لە کێ بترسم؟ یەزدان قەڵای ژیانی منە، لە کێ بتۆقم؟

David’s. Yahweh, is my light and my salvation, Of whom shall I be afraid? Yahweh, is the refuge of my life, Of whom shall I be in dread?

2 کاتێک بەدکاران لێم نزیک بنەوە بۆ ئەوەی گۆشتم بخۆن، کاتێک دوژمنان و ناحەزانم پەلامارم بدەن، ساتمە دەکەن و دەکەون.

When there drew near against me evil-doers to devour my flesh, mine adversaries, and mine enemies—mine!—they, stumbled and fell!

3 ئەگەر لەشکرێکیش دەورم بدات، دڵم ناترسێت. ئەگەر جەنگ بەرپا بکەن دژم، ئەو کاتەش هەر دڵنیا دەبم.

Though there pitch against me—a camp, my heart shall not fear, —Though there come up against me—a battle, still, am I confident.

4 داوای یەک شت لە یەزدان دەکەم، ئەوەی بەدوایدا دەگەڕێم: کە هەموو ڕۆژانی ژیانم لە ماڵی یەزدان نیشتەجێ بم، تاکو تەماشای جوانی یەزدان بکەم و لە پەرستگاکەی ورد ببمەوە.

One thing, have I asked of Yahweh, That, will I seek to secure, —That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh, all the days of my life, To view the delightfulness of Yahweh, And to contemplate in his temple.

5 لەبەر ئەوەی لە ڕۆژی بەڵا، لەژێر سێبەری خۆی دەمشارێتەوە، بە پڵاسی نشینگەکەی دامدەپۆشێت. بۆ سەر تاشەبەردێک بڵندم دەکاتەوە.

For he will hide me in his pavilion, in the day of calamity, —He will conceal me, in the secrecy of his tent, Within a rock, will he set me on high.

6 ئێستاش سەرفرازم بەسەر دوژمنانی دەوروبەرم، لەناو نشینگەکەیدا بە هاوار و خۆشییەوە قوربانی پێشکەش دەکەم، سروود بۆ یەزدان دەڵێم و مۆسیقا دەژەنم.

Now, therefore, shall my head be raised high above my foes round about me, and I will sacrifice in his tent the sacrifices of triumphant joy, I will sing and touch the strings, to Yahweh.

7 ئەی یەزدان، گوێت لە دەنگم بێ کاتێک لێت دەپاڕێمەوە، لەگەڵم میهرەبان بە و وەڵامم بدەوە.

Hear, O Yahweh, With my voice, do I cry, Oh then show me favour and answer me.

8 سەبارەت بە تۆ دڵم دەڵێت: «ڕووت لەو بکە!» ئەی یەزدان، ڕووم لە تۆ دەکەم.

To thee, said my heart—[When thou saidst] Seek ye my face—Thy face, O Yahweh, will I seek!

9 ڕووی خۆتم لێ مەشارەوە، خزمەتکاری خۆت لە کاتی تووڕەییت مەگەڕێنەوە، تۆ یارمەتیدەری من بوویت. ئەی خودای ڕزگارکەرم، ڕەتم مەکەرەوە و جێم مەهێڵە.

Do not hide thy face from me, Do not repulse, in thine anger, thine own servant, —My help, thou hast been, Do not send me away nor forsake me, O my saving God!

10 تەنانەت دایک و باوکیشم وازم لێ بهێنن، یەزدان دەمگرێتە خۆی.

When, my own father and mother, had forsaken me, Then, Yahweh, took me up!

11 ئەی یەزدان، ڕێگای خۆتم فێر بکە، بۆ ڕێگای ڕاست ڕێنماییم بکە، لەبەر دوژمنەکانم.

Point out to me, O Yahweh, thy way, —And guide me in a level path, because of mine adversaries.

12 بە ویستی ناحەزەکانم مەمسپێرە، چونکە شایەتی درۆ لێم ڕاست بوونەتەوە، هەناسەی زۆردارییان لێ دێتە دەرەوە.

Do not give me up unto the desire of mine adversaries, for there have risen up against me witnesses that are false, and he that fanneth up violence.

13 من هێشتا باوەڕم بەوە هەیە، کە لە خاکی زیندووان چاکەی یەزدان دەبینم.

I believe that I shall see—The goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living,

14 چاوەڕێی یەزدان بە، خۆت ئازا بکە و دڵت بەهێز بکە، چاوەڕێی یەزدان بە.

Wait thou for Yahweh, —Be strong, and let thy heart be bold, Wait, then, for Yahweh!
