1 بۆ گەورەی گۆرانیبێژان، زەبوورێکی داود. ئەی یەزدان، لە کەسی بەدکار دەربازم بکە، لە پیاوی توندوتیژ بمپارێزە،

To victorie, the salm of Dauith. Lord, delyuere thou me fro an yuel man; delyuere thou me fro a wickid man.

2 ئەوانەی لە دڵەوە بیر لە خراپە دەکەنەوە و هەموو ڕۆژێک خەریکی شەڕانگێزین.

Whiche thouyten wickidnesses in the herte; al dai thei ordeyneden batels.

3 زمانیان وەک زمانی مار تیژکردووە، ژەهری تیرەمار لەژێر لێویانە.

Thei scharpiden her tungis as serpentis; the venym of snakis vndir the lippis of hem.

4 ئەی یەزدان، لە دەست بەدکار ئاگادارم بە، لە پیاوی توندوتیژ بمپارێزە، ئەوانەی پیلانیان داناوە بۆ ئەوەی قاچم بخلیسکێنن.

Lord, kepe thou me fro the hond of the synnere; and delyuere thou me fro wickid men. Which thouyten to disseyue my goyngis;

5 لووتبەرزان تەڵەیان بۆم ناوەتەوە، پەت و تۆڕیان بڵاو کردووەتەوە، لە دەم ڕێگا داویان بۆم ناوەتەوە.

proude men hidden a snare to me. And thei leiden forth cordis in to a snare; thei settiden sclaundir to me bisidis the weie.

6 بە یەزدانم گوت: «تۆ خودای منی!» ئەی یەزدان، گوێ لە دەنگی پاڕانەوەم بگرە.

I seide to the Lord, Thou art mi God; Lord, here thou the vois of my biseching.

7 ئەی یەزدانی پەروەردگار، هێزی ڕزگاریم، لە ڕۆژی شەڕدا سەری منت داپۆشی.

Lord, Lord, the vertu of myn heelthe; thou madist schadowe on myn heed in the dai of batel.

8 ئەی یەزدان، ئارەزووەکانی بەدکار مەهێنە دی، لێمەگەڕێ پیلانەکانی سەربگرێت، بۆ ئەوەی لووتبەرز نەبن.

Lord, bitake thou not me fro my desire to the synnere; thei thouyten ayens me, forsake thou not me, lest perauenture thei ben enhaunsid.

9 با سەری ئەوانەی دەوریان داوم بە خراپەی لێویان بپۆشرێن،

The heed of the cumpas of hem; the trauel of her lippis schal hile hem.

10 با پشکۆیان بەسەردا ببارێت، بکەونە ناو ئاگرەوە، بکەونە ناو چاڵەوە، ڕاست نەبنەوە.

Colis schulen falle on hem, thou schalt caste hem doun in to fier; in wretchidnessis thei schulen not stonde.

11 با بوختانکەر لەسەر زەوی جێگیر نەبێت، با کەسی توندوتیژ ببێتە نێچیری خراپە.

A man a greet ianglere schal not be dressid in erthe; yuels schulen take an vniust man in perisching.

12 دەزانم یەزدان دادپەروەری دەکات بۆ هەژاران، ماف دەدات بە نەداران.

I haue knowe, that the Lord schal make dom of a nedi man; and the veniaunce of pore men.

13 بێگومان ڕاستودروستان ستایشی ناوت دەکەن، سەرڕاستان لە ئامادەبوونت دادەنیشن.

Netheles iust men schulen knouleche to thi name; and riytful men schulen dwelle with thi cheer.
