1 گۆرانی گەشتیاران، بۆ داود. ئەوەتا چەند باشە و چەند جوانە، کاتێک گەلی خودا پێکەوە بژین!

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up. By David.” Behold, how good and pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 وەک ڕۆنی بۆن خۆشە بەسەر سەرەوە، کە بەسەر ڕیشدا دێتە خوارێ، ڕیشی هارون، کە بەسەر یەخەی کراسەکەیدا دێتە خوارێ.

It is like precious perfume upon the head, Which ran down upon the beard, The beard of Aaron; Which went down to the very border of his garments;

3 وەک شەونمی حەرمۆن کە دێتە خوارێ بەسەر کێوی سییۆن، چونکە لەوێ یەزدان فەرمانی بە بەرەکەت دا، ژیانی هەتاهەتایی.

Like the dew of Hermon, Like that which descendeth upon the mountains of Zion. For there the LORD commandeth a blessing, Even life for evermore.
